HOW FAR WOULD YOU GO TO SAVE THE LIFE OF YOUR DAUGHTER?

Still hundreds of miles from his little girl with no car, no food, and only the company of an excitable labrador, Boomer, Jack Archer has a long journey ahead of him, and not an inch of it will be easy. Between deadly nuclear fallout, destroyed cities and new allies he's not sure he can entirely trust, there are a thousand ways tomorrow could kill him.

Hundreds of miles to the south Jack's ex-wife Karen is running out of time, trapped in the ruins of San Francisco, poisoned by radioactive fallout. But as she leaves the city behind she's about to learn that she, Emily and Doctor Ramos are in much greater danger than they ever imagined.

They're about to learn who dropped the bombs.

SHOCK WAVE is the second novel of the lightning-paced, heart-stopping, gut-wrenching Jack Archer post-apocalyptic survival series.

... a truly compulsive page turner, the kind of book that forces you at gunpoint to the next chapter all the way to the end.

Keith Taylor is the true identity of the million plus selling author behind the pen names Aya Fukunishi and K A Taylor, who toiled for years writing bizarrely popular romance novels while he secretly longed to return to his true calling: explosively awesome post-apocalyptic fiction.

Keith hails from the rainy suburbs of Manchester in the north of England. He lives with his wife, Otgontsetseg, and splits his time between Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and Bangkok, Thailand. He survives on a diet of meat, cheese, beer and cigarettes, and he probably shouldn't still be alive.

Can't wait for the final book of this series!

What a great ride! Held my breath quite a few times! Boomer, scared the heck out of me for a minute there. Keith writes so well that you envision what all these characters look like, and you care for them. I just hope book 3 gets out quickly, that's the only problem, waiting when all you want to do is continue on. Yes, read these books by Keith Taylor. I plan on checking out his other books too, and advise anyone hesitating, don't!

Book #2

I am enjoying this series. Second book I have read from this author. Looking forward to reading a lot more. Not like a lot of apocalyptic books. Real people situations.

Quasi spoiler:
I know Jackie took an OATH but every time he treats anyone from that town disperse pain, give the wrong medicine, misdiagnosis.....thank goodness he didn't have to challenge his ethics ......

Soap box much? Sorry, Mr. Taylor, but this story (and all EMP) stories are becoming trite and predictable. The whys and hows change slightly, but the ending (no matter how long you drag it out) is always the same. That said, the characters were believable and the dialogue good. I just think creativity and imagination are lacking. Call me jaded or bored because I have read a lot of EMP fiction and like the Zombie books, it has seen it's day.

Great book. I can't wait to see how Jack and Karen find each other. I would highly recommend this series to anyone who likes reading this types books

The story was original in the survivors are in mess because of a nuclear bomb and it destroyed so much. They didn't know where to go and to who trust.

A joyride on a roller coaster!

This is post apocalyptic fiction at its best! The characters are people I know... the doggie I want. Great storyline with not so much violence that you’re cringing every few minutes. Good reading for readers of all ages. Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Shock Wave book 2

Mr. Taylor did it again. Shock Wave Book 2 kept the readers attention and then some more. He left you wanting more of the story. Will Hack find his little girl? How about his wife and friend. Will his new friends and dog make it? We shall find out in book 3

LOVE IT!

Follow this series about post nuclear attack when Jack tries to reunite with his wife and daughter. Join them as they band with others to survive and try to find each other. Sometimes scary, sometimes funny and sometimes exciting, but always wonderful!

Good story

As Jack and Karen come closer to a reunion, tension mounts as the details of the truth emerge. This was caused by our own government. I can hardly wait for the final book in this series.

Good

Decent story line with believable characters. Looking forward to the next installment. Eight more words are required to finish the review. A stupid requirement t that stops alot of readers from leaving a re iew.

Shock wave

Interesting, fallible characters, with a back drop of fear and despair that keeps one guessing about outcomes and fragile alliances.

Ok disaster book

Started ok, never really got going, though. You can see it going in a spy novel direction, but it feels forced
