I love the way KaLyn writes about her strong women and men. There is action, love and turmoil. This is also about knowing what is most important in life. The scars on and in you are proof of your survival against the odds take pride in them. This story of Marcus and Tori is a fast-paced adventure. She supplies humour, suspense and of course the hot sexy scenes.

Marcus Hernandez has been attracted to Tori Denton ever since the Black Swan ladies helped Harper nurse him back to health after he had been kidnapped and tortured by a Colombian cartel. The attraction is mutual and now Tori’s ready to explore the possibilities of friends with benefits. While the case they are working on together heats up, so does their relationship as they move from friends to lovers. Marcus has little faith that such a strong, beautiful woman would be seriously interested in him long term, but Tori’s prepared to fight whatever battles she must to have Marcus in her life permanently.
This is an intriguing love story, full of action, drama, some suspense and plenty of steamy romance. The characters are strong and interesting. The storyline is engaging and entertaining with enough twists and turns to keep you reading from start to finish. If you have read “Uncaged Love” you will be aware of the circumstances that lead to Marcus’s current condition, but there’s enough back story provided to make this a standalone read. However, the characters are well-integrated throughout the series, which makes this that much more enjoyable if you’ve read the previous stories. I highly recommend this very appealing story and series!

Unbeatable Love by KaLyn Cooper is an action-packed thrill ride in book form. Ms. Cooper has once again delivered a book that is well-written and brimming with a stellar cast of characters. The ladies of the Black Swan are on a mission when they bump into Marcus, an ATF agent and friend. Marcus doesn't know about Black Swan until he's assigned a mission with them. Marcus and Tori's story is fast-paced and loaded with action, humor, suspense, and smokin' hot sexy bits. I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to my next book by KaLyn Cooper. Unbeatable Love: Lady Falcon (Tori) & Marcus is book 9 of the Black Swan Series but can be read as a standalone. I suggest reading the other books first due to the number of characters, but it's not a must do. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This book was absolutely fabulous! Of course this book was kicka**, it has a black swan lady after all and the man strong enough to have her trust, respect, and love. So full of action! This was also a story very much giving the reminder that what's inside is most important. Scars are a testament to survival, not to be ashamed of!

KaLyn Cooper knows how to write action, suspense, intrigue and love. The message through out was outward scars mean nothing. It is how you survive them and what's inside you that matters. Marcus & Tori's story is so well written that it makes you want to get to know them and their amazing friends and colleagues. Another great read in the Black Swan Series. I received an Advance Copy for an honest review.

I just finished reading this book from KaLyn Cooper and it was riveting from beginning to end! I love the dynamic between the characters. The heroines are so amazing and I love how strong they are. KaLyn writes characters that draw you in and keep you want to keep reading more! I loved this book and I can't wait to read more from her.

This is a great friends to lovers and we also get to see a little of Guardian, and Black Swan Team Two in this book. I love when KaLyn brings the Guardian guys in and now another team of Ladies. Even though they only get introduced a little at the end along with the guys being brought in at the end but they all work together like they have been working together for years.
Marcus was beaten severely and left with many ugly scars on his body so most women don't want to be with him. Tori doesn't really see the scar but the man beneath, who saved her friends life. They have been friends for over two years now but they have finally gone past the friends. Marcus thinks that Tori is too good for him and that he is too ugly for her. They are now going to be working together in addition to exploring there relationship. What will happen when Marcus starts getting beat again and Tori can't get to him right away? What does Marcus do when Tori gets hurt?

Once again KaLyn Cooper takes us on a journey through some very pretty but also treacherous country.
I love Marcus, he has suffered so much trying to protect Hailey. The ladies of Black Swan had adopted him and took care of him during recovery for one of the many surgeries he's had to endure so far. Through it all he's only had eyes for Tori, a former model, he feels was way out of his league even before the Cartel beat him almost to death. Now with all the scars he knows there is no chance for anything but friendship.
Ironically even though he's ATF he has no clue as to who and what Black Swan is, all he knows is that they work for Homeland Security. until he's escorting nuclear devices with another agent and the truck driver.
Still not quite knowing, he's invited to breakfast at Katlin's, well more like dinner because of the hour, but they had all gotten in around noon and crashed.
It's going to be a wedding! Harper and Rafe! and Tori and Marcus need dates. Tori asks Marcus I am so thrilled.
A friendship that is suddenly burning hotter, will capture your heart. Now even though there's a wedding, there are also plans in the works to get back the stolen nuclear rods.
There's a lot of tension in this book, most of it caused by Jack Ashworth. If you've been following this series, you'll remember the hell he put Lady Hawk (Katlin) through. I really wish someone would do something about him, he really gets on my nerves with all his posturing.
I loved all the interactions with CIA Assistant Director Tom Callahan and Commanding Officer of USSOCOM General Lyon, they definitely get it.
We get to meet the rest Black Swan Team 2 in this book and some Deltas too. The Guardian Security guys lend a hand as well as CIA agents Daniel and Santiago. Essentially the gang's all here. I loved catching up with them all.
I laughed, cried and held my breath as I read this book. Tori and Marcus are a match for sure. He has quite the learning curve going on as well.

I have been waiting for another book in this series, I'm really liking it.
Tori and Marcus have known each other for awhile. They are in the same friends circle but really haven't had a lot of time to get to know one another. They both have scars that they are trying to outrun. Some are visual, while others are not.
I really liked the character of Tori. She was a woman who was raised to be beautiful and that looks are the only thing that matter. Luckily that thought process didn't stick and she was willing to look below a persons surface to see really whats underneath.
Marcus is a proud man who while on assignment was captured and tortured. Some of his scars are visual and even though he carries a torch for Tori, he doesn't think a woman like her could ever like a man like him.
There was a lot of action in this book but what I liked most was even though Marcus didn't know all the specifics about who or what Tori was, he knew that she was more than capable to taking care of herself, even if the protective male wanted to do it himself. He showed the kind of relationship that I think we all want to have. Someone who loves and respects us, who knows when to step in but also knows when to step back and let us take care of it ourselves.
I highly recommend this book and series!

Awesome series
KaLyn Cooper is one hell of an author. Seriously one of the best series out there, Black Swan. Each woman is deadly and skilled & they still have normal lives normal backgrounds and are normal women. As they say beauty is skin deep but these women know that. They aren't just beautiful on the outside though, they are on the inside as well. Each series shows more and more that if the government doesn't already have a program like this I would be shocked if one wasn't in the works. Women are every bit as effective as men and sometimes more so because they are always underestimated.
The world building is complete and we'll put together. I was hoping to see a little more of team two but I imagine we might see more of them in the future. At least I really hope so.
I love that after all Marcus went through he found a happily ever after and that finally Tori found someone to love and be loved by. I loved that Marcus felt safe being protected by black swan. I also love that the girls are always there for each other.

Unbeatable Love is everything you could ever want in a book by Kalyn Cooper. This is an adrenaline filled story of angst, thrills, friendship and love all rolled into one well written enticing book. Marcus and Tori are the perfect couple once they decide to take the chance on each other. Marcus and Tori have been friends for 2 years and he does not know what she really does for a living. Marcus is the sweetest man who believes he is not good enough to be with anyone due to the baggage he carries around. His scars are more than skin deep and he expects to stay single. Tori only sees the hero that Marcus is she really does not see the scars. These characters are well written and fit right into the storyline that we love about the Black Swan series. It was nice to catch up with the other ladies and nice to meet Team 2. The real question is can Marcus let Tori do her job and not need to protect her all the time and can he allow himself to love and be loved by one kick ass independent woman who does not need him to define her but just love her. If you love strong alpha men and the independent women who can kick their butts this book and series is for you. You will not be able to put it down and will read it in one sitting, Well done.

I just love this series because it focuses on a team of women in the military who have the same training as the men in various special forces groups. What you get is a team that very few know about, who can best any man out there, which I love. This story focuses on Tori who was once a top fashion model and now a sniper/sharp shooter with this group. Many people underestimate her due to her beauty which is just the way she wants it. Marcus has always liked Tori from afar but now, due to his injuries from his last mission (and still recuperation period), he doesn't think he is good enough for her. I must say Tori was the person who I initially liked the least of this group, but as you get into her background, you realize why she has some of the habits and thinking that she has. I love how these two came together and how she totally accepted Marcus for his heart, not his looks. Great suspense, great chemistry, and great catching up with the others in this group.

KaLyn Cooper writes kick-ass characters, both women and men. Her stories are action filled with a good share of hot sex thrown in for good measure. This was no exception to what I expected from her Black Swan series.
However, if she's spending money on an editor, she's getting ripped off. The types of editing errors I see makes me think the book was dictated and translated by a machine from voice to the written word. Examples:
"Pictorial" muscles appeared twice. Should have been pectoral muscles.
"Your" home this weekend. Should have said you're home this weekend.
. . . turning his "hear" toward Tori. Should say turning his ear . . .
There was one big continuity issue that jumped out at me: when getting ready for the wedding Tori's dress was described as "The demure scoop neckline didn't show any cleavage . . " Then later at the wedding we read "He reached into the front of the low-cut dress . . . "

This series just keeps getting better! The book is that perfect mix of romance, action, and emotion all combining into an explosive story. ATF agent Marcus is back in action after surviving his torture in Uncaged Love that left him scarred on the outside and finds himself right in the middle of the next Black Swan mission. Tori aka Lady Falcon is a ex-model turned special ops warrior who is drawn to the damaged hero. The two team up to recover stolen nuclear material along with the rest of the Black Swan team and their friends. Tori and Marcus' story reminded me of a twist on the Beauty and the Beast tale with their love healing them both. Both sweet and steamy with plenty of action and adventure that had me glued to the pages. If you love stories about strong, fierce woman and the men who fight by their side you will enjoy this book.

I loved reading about Tori ( Lady Falcon) and Marcus. We met Marcus previously when he was kidnapped and beaten within an inch of his life. The ladies of black swan looked after him and he has been in love with Tori for ages. Still suffering a little from his injuries he always worries that he is in the friend zone with Tori and that anything she gives will always be for pity. We get into the action as a terrorist cell steel nuclear rods for warheads for their countries gain. We see a relationship developed between the two but as a mission take a turn and Marcus is beaten again, will this be the last time Tori sees him? Someone gets shot but will they survive? This series just seems to get better and better as each book goes by. Can’t wait to read the next book and to get to know black swan two.

With each book I read, I fall more in love with this series - the suspense, strong female heroines, alpha males who aren't intimated by the women, camaraderie among the team, humor, and so much more. Tori is at the point in her life where she isn't afraid to go after what she wants, and she's realized that is Marcus. She isn't repulsed by the scars he's received as a result of a severe beating. But his scars are also on the inside and he doesn't feel he deserves someone like Tori. But just as they are about to explore their attraction, they get sent on a mission to recover some stolen warheads. There is plenty of action as the mission gets underway and chemistry between Tori and Marcus.

OMG! FANTASTIC story. This one is about Tori and Marcus. Marcus has been to help and back and feels like no woman would ever live him. He was wrong. Tori was wild until she met Marcus. Marcus had fallen in love with Tori but figured she would never love him back. He was wrong. The edge of your seat action was done towards the end of the book. Once the team completed their mission, Tori and Marcus professed their love for each other, after Tori woke up. I am happy that Marcus is able to accept Tori's love without feeling like he didn't deserve anyone. FANTASTIC job KaLyn! I would highly recommend this book. Can't wait for the next book!

KaLyn Cooper is the best when it comes to suspenseful romance, and I can't wait to get my hands on her new books. This lady knows how to reach out and grab you and holds you captivated until the very end; leaving you wanting more. Great author, great books!

Another amazing story. The Black Swan series is awesome and the story of Tori and Marcus is full of twists and turns, I love how the characters are carried on from story to story. It always makes me smile when the men in their lives learn who they really are. It is awesome how they go from operator mode to night club mode. The characters are so well developed and the way KaLyn always peels away the layers to show where they came from and where they are now. When I finish a story I already can't wait for the next one. Kalyn you are absolutely an amazing author.

It has been a minute since I have been able to read one from this author. This one made the wait worth it with the characters and the writing that wraps around you. Marcus and Tori will take you on quite the escape with their tale. It will also take your insides and stomp on them giving them a different shape when finished. These two with their pig headed ideas will also make you swoon wanting the moon for them and vanquishing any drama that rolls their way. Sucked this one quickly leaving well satisfied.

Unbeatable Love : Lady Falcon and Marcus: Loved the team work that the teams had. Great suspense throughout the book. Loved all the couple's and how they support each other in their careers. I loved that the woman were as tough as the men in what they do but can still have the soft sides when not working. Hot romances! The ladies of the Black Swan make me smile every time I read one. Lots of action, plenty of steam these ladies know their stuff. Tori was a fantastic character and had great chemistry with Marcus. Marcus had survived being tortured and had scars but Tori saw the man. I also enjoy seeing previous characters and what they are doing. Love the closeness of these ladies and love the entire series! Another great read by Kalyn. Marcus was brutally beaten to within an inch of his life by the cartel when he was captured in the previous book with Harper. He has a lot of scars inside and out and figures no woman would want to look at him. So when Lady Falcon, Tori, shows an interest he's afraid she'll show pity and he couldn't stand that. There is a lot of action in this book, heat and HEA. Received this book free for an honest review.

Another great book in the series. One thing I liked about this book is that Marcus and Tori's story technically begins a couple years before this book begins, as he is mentioned in Book 2 in the series. I'll be honest, I had somewhat forgot about him, as it's been a few months since I read book 2, but once it clicked I really liked how Kalyn was tying together past events in the series. And of course the wounded/scarred warrior finding an HEA always appeals to me.

Tori and Marcus dance around each other scared of being to broken. Scars Marcus carries are keeping him form letting Tori in, others have proved he is to scared to be loved. Tori and Marcus are thrown into a mission that has Him realizing they are meant to be. Now they have to survive it!!! Loved It ❤️👍👍👍👍👍
