This book for soon-to-be siblings doesn't appear on many lists, but it's really good for small children. It touches on the good and bad things about how life changes when there's a new baby in the family without dwelling on the downsides or details of anatomy too much. It consists of a series of black and white photographs and the text tells the story from a little boy's point of view. The pictures in the library's 1982 edition are a bit dated (love those bowl cuts!), but biology and family relationships are still the same.
