Humans and Creatures. That's what mankind has come to. Some humans were locked up as infants and genetically altered for the purpose of making a stronger specie, and now their offspring have to be tested to see if they are safe to put out into the real world.
Having been locked up in secure facility all of his life, Charlie is to be the first Creature to step outside into the real world. New to the world and to humans who aren't trying to poke a needle in him, he's scared as to what it has to offer. But also curious.
Assigned to watch the first Creature and introduce him into modern world, Carly has gotten quite the job. He is like a giant 6'7 baby, and she has to teach him everything from eating with cutlery, to learning natural human behavior, to understanding such a difficult thing as love. He was just supposed to be an assignment, but the more time her and Charlie spend together, the more Carly had to admit he was so much more than just a Creature.
Charlie is a brilliant, fast learning, curious specie with a big appetite, so what do you think will happen when such a creature is introduced to a thing like sex?
I've never seen something so erotic and so interesting. This has got to be the best GenFic/SciFi ever. I loovee Charlieeeee. So freaking hilarious but made my heart swell so much. (brings out my inner starving goddess too)
dang holy crap this was so good. charlie is so precious i love him so much. the end had my blood pressure going up but everything turned out great. i’m going to read the other books now. i love the way this author writes.
The premise of the book was super interesting and original and the first part of the book was pretty good but the middle part was way to long for no reason. Nothing was happening other than sex for like 15 chapters and it made the story very slow. I feel like shortening the book would make it better. At one point the author wrote the same scene (him begging her to have sex with him and her saying no) in every single chapter for like 6 chapters in a row and it got old pretty quick. I really enjoyed the plot twist but the ending was pretty meh and unrealistic.
Mein erstes Fantasybuch seid langem und es war toll. Fesselnd und detailreich (aber nicht zu viel) geschrieben und einen plotwist am Ende den man nicht erwartet hat. Happy end und mit smut:)
MY FAVVVV!!! I love this book so much! I've reread this book five times over. It's so good I love it so much. Also, this book has all of my favorite tropes sooooo. <3<3<3
the book, the plot, the writing everything is just a chef kiss but the only reason I'm not giving it a 4 star is because there's too much smut like TOOO MUCH it actually shows you how a beast fucks
I loved this book. I could not put it down and literally finished it in one sitting. I enjoyed it because I liked how it was not cliche and thought it had a unique plot. Oli is also just an amazing writer and I loved how vivid the book was.
Out of this whole series this is the one book I keep coming back to. I LOVE this book and I have re-red it so many time that I have lost count.
This book is interesting for one with the whole idea of CENTURIES being a lab that does secret stuff that somehow each book plays a part in. I love it. It’s such an interesting concept that I wish was done more often. It’s similar to SiFi books and dystopian books, but perfect touch of romance that just takes it to a whole other level.
OK in the romance in this book is literally perfect. The reason why I kept reading this book is because I felt like it still Inc. the plot in the romance to wear. It wasn’t just a romantic with a side of plot. It’s still had the perfect balance that kept you on your toes, even when you were at the perfect spot in the book.
This was the most interesting out of this whole series that I read, and it could just be because I like the thought of this one compared to all the other ones. The violinist is my second favorite just because it tugs at your heart strings and it’s different and how it ties everything together each book has a completely different plot but yet they’re all connected and we still don’t know completely how yet and I love it.
This is one of the few bucks that I’m giving a five out of five because I’m very picky about who gets if I got a five but this, but definitely gets it from me. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
