This was a really sweet romance it was a super read and also had some heat this is a perfect book to get you in the mood for Valentine's day. It was a really good little read with a cute storyline it is well worth a read. I just loved getting to know Jackson and Paige they were such good characters and so great together.

Office Romances aren’t really my favorite trope. I haven’t found one that makes me really love this trope so you have recs please send them my way. This also includes friends to lovers trope, which is one of my favorite tropes EVER. And this one was pretty well done.

Just like Seven Minutes In Heaven, Sugar Rush takes place around Valentine’s Day. Now I’m not sure if they all are taking place in the same time period or if they are in different years but other than being involved in the same series and the central idea of Single Status (the dating service for singles on Valentine’s day) I feel like you can read the entire series in any order. I don’t think you’ll miss anything.

Sugar Rush gave us another cool aspect of Single Status. I honestly think this is a cool concept and I think this author executed the story pretty well.

Sugar Rush is about Jackson and Paige. Both are lawyers and coworkers. They are the best friend’s. Jackson had his heart broken years ago (we get a flashback of this in the story) when his fiancé broke up with him for a guy she just met. Paige was always there for him. The story progresses and they are still great friends and you can tell they have some attraction to each other.

Paige’s friend is tired of the games that Jackson and Paige are playing so she takes it upon herself to sign them up for Single Status. She sends Jackson a candy gram to arrange a date at Jackson’s and Paige’s favorite spot for some painting and dinner. I thought this date idea was cute!

I really loved Jackson and Paige. I thought they were both sweet/ caring characters. I did feel like Jackson was a little clueless and took him time to realize that Paige’s attraction to him.

This was only 76 pages and that is kind of crazy to me! This was such a good story and developed effortlessly that it didn’t feel like a short read. Honestly, I wish it was longer because I loved Paige and Jackson so much. I’d love to read more about them. This could definitely be expanded. Again, if you like quick easy romances this would be a great read for you.

I can never get enough of Bella Emy’s work, there’s just something magical about them that just draws you in and this book is no exception. Just from the title of this book alone was enough to make me want to dive right in and give it a read, and boy… Bella has blown my mind away again. This is a short full-length novel, but it’s honestly well worth the read, if anything this is the perfect book to get you into the Valentine’s day mood. There was nothing that I could fault about this, it was the perfect read in every way imaginable, the characters were just right and you can’t help but fall in love with them. I can’t wait to see what else that Bella brings us next as her stories are always just incredible.

Jackson had pretty much everything he could ever ask for, a great job, the perfect girl and he was happy…. However, everything changed one night and he lost the girl who he thought was his forever. Little did he realise that there was someone else who had been watching from the side-lines and was waiting to see if anything would develop between them. Whilst she didn’t want him to be sad and hurt, she couldn’t help feel a little joy because she now had a chance at taking what she wanted. But will Jackson realise that his truelove is right around the corner?

Jackson has been engaged to his girlfriend Amalia for a while so when he picks her up for dinner he never expected her to break up with him telling him she has fallen in love with another man. He is devastated so he calls his work friend Paige and tells her what has happened she is sympathetic but silently happy since she has been in love with him and he has only seen her as a frinend. A few years later they still work together and neither has made a move so he roommate sends a secret candy gram from Paige to Jackson asking him to meet his secret admirer so when she shows up he is speechless.

The funny thing about this book is, I got a few chapters of this book at the end of an arc book (which I didn’t particularly like) but got totally caught up in Sugar Rush and then went and bought it on amazon to finish, Really enjoyed this book, thought the storyline was cute and loved both characters, wished there had been an epilogue update, but this didn’t spoil it, really I read the arc book now 😁

This is a cute, sweet story with a little steam. It's a fairly quick read and overall well written. I liked the characters and the plot even though it is somewhat predictable. I liked Jackson and Paige. He is a little clueless but at least he finally gets who will be there on the pier. It's a good story with some drama and a slow build to the steam and happiness.

A sweet, quick read. Even if you knew how the story probably would end, it was entertaining. The last part of it got another rythm and felt a little out of character. It felt like Jax and Paige changed personality - but maybe waiting for a good thing can do that to you.

So Sweet it's A Sugar Rush....
If you love your romance sugary sweet with a dash of heat, this is the read for you. The chemistry between the main charcters sizzles throughout the whole story - frankly I was surprised they didnt end up together sooner. AWESOME book!
