When Priscilla sees a small plane go down over the marsh, she immediately calls 911. But the authorities insist no distress calls were made, and no planes were reported missing. When she finally locates the downed craft, she discovers that the pilot has vanished, and all signs indicate he wanted to disappear. What was on that plane that the pilot was so desperate to hide? Priscilla sets out to solve the mystery—and soon finds herself enmeshed in a plot that might prove too dangerous even for her. Meanwhile, when Gerald asks Priscilla to put together an Easter egg hunt at the Coast Guard station, she looks forward to working with him on it. But the reality doesn’t match her expectations as the ever-more-complicated project drives a wedge between them

Priscilla sees a plane come down into the woods. Nobody else sees it, and some think she was seeing things. Think they'd know better by now.

Priscilla investigates, while trying to organize an Easter egg hunt.

This was an interesting mystery about a crashed plane on the island. I liked this one a lot! I guessed the missing pilot about 1/2 in the story, but the why and what stumped me a little. I really liked that Rachel and AJ had significant parts in this story. Priscilla has some hurt feelings from Gerald, but that is resolved at the end.

This time it's March on Martha's Vineyard. The story involves a plane crash, a drone, drugs, theft, an Easter egg hunt, and Chappaquiddick. There is a also delicious sounding cookies, but they aren't important to the story. The Easter egg hunt sounded fun, and the mystery was interesting. It took a couple of turns, and I was surprised by the way it ended.

Not as good as the other books in the series. Too farfetched. Nice ending though.

I don't like the way Beth Adams portrays Priscilla. She has written at least two other Mysteries and she always makes Priscilla out to be moody and reckless. Granted she does take chances and doesn't always listen to Gerald. In this book Priscilla sees a private plane crash on her way to the Coast Guard Station. When she tells Gerald he doesn't believe her because after checking several sources there is no record of a plane filing a flight plan, or showing up on radar. So Priscilla gets "pissed" at Gerald. She is at the Coast Guard Station to help with an Easter Egg Hunt. Seems the CG needs to improve their image with the citizens and they think this would be a good idea. Except she finds out she won't be working with Gerald, she will be working with a young lady whom Gerald has recruited for the job. Again, like a teenager she gets angry and gives Gerald the cold shoulder.

Of course, Priscilla knows all the places to look and finds out who the pilot is, and whose plane it is, and were it took off from. Beth Adams makes the police on Martha's Vineyard seem like a bunch of incompetents who could never solve a mystery. The police are suppose to be investigating stolen drugs from the hospital, but along the way it turns into a search for stolen antiquities, so the FBI is called in and who other than Rachel's fiance' A.J.

Priscilla is bold and goes where she shouldn't but in the end she always solves the mystery, except who stole the drugs from the hospital. Don't know why that story line was added?

Priscilla continues to up the stakes and puts herself deeper in danger in this story in which she spots a small plane going down into the woods. But no one believes her and there is no proof that a small plane was even in the air. Worse, Gerald doesn't believe her and instead, tries to steer her away from looking farther into the mystery. Like that is going to happen! Priscilla deals with smugglers, A.J. and Rachel's wedding and planning an Easter egg hunt with an over-eager newbie Coast Guarder.

Of all of the 25 books in this series, this is my least favorite. I felt that a lot of Gerald's actions were so out of character. I almost stopped reading this series, because I hated it so much.
