Untested recipes are always a risk … is this one worth taking?
She’s going to ask the arrogant hottie for a special favor…
Talia Madej, a personal chef, has kept a recent harrowing crisis secret from her friends and the local gossips in her small town. She has enough baggage to sink a ship which has crushed her confidence and makes her wary of men and relationships. The only way out of this is to start living again, and the first hurdle is to ask the new guy in town to help her get back in the game. Even if he is not her type, a cocky workaholic who always seems to be surrounded by beautiful women, he’s the perfect candidate because he’s temporary. He’ll be a short-term player in her long-term scheme.
He’s not about to refuse her and the intriguing offer she presents…
Peyton MacKenzie’s star is rising. A hotshot restaurateur in New York City who is used to putting himself first, he just has to get his newest restaurant up and running, and then he’s blowing this tiny bohemian tourist town and pursuing the ultimate career opportunity. But when the charming blond chef needs use of his commercial kitchen for her catering business, he surprises himself and doesn’t hesitate to say yes. And when she asks for something bigger with no strings attached, he’s definitely more than willing to oblige. Soon he realizes that simply being a pawn in her plan is not enough for him. He has to figure out how to hold on to her…forever.
**This is a standalone novel in The Fearsome Series.
S. A. Wolfe lives with her family in New York City. She is a voracious reader of all types of fiction and passionate about writing. She loves connecting with readers on Facebook or email her at: sawolfe24@gmail.com.
I really liked this story about a Polish caterer and a wealthy restaurant entrepreneur who are both in between events in their lives and are attracted to each other so they decide to have some fun together in the interim, both knowing it is short term. Talia had recently gone through heart surgery and hasn’t told anyone in her small town other than her Mom and Sister who helped her recover at home. Her ex boyfriend couldn’t handle her illness or the fact that it might be genetic and left her in her time of need.
The rest of the town thought she was on vacation with her father in Florida. Peyton comes to town to open a restaurant, his family and friends live in town and a few of them are working with him on the restaurant they are opening. However, he plans to leave soon after the opening to start up more restaurants and become wealthier yet. Talia wants to stay and hopefully move on to a more stable marriageable partner by that time, possibly her new client Evan.
The book is very detailed and has a lot of action as well as twists and turns. It was quite long for this type of romance but it held my interest the entire time. Though I do think maybe it was a bit too long by about 150 pages. That is just my personal opinion though. Otherwise it’s was stellar. I liked all the characters in the town and in both families and thought the book was funny in places and deep in others. It dealt with some mental heath issues and there was an intervention that was both realistic and pretty funny.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
It took the OW to fix the H and h’s relationship and I hated it. The H couldn’t even put the h before everything without the OW’s compassion.
He DID relocate to another town WITH the OW and their mutual kid, without a second thought to h. He DID leave and had no issues leaving the h behind.
He came back because the OW refused to relocate and used the son to manipulate his decision. He moved back because the OW told him in no uncertain term that she won’t share custody with a interstate dad.
DO NOT give me BS about how he loved the h. IF the OW agreed to relocate or to any of his terms he would NOT have stated back, regardless of how he felt about the h. Would he have regretted and reached out to her? Now we have no way of knowing. The OW had to point out that along with many benefits of not leaving, there is also the ADDED benefit of the h being there.
That’s exactly what she was. An added benefit. So DO NOT try to sell his love to me.
The author added a little note saying how she wanted the OW to play a vital point showing her compassion in the progress of the H and h’s relationship. I think she got carried away and created the most disrespectful situation in the book, where it was only a third person’s compassion that made the H and h’s relationship possible which makes h’s importance in H’s life redundant.
I wanted to give a one star, but the h was kinda cool.

Flawless is a standalone book in the Fearsome series. You will see characters from previous books as side characters in Flawless.
This is set in a smaller town where everyone knows everyone, and everything that's going on. You have that sense of extended family in Talia and Peyton's story with all their friends, the town folk as well as their own family members.
This book just drew me in from the very beginning. The writing is superb and kept me completely engrossed into all these people's lives. Despite the title, the characters are flawed. The reactions and situations are real.
Talia and Peyton are a couple who do struggle. It's not fairy tale easy. They have obstacles in their path and get in their own way a lot.
I will admit, I am a reader who prefer more fairy tale and less real, however, there was just something about the way their story was told that I still fell in love with this couple and all the people in their lives.
The ending had me feeling ready to see where else this author will take us next in the world of Hera.
I have a little confession to make. As much as I loved S.A. Wolfe’s writing, this is a long book. I don’t mean slow, just looong. As much as I loved Talia’s Polish heritage and both her and Peyton’s familial issues, It took me a while to finally get into the story and I felt the first half of the story would’ve worked a little better had it gotten a trim somewhere along the line.
The second half pulled me in and I ended up loving Payton and Talia. I have to be honest and say that, by that point, I felt like I was loving the story but pushing through nonetheless.
Why 4 stars? I loved the writing, and I knew I would. This isn’t my first S.A. Wolfe book and I had high hopes going in. Though the pacing bothered me, it also felt like a “me, not the book” issue I’m willing to overlook.

This book is special to me for two reasons: I beta read and I'm the yoga instructor character (if only I could really do it). I got the book early obviously, but I can write this review honestly and voluntarily because I believe in it. We all have self confidence issues, some even have an unhealthy competitive drive or even a dysfunctional family. There is something in this story for everyone and it will grab you whole heartily. Talia is a young chef striving to be successful, while caring for her mother and catching the attention of two very eligible wealthy bachelors. Peyton is an ambitious businessman opening a brewery and restaurant. He's friends with the guys from books in the Fearsome series. Although the guys and their ladies make numerous cameos this is his story. I hope you enjoy their story, the characters and various people in the town will become special to you also.

Flawless is a highly entertaining book, it covers different issues between the main characters Talia and Peyton. In the first few chapters i thought that the focus was more on the secondary characters, but that changed. This romance book shows the insecurities of the hero and heroïne very well. It also shows how they deal with them and try to overcome the hurdles. I loved that about Flawless.
It’s a long book, but i am very happy about requesting it! It is a must read in 2020, because Flawless shows that ups and down in life and relationships are normal. It shows how to work on the flaws in life, while trying to make life Flawless.
I was given a copy of this book in exchange for a review.
To sum up this book, it's about two chefs named Peyton and Talia that decided to start a friends with benefits relationship and-well-you can tell where this is going. Of course they end up falling in love. That's the whole point!!! But there way more than just a romance going on. Let me tell you about it.
First off, let me tell you why I chose 3 out of five stars. Originally it was four but it took me until 50% of the way to really get into it. I didn't think they connected as a couple in the beginning. I didn't see them together. However, the sex is pretty amazing. There is also a backstory on certain topics, ex: she has a heart condition so you have to read about that. I get it. It's important to know how and why she has had heart surgery. I am not a fan of reading about topics like that and the story behind it. So I got bored.
I don't want to spoil, but let's just say someone from Peyton's past comes back into his life with very important information for him. This is when I really started falling in love with Talia and Peyton's relationship. I almost cried just reading the deep conversations in this novel. It felt like a such a dramatic movie in my head. Please make this into a movie!!!
I give this book 3 out of 5 chefs because of the slow beginning and also the very hot and heavy relationship going on.
What a Flawless story! The awkward and caring heroine was a perfect match for the charming, workaholic Romeo. Their arrangement was a deal made in desperation. Their love was unavoidable.
Flawless isn't an easy read. They don't have a hearts and rainbows relationship. It's real with ups and downs and a ton of "luggage." I absolutely adore Talia's strength and inability to see the humor in her language barriers. (She reminds me of my husband!) She sees it as a weakness but I only see her ability to overcome. I
While they might not be the "perfect, glamour " couple, these two have chemistry and heart. I think they are perfect. And if the ending has any hints, I know who's next in this series.
Peyton is just so proud of his assets, “I have no problem with you talking about ***ks. I have my own and am damn happy with it.” Great, I’m a raging idiot and a moron." You just don't question you woman's choice of food, “I can eat whatever I damn well please and, right now, I want some greasy cheeseburgers from BooHoo Burger. They serve twenty-four-seven to people like me.” I liked this book, I loved Peyton, this was my first book that I've read by this author and I'd definitely will read more books by her.
Rating: ★★✬☆☆ (2.5/5 Stars) Title: Flawless Author(s): S.A. Wolfe Character(s): ― Natalia "Talia" Madej: Blonde, Blue Eyed ― Peyton MacKenzie: Grey Eyed Setting: New York Tag(s): Romance, Contemporary Content Rating: R POV: Alternates between Heroine/Hero Smexy Level: Hot Favorite Quote(s): Overall Opinion: Let's get you the nitty gritty shall we? During the first few chapters of this romance novel, my enthusiasm started to dimmer down and I found myself dozing off ¼ through the read. The characters, their relationship and the general plot just seem dull and was a complete snoozefest. I could understand why some readers would enjoy this read but I just could resonate with "Flawless" and the fact that it was a long novella didn't help this matter since no matter how many chapters read or pages skimmed, it wasn't coming to an end anytime soon. Sadly this was a keeper and I buried it in my dropped pile.

4/5 ⭐️
This is the fourth installment of SA Wolfe, Fearsome Series. In the small town of Hera, lives the Polish beauty, personal chef, Talia. Talia has been through one hell of a curveball. She is diagnosed with a medical condition, will need a risky surgery, which ends her relationship with her fiancé. Peyton the new restauranteur, opening the new restaurant in town, catches Talia eyes, but he only here to get his restaurant open, and moving on to bigger and better opportunities. While Talia, is down and recovering from her surgery, her kitchen she rents out caught on fire. So her and Peyton, come to an agreement, she can use his kitchen in the restaurant, until hers is rebuilt, and that’s where feelings start to change.
I really enjoyed Flawless storyline. The main characters are beautifully flawed. Talia, is an independent, woman who also. has low self confidence, because to important men, have hurt her so deeply. She has a hard time trusting people, and is the girl, who’s glass is half empty. Peyton is the tempting, handsome guy that loves to have his hands in all different kinds of opportunities. He is career driven, and don’t see himself settling down. They story was complex and challenging, they had a bunch of life changes events thrown at them. The storyline was pretty realistic, because I have had experience with someone that lived through the medical procedure that Talia had. The supporting cast, you will remember from the past books, so they were great and supporting as ever. This book will bring out your emotions, you’ll laugh, smile, get annoyed, and a little sad sometimes. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because I found some chapters were a little to detailed for me. After all said and done I would definitely check out another of the author’s books.

Flawless by S. A. Wolfe is the fourth book in her Fearsome series since this was the first one I've read I thought it was easy to read as a stand alone. The middle did bog done a little in the middle but picked up at the end. This is Talia and Peyton's story however the rest of the MacKenzie family are featured in Flawless.
Talia Madej's family immigrated from Poland to New York hoping for the American dream but low paying jobs have the family moving to Hera, NY where she soon has a budding business as a catering and cleaner for her sister's business. But a fire in her rented kitchen has her friend Bash (Peyton's chef at Swill) offers their kitchen to use. Peyton and Talia will dance around each other with one of her client's thrown in for good measure. But its her recent health scare that will have her wondering if she can keep her secret from everyone. Since her vocabulary is still not at 100% her word mix ups are entertaining.
Peyton Mackenzie just wants to get Swill started up and profitable before moving onto his next venture in California. What he doesn't expect is to become protective over Talia when her sisters tells him of her health issues. But when a former high school girlfriend drops a son into his life he'll decide to be the best dad he can be. He'll waver on whether they have a love worth fighting for after the auction and there were some moment where I wondered if the H/h would finally see that they could have their HEA and in the end it all works out. I have a feeling that it will be Adam and Harmony will have the next book.
I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for a review. I thoroughly love this series and can’t say enough about the author and her writing.
Magical. That’s the word that comes to mind as I read ‘Flawless’, S. A. Wolfe’s latest book in her Fearsome series. I laughed as Talia’s struggles with her English and I feel such compassion as she navigates her own as well as her Mother's health issues. The strength of her friends as they have her back fills me with warmth. And the relationship with Peyton is as heart-pounding as it is sexy. The story takes Talia and Peyton from friends to having a sexy, strong, enduring relationship.
I love how Wolfe brings her characters to life. She takes the time to develop their personalities, both their flaws and their strengths. Like Talia Madej, who has her share of hurtles to jump over, in the end, it is those flaws that make her the woman she is. She slowly discovers that her flaws are nothing to be ashamed of, but rather something that makes her stronger.
Peyton MacKenzie has his own problems to overcome, before he can become the man Talia needs to complete her. His life is on upward spiral, and he can’t see himself staying in any one place for very long, or with any one woman. He is always striving for the next big thing. But maybe success isn’t counted in dollars, but in sense.
As always, it’s so much fun to visit the small town of Hera, and to see how the people from earlier books are doing. Wolfe does a masterful job of seamlessly blending the stories, building from the first book to her fourth one in the series.
I think this book can be summed up in a quote I am taking from the book, "We all have marks on our character. It all depends how deep they go."
Gah, women's fiction: c'mon publishers, this category has no place in 2019. Men read romance, men write romance, stop trying to alienate a potential reader base.
So, the story appealed to me and I really admired Talia. Peyton was sex on legs too, and I should have been glued to the page but....I just wasn't. Its a long read, usually I'm all over that, really lets me get lost in a novel, gives time to get to know the characters but here, well, I just didn't connect with the story. I put it aside in case it was just my mood – that happens, but on second read it still wasn't great for me. After the halfway mark I skim read the rest, just wanting to see how it finished rather than enjoying the journey through the story. There are some terrific characters, I hadn't read earlier stories but each are stand alone and I don't think that had anything to do with me not really gelling with this book.
Its well written, has lots of detail, side plots, and characters feel very real. Somehow though for me it just lacked intensity, I'm all about the nasty characters, the angst, the drama, and though there were suggestions of it here for me it just wasn't enough.
Stars: three, it was fun in parts, had some great characters but overall it wasn't a great read for me. Arc via Netgalley and publishers
An Absolutely Beautiful Story . I volunteered to read and review an advanced readers copy of FLAWLESS through Netgallery . I really enjoyed reading this outstanding story . It's well written has wonderful and unique characters truely an fantastic story . Talia Madej is a very strong and beautiful inside and out woman . She has worked really hard to support herself an her sister and mother . After her father up an ran out on them . Talia hasn't had an easy life after a medical issue that she keeps secret and the end of her engagement . Talias confidence needs a lift . She decides to ask the sexy Peyton McKenzie to help her out in more ways than just his restaurants kitchen . She knows he's only there temporarily atleast she tells herself that she just wants temporary . Peyton is a restauranteur in New York he doesn't plan on being in town long . Soon the arrangement gets out of their control and emotions and feelings get involved . A lot of decisions need to be made and Peyton might need to think of others than just himself . This story is beautifully written . I think the characters are fabulous . An all out spectacular emotional journey . I was captivated from the beginning of the end . I highly recommend taking the time to read .
I loved Flawless!! It was entertaining and funny, heartbreaking and empowering!! This is the 4th book in the series and it’s as awesome as the first 3. Flawless introduces you to Talia, who right off the bat has to overcome a scary situation and Peyton, who has big plans for where his life is leading. Together they have explosive chemistry but they have totally different desires for their future. However sometimes fate steps in and best laid plans become altogether different. S.A. Wolfe is an exceptional writer and if you haven’t read the other books in this series, I highly recommend them
After reading the blurb for this book I thought it sounded quite interesting and since this was a new author for me I thought I give it a fair shot. I think I did, but I just couldn't get past the 25% mark -- there really isn't anything that makes me dislike this book, it just didn't grab me like I thought it would. It's quite long and moves rather slowly and I kept waiting for it to pick up but I found myself not picking up my Kindle to read it. Unfortunately, this is a DNF for me. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC through NetGalley and my thoughts and opinions are my own.
Talia works as a personal chef and enlists the kitchen of a restaurant her friends own when a fire takes her kitchen. She meets the brother and manager of the restaurant and the attraction is fast. The romance is more slow building and meets many obstacles. There are many characters and the book takes it time to build the world that encompasses the lead characters. I loved this book and felt a loss when it ended because I knew I would miss these characters. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you netgalley for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This was a decent romance. I admire Talia for her strength and determination to live her life despite her health problems. She meets Peyton and feels attracted to him but remains weary of his smooth talking and often overbearing personality. Peyton is attracted and genuine likes her and does what he needs to in order to win her heart. i wasn't crazy about his methods but he's a decent guy. Good read.
This is one very interesting book that I really enjoyed reading it. It has own unique story about two very interesting characters. Both Talia and Payton are well developed interesting and easy to love. Each of them has their own personal baggage which they have to work on. I loved all the family drama, humor, and chemistry. I loved that I was not bored reading it and that there is a HEA for those two. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for NetGalley
I was pleasantly surprised to find a new book in the Fearsome Series. And I loved it. I enjoyed the story of Talia and Peyton, but I especially love how the author weaves in the citizens of Hera and all the other main characters of the Fearsome books. There are some hilarious parts to the story, including a cell phone exchange that had me laughing loudly. Can't wait for the next in the series; pretty sure there were hints about who the characters might be.
I really enjoyed this book. There was just enough spiciness and complex characters that just kept me turning pages and reading as fast as I could.
I was nervous entering this book having read no other books in the series. I was nervous that i would be lost because of that, but luckily that was not the case. I do intend to read other books in the series now. I loved reading her writing and seeing a romance blossom in a way that is angsty, but also believable.
Loved this story and it will definitely be one I will read again. This is a book in a series but can be read as a standalone. The characters are well developed and you feel connected to them throughout the story. The story keeps you engrossed and you can't (and wont) put it down.
This was my first book by author S.A. Wolfe and now I can't wait to devour the other books in this series. Talia and Peyton's story is a wonderful read. The town of Hera is a place I wish I could visit! Even without reading the other books in the series you learn enough about the other characters so this is good as a standalone as well.
We were first introduced to the citizens of Hera in the previous books in this series. Flawless is where we get reacquainted with the people again. I loved this fictional little town, makes me want to move to it. They gathered and support their own. Talia is a well liked personal chef. What is a girl to do when two sexy men are vying for her attention. One of them is Peyton, the up and coming restaurant owner. He has his own demons to deal with besides chasing Talia. The story was fun to read, the characters are likable. This is a stand-alone.
I received an ARC copy from the publishers via Netgalley.

I almost forgot how much I loved this series. Flawless is just as fabulous as the others. Filled with the best characters and family function and friends of small town living that grabs us and pulls us in an hold on tight.
