A sweet and steamy second chance story
I read and reviewed this originally as part of the Hockey Holidays anthology, where it was one of my favorite stories. Part of the Redtails Hockey series, I hadn’t read this author before and thought this story worked extremely well as a standalone.
In fact, I was impressed with how fully the characters were developed and how deeply I cared for them within the space limitations. A sweet and steamy second chance story, I will definitely be checking out the rest of the series. 5+ stars

It was a really quick read & one that I'd already read. I enjoyed it. I enjoyed watching Kyle work hard to win Leah's trust & love back after dumping her 18 months ago to play hockey on the west coast. I loved how Leah didn't make it easy for him, but I also loved it when she decided to take things in her own hands & move their relationship when she wanted to. It was very hot with their chemistry burning up the pages. I only wish that it was a little longer.

I love Stephanie’s hockey reads. Kyle and Leah are so right for each other, but Kyle made a huge mistake 18 months prior. Now he is back and determined to get her back. Leah nearly broke when Kyle left, with hardly a word. She is not sure if his I intentions are right or if she can trust him. Kyle is determined to prove to her is is different and wants a second chance.

Ehhhh is reprint and boring
It was ok as part of an analogy but by itself it was kind of boring, i wish i had realized it was part of the anthology and that i had read it before i had bought it. I am looking forward to the next book

This is the 1st book I read by Stephanie Julian. I'm sorry I stopped reading this story 📖 at chapter 4 because it was boring.
