Finally finished this series with my kids. A heart-warming take on the Arthurian Mythos, with animals (particularly mice) living and striving alongside humans. While Galahad is on a quest to find the Grail to save Camelot from Morgan and her Saxon allies, so is his friend, Calib Christopher, one of the mice of Camelot (Excalibur allows Galahad to understand the speech of animals). It's kind of like Redwall, in that animals form a good bit of the dramatis personae, but the human characters of the Arthurian Mythos are also a big part of the story. Anyway, the kids liked this one much more than I did, but it was good and wholesome, and when my kids have fun, I usually do, too!
