Brittany Crowley really knocked it out of the park with this one. I absolutely loved everything about it! Rebel is the ultimate friends to lovers/brother's best friend romance and was exactly the type of read that I was looking for.
Emerson Cage is a fierce fighter who aspires to follow in her dad's footsteps. She has always dreamed of fighting in the MMA and her hard work and dedication has finally paid off. But before her first fight, she decides to let loose and blow off some steam. Taking a cross-country road trip with her two best friends is just the thing she needs. At least until her long-time crush/bodyguard shows up and throws a wrench in their plans.
Josiah Kent has always had a thing for Emmy, but pursuing her is simply out of the question. Not only is he her bodyguard and seven years older, but he is also her older brother's best friend. When Emmy takes off, it's his job to find her and bring her back home. It doesn't take him long, but things don't go exactly as he had planned. When he sees her all dressed up and dancing on that bar, he can no longer deny these feelings that he has. The two of them together are sizzling hot and absolutely explosive. They certainly steamed up the pages and left me begging and pleading for more.
All in all, Rebel was a terrific read from beginning to end! The story-line was smart, sexy and a whole lot of fun. The characters were real, flawed and easy to relate to. I thought this was a good read to spend my afternoon getting swept up in. This was the first book I've read from this author and most definitely won't be the last.

This is one of my favorite genre and MMA Fighters is one of them. I especially loved this story because it was a female MMA fighter and she kicked arse! I loved this story so much I couldn't get enough. I could not put it down till I was done late in the morning and I was like OMG because that ending oh yes that ending had me fist pumping in my room.
Emmy is amazing and she knows what she wants and she wants to follow the legacy her family has so she fights MMA and she is damn good at it. Her first real fight is coming up so she decides to take some time with her friends and takes off. Well her brother is not having it so he sends his best friend Josiah to find her and when he does shiz hits the fan because Josiah is in love with Emmy and has always been but she is his best friends younger sister but that doesn't matter this time because when he sees her all dressed up and dancing provocatively he gives in and tells her how he feels.
Will Emmy feel the same way? What will happen in her first fight? This is an amazing story that you have to one click and read it all in one sitting!

#RebelsArmy all the way! This is a great MMA, slow burn romance that you will not want to put down. Joss is swoon worthy in so many ways and I feel inspired by all that is Rebel. Throughout the story we’re given a great blend of love, laughter and friendship. Leo and his personality is priceless. This man has a heart of gold and will have you in stitches with his comments. Seeing the entire Cage family come together and support one another goes a long way. I was a bit surprised with the ending but left me with nothing but smiles.

Rebel was the first book I’ve had the opportunity to include from Brittany Crowley in my blog tour schedule and I am so glad I did. Rebel was entertaining—sweet, funny, sexy and a sports romance… where can you go wrong? I enjoyed the female cage fighter idea immensely and while I didn’t connect with the characters the way I would’ve like, the read itself was still thoroughly entertaining. This friends to lovers/brother’s best friend romance is written in dual POV. Readers will enjoy the fun storyline as well as the characters—both primary and secondary. Personally, I thought Leo, Emerson’s best friend, stole the show at the physic fair and strip club. After reading those scenes my abs hurt from laughing. But while I am not sure that this is meant to fall into the rom-com genre, it was far more amusing than I initially expected. After the first code was called amongst the friends… all bets were off. I read this book in one setting. The pace was fairly consistent, and the plot was fun and fresh. Female cage fighters deserve more books… we all read about male cage fighters—hell, they are some of my favorite books—but female cage fighters are short changed for sure. I think that readers will love Emerson—the daughter of a cage fighter who has the same dreams for herself—who never takes no for an answer and doesn’t allow anyone to dictate what she’s capable of achieving. As fierce of a fighter as she was, she was equally sweet with Joss. She wasn’t passive or submissive, but she wasn’t authoritative or dominate either… it was a great balance. And what a role model she was—#RebelsArmy!!! This romance was a bit of a slow burn but it’s rewarding watching as Joss’ eyes are opened to his long-time dormant feelings for his best friend’s little sister. The pair are 7 years apart in age and while I didn’t see that as taboo, I think some might categorize it as such and the author used it as a reason the two didn’t get together sooner. Overall, I think this book is going to appeal to a lot of readers. They will love the plot and characters and I would definitely recommend it. Solid four-star read for me and I look forward to reading Brittany Crowley again soon!

This a first read for my by Brittany Crowley and I LOVED it! Rebel and Cage are awesome but Rebel makes this book. She is hilarious and I laughed out loud so many times I lost count. I look forward to exploring more by this author and I definitely recommend for everyone to grab a copy of this book.

Emmy is aspiring to follow in her dad’s footsteps and be a MMA fighter, and she has always had a huge crush on her brothers’ best friend Joss, but when she goes on a road trip with some friends he is sent to bring her home and be a bodyguard for her. This is a well written flawless story which is fun, sweet, entertaining, and humorous which all lead to me being totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author, whose work I recommend for all.

I have been a fan of Brittany Crowley's writing since the beginning of her Cage series and my love has no waned but after reading Rebel, I have to say that she steamrolled me with all the emotion and heat that she put into her newest fictional couple Emmie and Joss. Brittany kept my heart strings tangled more than the sheets between her heroine and hero. She has never brought me to tears before but the waterworks appeared from time to time while reading. I don't know if it was being back in the arms of the Cage family that made me sentimental or that I felt all the emotions down to my toes or maybe a little of both but I was touched profoundly by Rebel and will most definitely be revisiting this couple that won the fight of love and took home the ultimate prize...each other's heart!
Emmie aka “Rebel” kept my body aching with laughter. Her and her bff's Leo and Penny's antics kept me up until the wee hours of the morning with no hope of getting any sleep. By the end I felt like Rebel was my girl and was sad to read the last page but I know that Brittany will not let her fans down and I am sure we will see many more escapades from Rebel in the future. She keeps things fun while still fighting tooth and nail for equality between the sexes both in and out of the ring. Brittany took “bad ass heroine” to the next level with Emmie and there was no way to resist her.
And if Brittany didn't dazzle me enough with a sexy sculpted kick ass heroine, she brought me to my knees with Joss who goes toe to toe with Rebel while still treating her like the “princess” that she is. He is swoony and hot in every sense of the words. He had me convinced he was Emmie's soul mate from the first page and I melted from the heat coming off of the two every time they were in the same room together. He is the perfect mixture of sweet, alpha bad ass, and provocative to keep me hanging onto his every word.
Brittany Crowley takes us back into the world of Cage family and gives us another fictional couple to watch go round for round in the ring of love. I highly recommend Rebel for a romance that will knock you out and leave you dazed long after the last page is read. Brittany has made more room in my heart for this MMA family that has grown more near and dear with each new story she created. I cannot wait to see what the Cage offspring will be up to in future books and hope that Brittany will not leave her readers waiting long to find out.

I have not read the other books before this, but I definitely will go back and do so now because this one was freaking fantastic and would love to get more info about this family!
Emmy Cage was born into a family of MMA fighters, so fighting was in her blood. As soon as she realized this was what she wanted to do, she started mercilessly training to get her where she needs to be. Due to her family, that are legends in the MMA world, she has even more stress on her shoulders to do the best. Oh and she has also been in love with her brother's best friend since she was 16. Even better, he is kind of her bodyguard too.
Joss is the epitome of a good guy and has a lot of hidden depth and BOY is he crazy alpha.... *Heart Eyes Emoji*, this guy is hot, sexy, smoldering, alpha, and protective... also he has a bit of a secret because even though he might be 7 years older than her, he might be interested in his best friend's sister who is also his boss' daughter.
This story is all about mental and physical strength, going after what you want, family, loyalty, and a last name that means something. SO freaking good, I cannot recommend it enough!

Brittany Crowley has a knock out on her hands with Rebel. This book was everything I could possibly want in a book. It had sassy heroines, swoon worthy men, MMA and banter that had you laughing out load one minute and blushing the next.
Emerson 'Rebel' Cage has always dreamed of becoming a MMA fighter.. and finally after years of patience, dedication and training, her chance to get in the octagon has finally arrived... now if she could only figure out what to do about her crush on her bodyguard then she would have everything she ever wanted...

Brittany you did an amazing job on this one. At first I thought t was difficult to understand the connection between Joss and Emmy. I'm guessing because it happened so fast between them. However, after history and being reminded that just because Joss wasn't able to have a relationship with Emmy, didn't mean that his heart wasn't there. It also didn't mean that he wasn't ready. Emmy and Joss had something from almost the start. However, time and loyalty seemed to be their down fall.
Emmy feel for Joss almost immediately after meeting him. Teen crush or whatever you call it, this man beckoned her. However, she was unable to get through to him. And after one embarrassing moment, she was finally ready to move on. Move on from Joss and finally take her life and career to the next level. Seems that Joss has other plans and not even loyalty, friendship or respect could have prevented him from moving towards Emmy. He still respected his boss and best friend. Yet, he was finally ready to go after what he wanted and what he needed. Watch out, Emmy!!!

I saw this cover come up on my Facebook a couple weeks back and right away I fell in love. It shows power and strength. I love a sports romance but one that stars a female athlete HELLO! that's amazing and amazing it was, this book captured me, wrapped its self and around my heart and wouldn't let go. Rebel is the baby of the family who has been training to uphold her fathers legacy but doing it on her own terms, no handouts, no help with getting fights. She's strong, independent and totally head over heels in love with her brothers best friend...who just happens to be her body guard. Joss oh sweet sweet Joss, he reminds me of my husband, so adorably sweet and sexy yet never afraid to protect whats his at all costs. Their chemistry together is swoon worthy. With the help of some pretty fanfreakingtastic friends and a couple shots of liquid encouragement she will prove to everyone just how strong she is, in more ways than one. I personally LOVED this book and I hope there is more to come from Brittany and this group of characters.

Omg this book was AMAZING!! Couldn't put it down I was hooked from the first page until the last. Brothers best friend books are always my favorite and this one is a top favorite for me now. Joss is everything you want and Rebel she's one bada** chick who takes no crap from anyone. #TeamRebelForever. Seriously while I was reading I felt like I was apart of this story and apart of the main characters life, I laughed so hard. She wrote all of the characters so well and everything came together so perfectly. This story was one of the best I've ever read, I loved everything about it and loved the characters. I want so much more from all of the characters and when it did end I missed them all so much. I seriously felt like I was apart of their families. Loved this book so hard. Everyone Must read this book.

Hopefully at this point you have read the Cage Brother stories, but even if you haven't you can read this one with missing serious backstories. (For the record...read them all, you'll love these arrogant tough Cage boys so much). Emerson is a legacy. She is also Daddy's little girl, and it may be a fight to the finish for him allow her to get into the MMA ring. Rebel lives up to her nickname in every conceivable way but she also needs to step back, grow up and learn to deal with the notoriety that comes with being a Cage. Rebel also knows what she wants and when she puts her mind to it...no one, not even her brother's best friend will be able to stop her from getting what she wants. Lots of fun moments and I'm completely head over heels in love with Leo...and Danny...and Joss...and Penny...and Rebel...and you know what I mean!

REBEL ROCKS!! And Joss roars! I love this story the two of them friends to lovers, brothers best friend to lovers and so much more. It's always fun when the gang you drooled, cried, roared at are now married with kids and them babies done growed up and made you so proud. Rebel does just that. Yeah she got her name from having fun and going against the grain, and she hasn't stopped. Now she is using the women who are lifting up her being a woman in the ring to give her the boost she needs to get her done. Yeah it's a wonderful read, Leo keeps the fun going and adds plenty of laughs, along with her family with the Cage Challenge. It's most definitely worth the read and knowing there is more to come will keep me watching this author.

This book was amazing!! Emerson, Rebel, Cage is a kickass protagonist who knows exactly what she wants and will do whatever it takes to get it. Joss is swoon worthy, I'm talking alpha male, throw you over the shoulder kind of guy. He knows his mistakes and is fixing them through actions rather than words. They're the perfect couple and I would recommend this for anyone looking for a sport romance filled with HOT guys!!!

Rebel was a totally awesome girl. I loved her take no nonsense attitude.She was having the time of her life at 22. Joss was a sculpted body guard who has been in charge of protecting Rebel. I want to throw my kindle as Joss was fighting his attraction to Rebel . Thank goodness he saw the " princess " he could have in his life. I so hope Quinn as well as Danny get a book.

Rebel, the next generation of Cage kids was so good. I loved it alot. Emerson aka Rebel was sassy, sarcastic and pretty awesome. Joss was swoony, sexy and all alpha. I loved loved Joss and Emmy, they were perfect together. I could not get enough of them. Oh and Daddy Zander, yes please! I love all of the Cage family and I can't wait for more!

This is my first book by this author and I was hooked. It had everything I love. MMA, brothers best friend, second chance and awesome secondary characters.

For the most part I enjoyed it. I didn't love it, but it was easy to read and the characters were enjoyable.
For me, it was built on the parts I always want the badass heroine to be along with a strong male lead. It just didn't always seem to flow very well.

this was a really great book! she is going to be in a fight so. so her friends take her on a road trip. only she doesnt know the guy she wants is going to be there to keep a eye on her. theres humor and tears. you wont believe what happens. a must read.

This is by far my favorite book so far Rebel is someone who doesn't take crap from noone but still needs her family with her 100%... She has a sweet side and she also a bad a$$ and her best friend leo is awesome we all need a leo... you will not be disappointed in this book....

It’s like Brittany Crowley poked around inside my bookworm head, took note of everything I love in a book, and added it to Rebel! I love her Bound by Cage series and when I found out there was a spin-off I just about lost my mind with glee! This book was everything I hoped it would be and more.
