Family ties, and someone dies…
Even though she has been busy bringing the pizzeria into the new year, Eleanora Ward is happy to lot one of her husband’s relatives stay with them for a couple of days. She enjoys getting to know another member of the family that she married into, and goes all out when her guest wants to throw a dinner party.
The dinner party is a success, but the morning after, a shocking murder is revealed. Ellie and Russell reach the chilling conclusion that the killer has to be someone they know.

This is a wonderful book and it had me in tears. I love this series and the characters of Russell and Ellie. I can’t wait for the next book!

Great story
I was surprised not only by who t g e victim was but equally so as to who the killer was. I was pretty survey knew who it was but was proven wrong.

Another great story

This is a quick, fun, read. When Russell's cousin comes to visit, what's the worst that can happen? Murder! Russell can't work the case...but, that's not going to stop him or Ellie from figuring this out.

Love this series
Papa Pacelli books are one of my favorite . I enjoy reading them. I feel whoever proofread this series does a great job. Patti is also a great writer.

Can a house be cursed with bad luck? When a visiting relative is murdered in their home, Ellie starts to wonder why so many people have been killed in the home they bought. A great addition to this series!

Jalapeño pizza murder
I gave this book this rating because it kept you twisting from one plot to another never really knowing who to pinpoint as the murderer. I suspected Daphne and Paul bit never suspected true.killer. it was a true twist to the plot.

Hot on the trail
Another great read. Love the characters and setting. Stories never get old and reading about them makes me feel like going to a friend's.

This was one good book.
As usual there was a murder but this one was friends and relatives. I was shocked at what happened and who did it. You should love it. I did.

Short sweet and to the point….I love how I can escape into one of her books and spend the day with the Pacelli’s…she is my personal stress reducer
