Trisha Messmer always had an obsession with reading, starting at the tender age of four (or so her mother told her).Finding some of the things she read lacking-or at least not ending the way she thought they should-she started making up her own stories. I really liked this story. The only thing that was hard for me was the fact that Daniel decided to use Taylor to make Becky jealous, even to the point of sleeping with her. Not fair to any of them. Other than that, it was an excellent story with a twist ending of Ed & Veronica!

What really stood out to me for the Bottom Line was the natural flow of the story. Some books have a lull mid-book. Messmer keeps the flow going from start to finish. What really sold me on the book was the supporting cast, notably Ed. There's also a fun twist at the end.
I did it backwards, I read book 2 first and enjoyed it so I found this book. I enjoyed this book very much. Becky and Daniel are great characters, well written and personable. Very easy to relate with. I enjoyed my Sunday morning curled into the chair with my coffee and this book!
I looked at this story as Cinderella in reverse. Little rich girl comes out of her ivory tower to meet a an average guy and they fall in love. Daniel and Becky were fun characters to follow.
