The mafia always has their secrets. This one is flesh and blood.

Stealing a yacht from the Russian mob is complicated and dangerous enough. I had no idea that there was a captive on board, hidden within the walls of a red room that would make even the hardest Alpha Dom pause.

We’re in the middle of the Black Sea, with the mafia breathing down our necks. There’s no going back. I’ll protect her from the men who kidnapped her, but I won’t let my guard down. I’m not going to get her hurt.

And I’m not going to let her go.

I had a very different book in mind when I started reading.

The beginning was cool and I enjoyed it, but from the 50% mark the story just went downhill.

I'm not a huge fan of insta-insta-love. Or virgin heroines. But when the story gets my attention, then I can easily overlook these things. This wasn't the case here.

The Hero, a 40 year old Russian (yay!) was great. I liked that he wasn't hung up on the idea of being the first for the Heroine. He just found her very cool and wanted to be together with her. To protect her, whatever it'll take. A bit possessive, but loving.

My problems started with the Heroine. She's 21, a virgin. She has been kidnapped but didn't so much as blink at the thought. It was all like "wow here I am, what do I do? Oh, here comes my rescuer. He's kinda hot. All right, lets have sex with him. One day after being "rescued"." She didn't even question how and why she would be kidnapped. Just accepted it.

The story was just way overboard and very far away from reality. They get into "daddy/babygirl" from the go, she calls him "sir" even when not in the bedroom and he goes shopping for jewelry and clothes for the Heroine, while on the run from mean mafia guys. They're running from their lives! But for him her comfort is on the forefront of his mind.

Then they wine and dine in Italy, switch boats and after some drama arrive in NY. And then they get married. After 1 week of knowing each other. With no discussion about the future they would like to have.

Then the great "happy end"happens, sailing from port to port and spending the nights in luxus hotels and ordering room service and basically never leaving said rooms. They turn into (rich) hermits. She doesn't continue with her studies, he doesn't search for work. Because money isn't a problem. And then of corse, Baby alarm! THE END

This would've been way better if the story had some sort of "reality". And lets not forget the many "flowery" words that were used to describe "flowery bodyparts". It was just weird.

So 2 stars from me.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I love Alexis's mob men!
In her latest thrill chasing, dark romance the man who has stolen my attention is Vladimir, a stealthy Russian whose pulled away from mob thats dealings go beyond what he considers right, and thats saying something.
Making his point clear to the Gregorovitchs family, he takes one last memento on his way out of Russia, the boss' luxury Yacht, where he gets more than he anticipated, and a dangerous, all-consuming life-altering trip.
Phew!
Ms. Abbott turned up the thrills and chills then blanketed us with heat in Trafficked!
Vladimir and Autumn are a combustible pair!
Tension blended with passion; dark times combined with protection, heartache blended seamlessly with love.
The fast-paced, plot twisted story of darkness against protection, passion, and hope was a spectacular display of feels- one that I thoroughly enjoyed!
Once again, Alexis Abbott takes us on an intense, sexy mobbed-up journey that you won't want to miss!

I don’t know how many times I’ve reread this but I’m not stopping anytime soon! ❤️

Vladimir is sick of the Russian Mafia - he’s cutting ties once and for all. Stealing their yacht and sailing to America was the last step in his plan but he never expected a random stowaway. Autumn has been on her own for years, all she wanted to do was to complete her studies in Russia. Being kidnapped throws all those plans away. She didn’t expect the older man to show her any kindness but he’s proven her wrong at every turn. Now what?

Vlad.. 😍 Where can I find one of him?! He’s tough, dominant, and super protective of Autumn, it’s beautiful to see. They don’t start off on the right foot, of course, but quickly realize the other isn’t a threat and can be trusted. I loved everything about their relationship and story. The fact that he gives her a choice is so sweet, you could feel his emotion. Autumn is so sweet and loving. They’re absolutely perfect for each other.

Tropes:
- age gap
- daddy kink
- praise
- touch her and d!e
- virgin FMC

After taking care of the men who thought they could send an assassin after him because he wouldn’t comply, Vladimir takes a yacht, but he didn’t expect to find the terrified woman, stunned by her beauty and her fate now in his hands.
Finally discovered, the man she sees is different from the others, he looks dressed to kill and straight from a romance novel, she wants to devour. For some reason she knows Vladimir sees through her and really sees her, she feels safer around him and he promises he will protect her, but she can’t go back to Russia or the men will find her and she’s coming to America with him.
The more time he spends with her he knows he likes having her around, he wants to protect her and keep her with him. He feels overly protective of her, the way she responds to him, he knows she likes it, he wants to keep her at his side and knows he’s going to show her just how much he will protect her, he didn’t get all the Bratva and they will come for her, but he knows he won’t let anyone take her from him now he’s found her.

This was a good fast pace steamyish read.. i have read maybe 1 or so book from Alexis and it was pretty good so i jumped at another that seem interesting for me.

I enjoyed the book very much Vlad was a great hero he wasn't to OTT he was a perfect alpha protective, possessive and a badass taking on Mafias men and other randoms in this book loved every second of it. What annoyed me was Autumn moments she did have the will to fight heck she was kidnapped so she started off wanting to escape and get away from who did this to her when she met Vladimir she did put up a fight asked the right questions ran at one point.. but stopped few hours later already trusting this random Russian stranger.. so earned some "lord girl what happened to you" lol beside that they were having it easy for ppls laying low on the mafia radar.. wouldn't it be harder to hide from the Mafia?? And we do have a few daddy kink just the name daddy lol so nothing to extreme.. also sad their is no epilogue..

Low angst, No cheating, drama, sexy times, not a manwhore & virgin gal

A great book!!
This is Autumn's and Vladimir's story. Autumn is a young American girl who is on a scholarship in Russia. She loves everything she has read about Russian history and their writers be it history or poetry. She is alone though and nobody to look for her if she was to disappear, and she does. But why? Was it just that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time or something more sinister?
Vladimir is, or should I say was a hitman with the Russian mafia. The part of the mafia he was with has mostly been killed off by a new mob boss who has taken over and wants all that is left to join him or die. After one tries to kill him he in turn kills off most of the leaders of the new mafia and steals his new yatcht and decides to head off to America.
After setting sail Vladimir and Autumn end up traveling together. How they came to be together and what they went through is what you need to read and find out.

Due to a lot of sexy times recommended for adults only.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review.

Oh my holy gosh. This book will blow you away. I had so much fun reading it and had to tell myself to get off the edge of my seat before I fell off of it. This is my favorite kind of romance. A dark on. I love dark book and Trafficked does not disappoint. This is the story of Vladimir who is a Russian who hass pulled himself away from the mob and the dealings that they dished out that he can not deal with it and decides to leave. However on his way out he decides to take the bosses luxury yacht. What he didn't expect to find in that yacht is Autumn who has been stolen from her own life and in a red room that would freak out the most experienced Dom. This book is absolutely amazing and I loved every single second of it. You don't want to miss this one.

In my opinion Alexis Abbott did not disappoint but I did have a problem with what Autumn called Vladimir. I know this is my problem but it creeped me out, so it lost a star for that. Sorry! Alexis Abbott had suspense, action and darkness in Trafficked. Alexis Abbott grabbed my attention in the beginning and kept through out. In my opinion Alexis Abbott knows how to write mafia stories and knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat turning the pages. There was lots of action. Alexis Abbott did throw a twist with Vladimir I did not see coming, so well done on that. Overall I loved Trafficked but wished that Autumn did call Vladimir the one thing. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced readers copy.

This is an absolutely captivating story.

Loved this story. It has wonderful characters and a great storyline. Vladimir is taking off on a luxury yacht after taking care of some business. He just didn't know he had a kidnapped woman in the walls of the yacht. Autumn is being held cative, only she has no idea by whom or why. When Vladimir finds her they are both thrown for a loop, because neither of them knows what to think of the other. With the people who kidnapped Autumn chasing them, they find themselves trying to survive. Can Autumn trust Vladimir? Does Vladimir even care what happens to Autumn? Grab this beautiful story and find out what happens! It's a great read and I definitely recommend it!

Trafficked is a fantastic story that will completely blow you away from the beginning and keep you captivated until you read the last word.

Autumn is an American student who is kidnapped by the Bratva, and rescued by Vladimir who will protect her by any means. This is a well written story which had me intrigued and enthralled throughout, with plenty of drama, thrills, twists, suspense, passion, and is an intense and gritty read. I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend for all.

Yup, you guessed it...dibs. I love Alexis Abbott’s alpha’s...claimed them all, because I’m stingy af. Clearly, I don’t feel a bit sorry about this, but that’s just me, the Alexis Abbott alpha collector. She has so graciously created my reverse harem of hitmen. I just keep collecting them....all.

This was a great book, full of action and suspense. Vladimir takes out a lot of the Russian Bratva and takes a fancy ass yacht, that just so happens to have a kidnapped girl on it. These two have a great journey trying to keep her safe and out run the remaining Bravta members. The Bravta wants Autumn bad and they are persistent, which makes for an interesting and great read.

This was a safe read, no om or ow drama, well a little om drama is a part of the storyline. We have a kidnapped virgin and the sexy af daddy savior. Older man, younger woman. Daddy play. These two were hot af with a shit ton of baby batter and an hea. If you’re looking for a sexy daddy hit man and his pampered virgin book with a ton of action/suspense...surprise...you found it.

Sensuous, fast-paced, dark, and STEAMY that will DELIGHT and ENTERTAIN for hours! MUST-BUY!!
An OUTSTANDING beginning to a new series, “TRAFFICKED,” author Alexis Abbott’s newest novel will curl readers’ toes while enticing them to sail away with Autumn and Vladimir in their page-turning escape from the Russian Bratva (Russian Mafia). Autumn is a quirky American student, kidnapped by the Bratva, thrown into a dark room, and is then released by Vladimir who promises that he will protect her with his life. Then he gets to prove that promise over, and over again. The question is . . . will he be enough when the Bratva send team after team to recapture Autumn? “TRAFFICKED” is incredibly exciting and impossible to put down. This reader fell asleep with my Kindle on my chest and woke up to read the conclusion of this marvelous novel. Author Alexis Abbott has this amazing talent to offer her readers just the right amount of information to keep them glued to the tome (As my “sleeping with my Kindle” 😏 would indicate, LOL!) If you like fast paced-stories where broken characters find not only solace but healing in each other’s arms, then “TRAFFICKED” is the book for you! Wonderfully written, with tremendous characters and a complex and compelling plot, “TRAFFICKED” will provide readers with hours of entertainment and STEAM! Perfectly timed as January is National Slavery and Human Trafficking Prevention Month, “TRAFFICKED” also promotes the awareness of Human trafficking and sexual slavery in the most palatable way possible. I voluntarily read a copy of “TRAFFICKED” and this is my honest, voluntary 5-STAR review. Purchase your copy of this amazing novel today! You will be so glad you did. Happy pages! 😉

Vladimir and Autumn.

Two dark, passionate souls brought together by chance… or possibly fate.

Author Alexis Abbott quickly creates two multidimensional main characters, and the process by which did this was remarkably seamless. Rarely do I feel this connected to or knowledgeable about the romantic leads right from the start. That said, knowing there was a significant age difference between the two never stood out to me, or seemed the least bit unnatural in this pairing in any way. The only time I would knowingly be aware of it was when Vladimir donned his protective shield, whether that was making Autumn remain secured away on the yacht when he made a supply run, or applying his experience to save the day. She may have called him “Daddy,” but that was the one element that could potentially have been more extensively developed for full play.

What else did I really enjoy about this story?

• The action/drama scenes were original and exciting. There was absolutely nothing lackluster about the robustness of these scenes.
• The sex scenes could have been used to replace a plotline, but instead – minus the story-based ones – it was left to the reader’s imagination so the story could continue evolving organically.
• Trafficked offers a solemn glimpse into the human trafficking trade, if nothing else showing that it can happen to anyone.
• The characters were intellectually compatible.
• The wedding scene – brilliant! It was so “them.”
• Story was well-paced and a fast, satisfying read.

Trafficked is a steady-paced romantic drama with two intelligent and interesting main characters, edgy action and drama, and laced with steamy seduction. It is a satisfying read.

Okay I am fairly new to this author but have read a couple of her books in the past that I really liked so when I read the blurb about this one and the price was right I thought "why not". Here is why not....The female was to stupid to be real. Didn't seem all that concerned that she had been kidnapped or why. Then enter Vlad and the next thing I know they are going at it like teenagers????? I know that most authors have people who read their books just to look for errors and I know things can be missed and I can overlook a good bit but this one slapped me in the face so much that I went back to make sure I had not misread the sentence. In chapter 7 it says "He pushes me back for a moment to pull off his shirt, baring his chest making it easier for me to get to his wound" Then in chapter 8 it says as they were getting hot and heavy "I slowly pull my sweater and shirt off revealing a hard set of abs and muscular chest under the fabric". Thought that shipped had already sailed. That kind of error pulls me out of the book to the point that I have a hard time getting back into it. All in all everything in this book just happened too quick for me. I mean come on, lose virginity, fall in love and married all in one week then BAM baby on board. This book was not for me!!

The story of Autumn and Vladimir is an instant attraction, quick to fall in love, younger woman/older man, virgin, "Daddy" romance. It is filled with action, danger, and suspense as it revolves around the Russian Mafia. I liked Vladimir. He was an alpha male who instantly felt a need to be Autumn's protector. Overall, it was a quick read and I liked it. However, there were a few things that kept me from giving it five stars. The first is that Autumn is supposedly a virgin. Although, you wouldn't know it if she hadn't mentioned it in her inner dialogue. Even the moment of her and Vladimir coming together for the first time didn't hint to her status. The other is the title. I feel it is a little misleading. Yes, Autumn was kidnapped by men who are in the horrible business of human trafficking, but Autumn was never "trafficked". Like I said, overall, I thought the story was good. It's just that titles that don't match up to storylines, or even cover models that don't look anything like character descriptions, are pet peeves of mine.

“Bad guy” as a Rescuer – Captivating Read!!

Vladimir ‘removes’ a threat. Having seen the car bomb they set for him, he needs an alternate ride… the keys he finds is for a luxury yacht; perfect for his escape to the US. The yacht has every feature known to man – including a special someone.

Autumn is on a scholarship to study Russian literature. She doesn’t really remember how she came to be locked in the dark room. When a Russian she has not seen before opens the door – why should she trust him? “Autumn wobbles a little, looking at me dubiously, jaw tight, her gaze and face so defiant. This girl has a special kind of spirit and willpower, and I would be lying if I said it doesn’t intrigue me”.

A scintillating romance blooms as Vladimir’s protective nature comes out. “I won’t take from you what you do not offer,” he growls - - “and what if I offer you everything?” I whisper breathlessly. An exciting chase in exotic locales, full of danger and romance. I highly recommend this story!!

I'm sad to say that this particular book didn't work for me in the same way that Alexis Abbott's other books have worked for me, so this is the very first time I am giving out less than 5 stars so far in all her books I have read.
I did go into it having read the disclaimer that it has "Daddy" play in it - and I tried it, but I'm afraid that sort of thing just isn't for me. The book, in general, is good though, the age difference -not very clear on it, but seems to be about 18-20 years, she's 21 and his age was not revealed apart from him thinking he's old enough to be her father and her thinking he's about 38ish, but I think he's about 40-41. The age difference, however, does not bother me at all, I felt he was a really good character and they fitted well together.
As I said the "daddy" words just destroyed it for me every time sadly.

So unlike many of her other books, which I have picked up and read again, this one will stay a one time read.

I really enjoyed this story!

Vladimir and Autumn's story is a Wilde pulse pounding ride from the first chapter to the last. I couldn't put it down and finish the book in one sitting. The funny thing is I'm not super in to mafia centric stories but something called to me when I read the description of this one so I took a chance. It was a chance I'm so thrilled I took. Vladimir is a perfect scared world weary alpha male who decided enough is enough and is willing to do what ever be must to get out. Autumn is young, with an old soul. Life hasn't always been kind but she smart, loyal and dedicated. A scholar at heart. She disappears one evening while one a year long collage exchange in Russia. She ends up held captive in a rich Bratva leaders yacht. This is where her dark savior finds her, this is where they lives become totally entwined and nothing and I mean nothing will come between them. Any more detail and I'd give it all away,, suffice to say it's action packed, passionate and we'll worth the read. I really want a sexy alpha male of my very own 💖💖💖

This is another great mob story by Alexis! This one is about Vladimir who makes his mark on leaving Russia with a bang and taking a yacht belonging to his enemy. With all his money Valdimir makes his was to America to start a new life and while on his journey he finds Autumn in a locked room on the yacht as a Kidnapped victim. Autumn is a young college student who was studying Russian literature in Russia and was kidnapped and Vladimir is an older man who has seen and done unsavory things to survive his entire life. Autumn has a strong connection and feels very safe with Vladimir and he is very patient with her. They start a relationship with Autumn being submissive and Valdimir is falling for her and what they have. Valdimir will not let any harm come to her and he will do whatever is necessary to keep her safe! With those chasing after Autumn will Valdimir be able to keep his promise to Autumn? When Vladimir steals a luxury yacht from the Russian head mob boss, he doesn’t expect an extra passenger on board. Autumn has been held in a dark room for a while, not knowing why she has been kidnapped or what’s going to happen to her. When Vladimir finds her, she is wary that he won’t hurt her, she struggles and Vladimir does everything he can to calm Autumn down. As they sail across the seas to get away from Russia, the two get close but the Russian mob is still after them....can they make it.
A great great fast paced read that opens with some action and blood, that kept me glued to the pages. These two spark up the pages and I LOVED their instant connection, his protectiveness and her opening up, blossoming with him. The story has it all, action, suspense, lust/love, steam, some twists and an ending that had me smiling from ear to ear.

Another intense action adventure from Ms. Abbott. Vladimir is a man who did what he had to do. Growing up was not ideal and he was exposed to a lot of unsavory things which brought him to where he is today, working for men that he loathes. However, that is all about to change. What he does not factor into the equation is the stowaway, Autumn, that he finds on the yacht who was being held against her will. Despite all of his reservations about the woman, he feels compelled towards her and will protect her. For all that Autumn has had to deal with in her life, she is taken aback by Vladimir but the more time she spends with him, she learns to trust. The chemistry between them is unquestionable but is she a risk that Vladimir is willing to take on? This is one well written, raw, and gripping storyline filled with unexpected twists and turns.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Wow, this book is action packed, thrilling ride of adventure, suspenseful, deliciously sexy and steamy all rolled into one. Vladimir is sexy, strong, wanting out of the mafia and takes matters into his own hands and stumbles upon the beautiful, sexy, Autumn. Danger is following them and she has no memory of how she ended up where Vladimir found her. Scared and not knowing who he is, is her there to kill her? Hurt her? After some convincing she believes he's not there to harm her, and the spark between them is so hot, that he won't be able to stop once he touches her. There's a reason she's was taken, Vladimir just needs to figure it out. Why is Autumn so important and to whom? I'll leave you with that, no spoilers. Loved it, and I highly recommend this book.

Autumn worked very hard for the scholarship that sends her to Russia to study. She hasn't been in the country for 24 hours when she is kidnapped. Vladimir has eliminated the men that were planning his death, and is using the mob boss's yacht to make his escape from Russia. Vladimir isn't exactly shocked when he discovers the young woman that has been held captive in a secret room on the yacht, and will do his best to protect her from the men searching for her. Autumn isn't sure she should trust Vladimir, but he will save her from the men hunting for her in order to turn her over to the man that was holding her prisoner.
Action packed, suspenseful plot with sexy, and well written characters. Fantastic, happily ever after romance. Loved it!
