Princess of Hell #3

Hell's Revenge

Rate this book
I am literally going to kill my mother.

To say I have mommy issues is putting it mildly. The woman who abandoned me has a lot of nerve to just saunter back into my life without warning and drop a bombshell of atomic proportions. I tried to kill her as a way of resolving my inner Freudian issues, but my damned boyfriends stopped me. Spoilsports.

As if wanting to strangle my birth mother isn’t enough, once again, someone is messing with my life and a new player steps in to save me. Did I mention my dark knight is tall, gorgeous, and fanged? Just don’t tell my lovers because apparently they’re not willing to share me with the undead.

The final showdown with the mysterious figure—also known as the major pain in my ass—fast approaches. I don’t care how powerful they are. They screwed up big time when they took something precious of mine. It’s never a good idea to piss off this princess of Hell because revenge is my middle name.

Thrust into the final showdown, thankfully, I’ve got more than my fallen angel and kitty at my side. Dark, Fanged, and Delicious is determined to join my group. I’m facing my biggest challenge yet, but don’t worry, with the help of my family and lovers, Hell will have its revenge.

Includes a foursome, some serious ass kicking and a sexual orgy that boggles the mind.

Gotta love a warning!!!

Ok...Hell's Revenge was the shit, Muriel kicked major ass, Her men were smokin hot!! The sex was phenomenal....I loved it...The End!

My Thoughts in a nutshell, now for the real review.......

In the final installment of The Princess of Hell series by Eve Langlais....leaves off where Snowballs in Hell left off. Muriel's mom drops in and tells her she's pregnant by her two beau's. So of course she tries to kill the bitch...since she abandoned her to her father and is raised in hell! Ummm...yeah....Muriel's got Mommy issues. And to top it all off....The Big Bad Evil now wants her child to raise and be destroyer of the world! Muriel also learns that her two men aren't enough to sustain her nympho magic and is very attracted to a sexy vamp she meets in hell. Lots of questions are answered and the final battle begins...Can her Angel Consort and Panther-Shifter hunk, handle the new competition? Will Muriel finally let the boys get some back door action? And just who is The One, thats got the demons wrapped around their little finger?

Anyone who reads my blog knows how much I love Eve Langlais and how much Iv been waiting for the release of Hells Revenge! The wait is over and now Im sad...Im really going to miss Muriel! She's so temperamental...that one!! The way that Auric handles her is great. It really takes a different kinda man to handle a Princess of Hell.

Of course, pleasure sometimes came with pain. Naked, wet and horny, I couldn’t wait to get sucked or fucked. Instead, I ended up splayed on my stomach over David’s naked lap. “Aw, come on,” I complained—not too hard, though. I did enjoy some firm correction from time to time. But like or not, I still played the part of unwilling submissive. “She totally deserved that for interrupting our nice family dinner.” I tried to rear up, a foolhardy attempt what with David’s large hand holding me firmly down.

All in all, it was great! Everything I expected and MORE!! David finally grew a backbone and the new vampire lover was super sexy! Can't resist a hot vampire in all black ready to fight off demons for you:

"...didn’t help me at all when faced with one who stared at me with dark enigmatic eyes and a dimple in one cheek. I cursed at the fact that even given my danger, my damned nympho magic perked up at his masculine grin. Somehow, the fact I found him attractive even as I knew he was going to attempt to kill me seemed wrong. I bet he’s got a hard stake, my snide magic murmured in my mind with a lusty chuckle. Some people had an angel on one shoulder and a devil on the other as the voices of their conscience. Me, I had a whole legion of little devils and, while entertaining, they really made me question my sanity at times.

I swear Muriel is a riot! Oh and I can't forget the reason for Muriel's existence...Lucifer!! I loved that he's not a bad guy(per se)...he's a great dad and loves his daughter! They really had some funny ass moments:

“Seriously dad, would it have killed you to knock?” It wasn’t embarrassment that made me angry, but more the fact he’d ruined what I bet would have been some great morning nookie.

“My castle. My room. I can go wherever I want,” he snapped.

“Fine. Then I guess we’ll just leave.” Two could play this game. He narrowed his eyes at me.

“You’re testing my patience, Muriel.”

“And you’re getting on my last nerve,” I retorted. “Now, care to tell me why your thong is in a knot?”

“Ha. I stopped wearing underwear a hundred years ago,” my dad replied.

I really wish I woulda read this slower...it was soooo good! Once again Eve Langlais writes a funny, sexy tale that will leave your panties wet and tummy tickling!! A great ending to an awesome series by an author that is made of awesome!

*I received a free copy of [title] from [publisher] via Tantor Media. This has in no way influenced my voluntary review, which is honest and unbiased *Hell's Revenge is filled with a solid plot, mystery, suspense, some extreme hotness and lots of humor.

Review - (un)Conventional Bookviews
Story:
Hell's Revenge is a risqué story, in which Muriel lives with her two consorts, David and Auric. And because of her sex-based powers, she has to make sure she gets enough sex. Which definitely brought out both a lot of steam, and some much needed   to help with all the break-neck speed action.

Muriel finds out that she's pregnant. Her up-until-now unknown mother shows up unexpectedly to share the news with her, Lucifer, and the two dads. Not only does she inform them all about the pregnancy, she also explains to them that she needs the baby once it's born.

Hell's Revenge is a fast-paced story, and while there are many steamy scenes, there is plenty of action as well. And there is the mystery surrounding The One, who has been after Muriel for all the books in the series. Most loose ends are tied up in this story, and Muriel even attracts another lover to her menage. While I found the vampire to be intriguing, I never really got a chance to get to know him, as he wasn't present in that many scenes.
Characters:
Muriel - the ultimate princess of Hell. She's a strong woman, she knows how to fight, she knows how to stand up for herself and the people she loves. And she knows when to ask for help, too.

Auric is a fallen angel, and I totally fell for him in Lucifer's Daughter. He continues to be a favorite of mine, because he tries his best to do what is right - but only as long as his loved ones are safe.

David was great in this story, and I loved how he would not automatically take anyone's side in an argument. He carefully analyzed the situation and went for what would be best for all of them.
Writing style :
Hell's Revenge is told from Muriel's point of view, and I love her sassy inner dialogue. There are also both action scenes and dialogues that move the story forward at a rather fast pace.
Feels :
Both love and excitement, and quite a bit of anger on Muriel's behalf.
Narration:
Estrella did a great job with the narration! Her different voices made it easy to know who was talking, and I found her pace of speech to be perfect for Hell's Revenge.

Fave Quotes - (un)Conventional Bookviews

“No, my first question was actually ‘Do you want to die agonizingly or…well, really agonizingly?’ In my world, revenge wasn’t just approved of by my father; it was expected.”

“He’ll let you go when you can comport yourself as a lady.” I snorted. Like that would ever happen. “When Hell freezes over.” At his arched brow, I flushed and amended my statement, “Again.”

Great sex and a lot of fun. Eve does excellent job with writing the foursome, she has never came about a ménage this way before and I really enjoyed it. The sex includes anal play and sex so be prepared for some good sexy fun. There’s no m/m Eve is all about the woman.

This installment has a good story but I really wanted more development between Terivel and Muirel, I just really missed the connection between them like I got in the first two guys.

Lots of dirty times, and this time there is a third stranger lurking in the corners wanting in. Ok so yes when I started this series I though it would be romance, then it turned into a menage a trois, then, well a third guy shows up here. Because Muriel has nympho magic and wants all the d*beeeep*s.

Muriel is fun, kickass, look at me, attitude and all that jazz. She has a soulmate, a lover and yes she was against it all, but the beast inside her needs d*beeeeep*s, magic, I mean magic.

Anyway, her mum is back, her mother is Mother Earth. Whaat? Also, Muriel is preggo by her two lovers. Whaaaat? And there is still the Big Bad that is trying to mess with her and Lucifer.

Smexy times, yes, but also action because stuff is happening! I like it.

Estrella does a good job with Muriel and all her men. This is def a listening book

I am sad to see this series is over. It was super sexy and super funny. I enjoyed all the books so much!

So you must have noticed by now we are entering into a 4 some. While I was again a little nervous over this, when it came to sex time well it was freaking HOT! But my only complaint is that I just didn't feel like we had enough time before with Terivel to add him to the mix. Whie I found him sexy, I just did not know him. He only said like 4 sentences to Muriel before they got it on. Anyways moving on..

Muriel is just awesome! I love her. She is so funny and says the craziest things that just make me laugh. Her 2 lovers are extremely hot and totally devoted to her. I like that she got some one on one time with each of them. Then of coarse there is my all time favorite in the books Muri's daddy the devil himself. He is just so funny and sweet and man I love him! You really need to just read these books to understand this.

It was an action packed book, so much things happened and I loved every second of it. Eve Langlais is a must read author! Not many can pull off funny and sexy in a book but she always delivers!

Hell’s Revenge opens with an overlapping scene from the epilogue of the previous book, Snowballs in Hell in which Muriel discovers her mom is none other than Mother Nature, Gaia. Although she hasn’t visited Muriel since leaving her with her father as a small child, Gaia has returned to inform Muriel that she is pregnant, and both of her lovers at the fathers. Gaia intends to take the child from Muriel. There is so much for Muriel, her lovers, and her father to process, which takes them to Hell to get answers. Unfortunately, there is still the “big bad” after Muriel, and her life, along with her quickly growing unborn child, is in peril.

Hell’s Revenge continues the overall story arc about a mysterious, powerful force who is after Lucifer’s kingdom, brining the issue to a head. While the entire story felt short, it was entertaining, and I liked how it wrapped up the storyline. However, in retrospect, the dangers and motives behind the entire three-book plot line weren’t as sinister as they came off in the first book. Some of the events from previous two books don’t every tie into the conclusion of the plot line. Regardless, the story was enjoyable. There weren’t nearly as many graphic sex scenes, and the book focused on the overall plot.

One important event from Hell’s Revenge is that Muriel and her family learn more about her powers. Her magic is almost its own entity, and if it is depleted, it will seek out new sources of sex for facets of Muriel’s magic not being fed. For example, it sought out and connected with a vampire to feed the cold and dark part of her magic. Once the magic connects, it is permanent. What does this mean in the long run? More men in Muriel’s bedroom.

Once again, Rebecca Estrella provides the narration for the story. One thing that changed in Hell’s Revenge, is that there are parts of the story shared from both David and Auric’s point-of-views. Ms. Estrella uses the same general narrator voice for each character, while continuing to provide a unique voice when each speaks. Overall, her performance is good - with unique and fitting voices for all of the characters. She’s also improved her emotional content, making the story more gripping as she shares it. However it was a bit confusing to switch POVs yet continue to have the same narrator voice.

In the end, I enjoyed Hell’s Revenge, and it’s my favorite of the series to date. I liked the deepening explanations of Muriel’s magic and the need for sex. I also liked understanding how much both David and Auric mean to her. With the alternate POVs, we also learn how much that bond truly is three ways, back and forth. Hell’s Revenge has an end-of-the-series type feel, but the fourth book is already out, so I look forward to finding out what happens next for Muriel, Lucinda, and the gang.

Hell’s Revenge was a compelling finale to this fantastic trilogy.

Muriel is pregnant, and the child has two fathers…literally. But when her mum shows up to try and claim the child for herself, Muriel, who has never thought about ever having children up until now, refuses to relinquish her baby. Then the being who has been messing with Muriel for the last two books shows up to also stake a claim on the child, because if given the right upbringing it will have the power to destroy the world.

Muriel was once again an amazing character, she is strong but also has a way of seeming completely vulnerable about certain issues, and her character doesn’t ever mould to fit the scenario which is what I love about Langlais’ writing. Muriel is confronted with her mother, someone who she hasn’t known since she was five years old, and whom she has no memory of. Simultaneously she hates her mother for abandoning her and wants her love without ever showing it.

Langlais’ writing was masterful yet again. Her way of weaving the story, the relationship dynamic of a threesome and later foursome plus all of the comedy brought in by the hellish characters had me finishing this story way too quickly, her comedy writing rivals her smut with its laugh out loud quality. People like Muriel’s sister, Bambii, had only the single purpose of comic relief but it didn’t take away from their character at all, although Bambii only appeared for about a page, her story still has a way of sticking with you and making you want to read more into her life. For such a short appearance she had a very well-rounded character.

I will say once again as I have said before, that the whole idea of a permanent threesome relationship doesn’t really work for me, as addressed in the story numerous times Muriel’s soul mate is Auric, which leaves me feeling a little bad for the other two. That imbalance grates on me a little and I’m not completely sold on the concept, but the sex that Langlais wrote including the other two men was completely hot. If it was just that and no relationship part I’d love it.

For a novella I felt that this story had all the elements balanced perfectly, we weren’t bombarded with smut yet the story maintained a quick and action packed pace without missing out on any key fights or information.

Hell’s Revenge was an amazing read and a beautiful end to this whirlwind of a trilogy. Langlais has earned a spot on my watch list and I am making an effort to read everything she comes out with now because of this series.

In Hell’s Revenge, we have Muriel, her two men and her demonic lord of a father all sitting down for a cozy dinner. Until there is a knock on the door. It is quite the surprise when it is opened only to realize that it is a woman who is claiming to be Muriel’s mother and Mother Nature. Oh, and she wants Muriel’s unborn baby.

It is prophesied that Muriel’s child will bring about the end of the world. Muriel doesn’t even believe that she is pregnant and supposedly, both men are the father. How is that even possible? Muriel uses that as an excuse to put her head in the sand and deny that she is even pregnant.

She does go to meet with her father’s crone, Nefertiti. Who confirms the pregnancy and wants it aborted, because she is the one who had the prophecy that the end of the world will come. I guess the same was said before Muriel came into the world. However, there are people who want the child for the powers she will have. So, Lucifer sends a his best tracker to help protect her.

If you haven’t read the reviews of previous books in this series, Muriel’s powers are sex based. So when she uses all of her powers, they go searching for a refill and find Terivel the vampire. He gets added to the mix. I don’t know what I think of Terivel. He just doesn’t have much of a part in this book, even though he becomes a huge part of Muriel’s life as one of her lovers. We really don’t get the details of how things are going to go with the four of them together. Are they all going to live together with the daughter? When I read this years ago, I always felt that it was a little unfinished. There is a new book out now, so I hope we learn more in that book.

While, this book isn’t my favorite of this series romance wise. It was still a very fun story. It has many of the great chuckle worthy moments that I’ve come to expect from every Eve Langlais book. I’m really excited to see what the newest book in Muriel’s story has in store for us.

I almost stuck my tongue out in a childish gesture of triumph, but I restrained myself. Look at me, growing up and acting like an adult. Not!

Yeah, when hell freezes over. Oops. That had already happened. I really needed to come up with a new expression.

The final book in the trilogy and it didn't disappoint! I was unsure about the addition to her little threesome cause I worried about Auric and David, how they would feel about it, but in the end I think Tieval was the perfect addition (saying that I hope she doesn't add any more lovers as she doesn't need them like Nefertiti does to power her magic and she needs to leave some hot men for the rest of us! Lol!), he seemed to have grown on Auric and David at the end and they accepted him and in fact ended up encouraging Muriel to bring him into their little group!
We also get to meet her daughter and I have to say the little we seen of Lucinda, I like that little girl! I'm slightly disappointed not to have more from Muriel but no doubt we'll at least get updates in any books featuring Lucifer and it was a good place to end the trilogy! I'd recommend this series, it was funny, sexy and addictive!

Now wasn't that just bloody perfect? And I really do mean bloody although I have to agree with Lucifer that it wasn't much of a fight...I expected better from Lilith. More thunder and stuff, I don't know. Poor Lilith. I don't think she fought much because she expected her immortality to save her, I think if she had known Muriel's plan she would have screamed and scratched her way to freedom.
One disappointing fact was the vampire, or better, the lack of more regarding him. I would have liked to have known him better just like we did with Auric and David. The same for Lucinda. She was safe and powerful, that's all we get. A perfect little princess ending though. A pink bow would've been the cherry on the top of Muriel's cake for sure!

I liked it. It was a fast paced read that had action.
My only complaint being that it was too short! I felt satisfied in the completion of the series. Muriel is happily settled down with her hunky partners, she decided not to kill her Mum and she's having a baby! I enjoyed every Laugh out loud moment.

Come on over to Eve's Entourage to check out everything else Eve

5 stars.

Didn't think the sex could get any hotter but it did.

The plot also became better. And I LOVED the plot of this book.

We got to see more of David. I didn't really feel the connection between Muriel and David before. But in this book we got to see more of their interactions and David got more lines. And we actually got to see how they feel about each other.

I also loved Auric and loved the fact that Auric and Muriel's relationship doesn't change with David in the mix. In this book a vampire was also added to the mix. We don't see much of him but there were a few foursomes. However, despite all this, Auric and Muriel's relationship doesn't change, neither does David's.

We also got to read a POV from Auric and another from David which was new and I hope to read more from their POV's.

3.5 Stars I'm rounding up for love of the characters. They all really make me smile. The entertainment factor comes from the characters where as I felt like the story suffered a little more than in the past and got rushed through. We got quick highlights of action but it pushed through to quickly through each moment to really appreciate them all. We finally got the reveal of the Big Bad we've been dealing with and the ending felt a bit anticlimactic. Wish we'd gotten to know our new vampire a bit better too. Still I was entertained throughout and I like Muriel and her boys.

I have submitted this review after listening to the audiobook of this title within the series set box. (Audible Membership)

The idea of our Princess from Hell having a child was as scary for her as it is to this reader.
However, motherly instinct is a very strong emotion that will overcome great adversity to ensure a child's welfare.

Awe - I can't believe it's over!! I want 3 more books of the Princess of Hell! Lol

This was my favorite of the 3 books (and I determined that before the four-some :)

There was so much humor in this, I can't even count my LOL moments. There were so many :) Between Lucifer, and Muriel's every day chaos going on in her head - lol I just love the way she thinks, and her mind gets off the subject and goes towards a totally different topic for no reason :)

The book starts off where the last one left off - Muriel's mom (Gaia, aka - Mother Earth ) interrupts dinner and announces that Muriel's pregnant - and of course, Muriel tries to kill her :)

Muriel doesn't want to believe that her mother of all people was right, so she goes over to her father's Mage (Nefertiti) - the one that has been helping her with her nympho magic. Just before she gets there, a big group of demon's attack, and she uses up her magic to kill them.. but then another group of demons show up,and she has no choice but to turn tail and run.. but she runs right into .. of all things, a Vampire - and this vampire, as sexy as he is - is also scary, vampires are dangerous , but luckily for Muriel, he wants to protect her. Her empty magic had somehow called him to her. After he kicks Demon butt, he gives her a kiss, and although her moral side of her knows it's wrong, her magic doesn't want to let go of him..
But just in time for David and Auric to pop in, she gets her head back in the game and off he goes...

Roflol - back at Nefertiti's house, she has naked men all over her house and with Muriel walking in with Auric's hands over her eyes and David growling at everyone in their way - lol but they do run off to speak with a few of the men to get some pointers to help please Muriel a little differently. After all, when Muriel's magic is stronger, it makes their whole family stronger - awe -

But she confirms the pregnancy and tells her that the daughter Muriel is carrying could destroy the world. She has so much power inside Muriel right now, even though she is only the size of her thumb.
but this child is growing very fast and her pregnancy will be very short.

So Muriel has a lot to think about - save the baby and kill the world, or kill the baby and save the world... ha ya - right, no pressure

So now we're dealing with Muriel's pregnancy, her new Vampire admirer (whom David and Auric don't even know about yet) Her mother, and the evil master that was controlling Gabrielle in the last book -
With all these things going on - it's no wonder why Muriel needs to re-charge her magic so often *yummy*
Great story with lots of twists and turns and surprises , and the fun humor is just the added bonus :)
Who knows, maybe we'll get lucky and Eve Langlais will write about "Lucifer's granddaughter" next :) Or maybe and his life with Mother Nature – the part he doesn’t remember :)

★★★★+ "Welcome to Hell, how may we damn you today" - Lucifer's receptionist.

Muriel is having a child by both her lovers, it was Muriel's long lost and unknown mother who dropped the bomb. And their baby girl will be born with powers that can destroy Heaven, Hell and everything in between. A fact that makes the child coveted by several enemies of Lucifer. You would think these facts would make Muriel slow down and take care of herself. Well, as usual that is not the case. The princess Of Hell is as stubbornly independent as ever. And who can blame her really, when her punishments are so deliciously sexy;-) But when she yet again finds herself in danger, without her lovers close by, she Is rescued by a mysterious, fanged stranger with a sexy smile, who clearly covets the spot as her third lover...

....Which is just what Nefertiti ordered, to strenghten Muriel's magic further. That, and anal sex;-P Oh, my, Nefertiti's castle sounds like a dream for any heterosexual woman. Besides, Auric's jealousy was priceless. A good thing Nefertiti's harem boys were willing to share their techniques with team Muriel. (for future "punishments", of course. *wink, wink*) Someone, give me a fan! I feel like sinning;-)

The stage is set for a final confrontation, and mr. tall, dead and fanged turns out to be an excellent tracker. (Lucifer's best.) which is a food thing since the person hellbent on revenge is someone from Lucifer's past that is still pissed at him. I really think he deserved his spot in Muriel's little foursome. (Well, that's hardly a spoiler, now is it?)

As usual, the humor was top notch, some of my favorite quotes are listed under "progress". But I do believe the until you cry uncle was my favorite. You know you have done your father proud when you're a princess of Hell and Satan thinks you sin too much. Yay for hellish HEAs.

I could have read several more books about Muriel, her men, daughter, grudgingly doting grandfather and long lost mother, but I will just have to wait until Eve publishes her next Welcome to Hell novella. (Since I was stupid enough to read them out of order.)

Overall, a really good four star series.

As if wanting to strangle my birth mother isn't enough, once again, someone is messing with my life and a new player steps in to save me. Did I mention my dark knight is tall, gorgeous and fanged? Just don't tell my lovers because apparently they're not willing to share me with the undead.

The final showdown with the mysterious figure—also known as the major pain in my ass—fast approaches. I don't care how powerful they are. They screwed up big time when they took something precious of mine. It's never a good idea to piss off this Princess of Hell because revenge is my middle name.

Hell's Revenge is another fantastic adventure for Muriel, Satan’s sweet and sassy daughter. I love this character and the author who created her and I was not disappointed by this installment. I enjoyed catching up with all the beloved characters from the past including her father and lovable and wanton sister. I loved the new bad guy and getting to meet mommy. I adore the vampire addition to Muriel’s men. Our feisty heroine is as sarcastic and impulsive as ever and of course she is acting first and thinking later which provides lots of action and exploits for me! The sex scenes are steamy and fun with just the perfect amount of sarcasm and wit. The tone and skill in this story helps to cement why Eve Langlais has a solid spot on my must-read list.

Hell's Revenge continues where Snowballs in Hell left off. Princess of Hell Muriel has been restrained by her lover after she tried to kill her mother who abandoned her when she was young. What's more shocking than her mother's reappearance is the news she has come to deliver. Muriel refuses to believe what her mother has to say and seeks answers in the underworld. What she learns surprises her and with her lovers at her side, Muriel starts preparing for the final fight against the rogue demons and their mysterious master who wish to get their hands on what she loves most.

Muriel, Auric and David are back and are dealing with what her mothers reappearance means and the news she brought with her. In true Muriel style, she sneaks off on her own to the underworld for answers and meets the very handsome vampire Teivel who is able to connect with the dark side of Muriel that David and Auric can't. Her lovers are not happy about the fanged newcomer but they understand that Murial's magic comes from sex and at times she will have different needs. I wasn't sure that I'd like the new addition but there are only small doses of Teivel and when he was involved, it worked with what was happening in the story at that time.

Everything involving the cloaked figure that's been after Muriel and the mystery surrounding her mother is all revealed and wrapped up in the final chapter of the Princes of Hell series. The relationship between Muriel and her lovers is sweet and oh so hot. I couldn't help being a bit jealous of Muriel. Her hilarious father Satan is also back and is as inappropriate as ever. The only issue I had worth mentioning is I found the ending to be a bit rushed for all the build up. I know this is a novella but I was kind of hoping for more during what I thought was going to be a big battle. Despite my issue I still enjoyed this one. Hell's Revenge is a sexy romp and a great way to end a series that I'll definitely come back to.

Keep in mind that this is an adult book, and there are explicit details!
Hell's Revenge is the final book in the Princess of Hell series.

It continues where Snowballs in Hell left off. In the final installment of The Princess of Hell series Muriel's mom drops in and tells her she's pregnant by her two boyfriends. She also wants to claim Muriel's child for herself.

It was an action packed book, so much things happened. The relationship between Muriel and her lovers is sweet and hot. The ending was a bit rushed.

Despite my issue I still enjoyed this one. Hell’s Revenge was a good read and a beautiful end to this trilogy.

So I think I liked this one more than the previous one. But I still don't like Muriel. She's very selfish. EXTREMELY selfish. In the book she literally talks about how selfish she is.
She's also kinda dumb. Not necessarily in a too stupid to live sort of way (well occasionally), but in a doesn't-know-who-Lilith is type way and that sort of thing.

Her immediate love/hate of her mother was annoying "bitch I hate you, let me literally try to kill you", then 5 seconds later "oh but mommy I love you!"

It was annoying.

Auric once again I liked.
David, the same.

the new guy, whose name is escaping me... ehh he really didn't get any character development at all. And where was the wizard friend of Auric and David's? He was literally non existent in this book.

Kind of glad this series is over and done, I've found myself enjoying the Welcome to Hell series more so far. (Mostly because it's not all about Muriel.)

Hell Hath No Fury!

Muriel is pregnant with a powerful little girl & several people would like to use that power & try to take Lucinda Bambi (yes that is what they named her, mostly Muriel's idea) away from her family.

Muriel also finds another sex partner in this book & he's a vampire named Teviel (I think that I spelled his name right) & she finds him in Hell.

Muriel also finds out who her mother is & that's a shocker too as her mother is Mother Nature/Gaia. Gaia is the person who broke the new to Muriel, Auric, David & Lucifer that Muriel was pregnant; then Gaia filled that up by telling Muriel that she wanted the baby. Which of course didn't go down well with them.

This book was excellent as it answered lots of questions, had lots of sex scenes, fighting scenes & the good vs bad plot. But, you will have to read it for yourself to find out what those answers are as I don't like giving all of story away.

How does Eve Langlais keep this imagination in her head without it leaking into reality – she puts it on paper and allows us to view the results!

Wonderful; this series has been an ultimate entertainment source and this, book 3 in the series, does not let the reader down.

Muriel is wonderful, entertaining and phenomenally addictive; her interactions between other characters in the book – her urge to kill her mother amongst others are amazing.

The book description explains the story fully, so I will just say that anyone having already read Eve Langlais novels will adore this latest instalment. Others new to Langlais will not be disappointed – if the book description catches you eye or takes your fancy, give it a try.

So very worth the risk of getting addicted to her novels!

So I was a little disappointed at this ending. I love the characters in these books; they're so entertaining and likeable. But I feel that Muriel was very immature in this book (she always has been but it was much more in this book). I felt like the book flew by! They're always short but I felt it lacked creativity.

I was kinda annoyed that Muriel didn't know who Gaia and Lilith were. Is it just me or did she seem niave? I even know who those women are, I mean come on.

I also didn't see a purpose to the vampire. He was sexy and what not but his part was very minuscule. He barely spoke and I don't think his part was necessary.

I'm happy that the ending was good. I wish it could have been more in depth, especially with Gaia. Oh well. loved the series :-)

I received a copy of the new updated release from the author in exchange for an honest review.

Finding out who your mother is after over 20 years is one thing, but then to have her inform you you're pregnant and she wants the baby, another thing entirely. Her men over the moon, Muriel is trying to deal with the fact she's expecting. But the mysterious cloaked figure is back for more and Muriel and her men don't have time to daydream about their news.

Muriel is back and still as tough as ever, even with the pregnancy hormones wreaking havoc on her emotions. Another giggling fun read, with lots of steamy down time. Also the addition of a new member to their little family. What's a girl to do?
