Rate this book

Avery Rivers is a country music sensation, selling records by the millions and playing to sold-out crowds. But behind that persona is Robert, a burned-out musician cracking under the pressure. He’s unable to write any new songs, and he wants out of the business—at least for a while. He changes his appearance and finds honest, hard work in Jackson, Wyoming. Maybe getting to be a regular guy for a while will get him past his block.

Hy Whitely was a championship bull rider until he watched his best friend thrown in the arena and decided the rodeo circuit was no longer the place for him. He wants to be plain old Zeke for a while, and when he returns to his family ranch, he bumps right into Robert—a one-night stand from his last rodeo appearance who is now working there as a ranch hand.

The heat between the men could sear the grass off the range, but each one is hiding a secret. Robert and Zeke, the men behind the public images, fall in love, but can they hold on when Avery and Hy are pulled back into the spotlight?

A sweet and fluffy romance that was sadly let down by the narration. Hesitant, stop/start narration and Robert sounding like a squeaky girl did not make for a comfortable listen. 😑

I absolutely adored this romance from Andrew Grey which focussed on two men who needed to get out of the spotlight for a short time - one from the bull rodeos which just cost him his best friend, the other from a country music tour which had killed his creativity.

Everything about this worked for me. Both men were honest and upfront about their feelings, there wasn't any messing around even though neither gave up who their more famous identities were until it was almost too late.

There's trouble on the ranch which Zeke part owns with his father and the pressures from that force him back into the rodeo. For Robert, his agent and manager have to pull him out when his location is leaked and a boatload of fans and paparazzi descend on the ranch.

The drama in this book was all plot driven, nothing was put there just for the sake of it, there wasn't any false dramady just to amp up the tensions, there's no push/pull or will they/won't they.

Zeke and Robert know they love each other, they're just not sure how they can make their disparate lives mesh together. I loved them together, this book is sexy without being too much, they're brilliant together and support each other through the difficult decisions.

There's a great bunch of secondary characters and I loved the ranch setting. I'd happily read more of this pair!

This was a very light read. The story didn't touch me as much as I wished, but it was nice and enjoyable enough. The narration was a bit sugary at times.

I was hooked by the premise of this story, where both main characters are hiding their celebrity personas and end up falling hard for each other. It's not a plot device I see often, but when I do I grab it up.

I love that Zeke and Robert fall for one another without knowing who the other one is in their public lives. But all good things must come to an end and when reporters and fans find out where "Avery Rivers" is staying, they flood in forcing Robert to come clean and decide if he's going to return to his old life.

There's not a lot of tension in the book, most of it comes from Robert and Zeke having a secret they're withholding, and later from whether the two can work out a way to be with one another even with a huge spotlight on them, but there's very little angst here.

I really enjoyed getting to know the characters, seeing their feelings bloom, and working out just how they would be able to be together.

I enjoy listening to Jeff Gelder's voice, I like the difference character voices, and the emotion Gelder infuses throughout the script. However, his pacing was off here and I found myself hyper-aware of it by the end.

There were a couple of scenes that had me tearing up, one in particular centering around Zeke's best friend Carson, and in all I enjoyed Don't Let Go, but the story doesn't flow seamlessly, there are some things that are dropped with no further explanation, which I would have liked to get, but the epilogue made up for a lot and had my heart light by the time this finished.

Contemporary romance with a dual POV, some heat, some feels, and a happy ending.

I liked the story. 3 stars
The narration was ok. 2 stars

***slightly spoilerish review***

Overall this is a sweet love story between two men who's hearts call for wide open land and hard work. It's unusual that one of them is a famous bull rider and the other a famous country singer. They fall for each other without knowing either's public persona. Just two guys with chemistry who click. There's no big emotional drama once they discover each other's identities. The challenge is how to overcome their demanding careers enough to work out as a couple.

I haven't read a lot of books by Andrew Grey yet. I'm going to try more of them because I like the writing and the flow of the story.

A Joyfully Jay review.

4.25 stars

Let me begin by saying Andrew Grey is an autobuy for me. He writes beautiful stories with interesting and loving men at the center. I’m happy to say Don’t Let Go is another winner. Robert and Zeke (I will refer to them by these names rather than their stage names.) are interesting and sweet, and I loved both of them from the start.

Robert’s burnout seemed real. Life on the road must be difficult…always having to be “on,” dealing with people who all want a piece of you, giving your all to an audience every night after traveling for days. It has to test even the strongest of men. I can also imagine what it would be like for Zeke, only he’s being beaten up by wild bulls over and over again. While that isn’t necessarily worse, having to witness his best friend’s death, thanks to one of those bulls, must have been devastating.

'Don't Let Go' had me holding on until the end and then...

things went sideways on me and letting go just seemed like the best thing to do...

I really enjoyed most of this story it was hella' good...so let's talk about the good and we'll get to the sideways in a bit...

Avery Rivers is a star in the country music industry. He's hot and everyone wants a piece of him. The problem is he's only got so many pieces to give and he's running low. If he doesn't catch a break soon, he's pretty sure he's going to become so broken there won't be any putting him back together again. So Avery decides it's time to man up and take control of things and he does. His concert tours done and people are talking about adding dates but Avery knows what his deal is for and he say 'no' just a big fat no, takes care of business, buys himself a pick-up truck and says 'I'll see ya all in six months.' and hits the road. Along the way he meets Hy Whitely on for him he's just plain old Zeke because Hy Whitely's a top performer on the pro rodeo circuit and if anyone knows how Avery's feeling it's Hy Whitely.

Zeke and Avery hook up for a night of good times and then they go their separate ways only to have their paths cross again when Avery's dad unknowingly gives the country star a job working on his ranch...the same ranch that Zeke's heading to for a much needed break.

Turns out that for both Avery and Zeke the ranch is just the break that they both need. Things start out good for the two as they work the ranch and get to know each other spending their days out on the range fixing fences, caring for the cattle and horses and their nights wrapped up in each other and sharing a passion that seems incendiary and feels even hotter. As the days pass each man comes to realize that sure the sex it great but they just really, genuinely like and care for the other.

So basically this as the gist of everything that I really liked about this book Zeke, Avery and their relationship as well there's a side story going on between Zeke and his father that's good and adds to the overall story and I enjoyed seeing Zeke and his dad work through their issues as the real world creeps back into the comfortable bubble that they've all been surrounding themselves with.

When word gets out as to where country music's hottest ticket Avery Rivers has slipped away to...well sh*t gets real and Avery and Zeke have to face not only their feelings but what the demands of real life will mean to their fledgling relationship and decisions need to be made if they're going to find a way through this.

If you plan on reading this book than you may want to stop here because this next part is a bit spoilerish but I'm going to try and keep it as vague as possible so the decisions up to you if you want to finish reading this review...

Ok, so far I have to say I was loving this one...it was coming in at a very solid 4 stars and then we got the the ending and I do mean the ending as in 'the epilogue'...it was too much. Here I've been reading this lovely story about two men with successful lives falling in love and struggling to keep their relationship solid and discreet even though they not hiding in the closet, neither are they out, proud and marching in any pride parades and yet when we get to the end we get an over oh so freakin' over the top public declaration. Now I realize that for some this is cool and they really love this kind of thing and to that I say 'cool' but for me it was just a big "No...no, no, no."

Things just made no sense since they've been keeping things on the down low and then suddenly this? and no I'm not saying what this was. If you've read the book you'll know and if not well I really don't want to spoil things too much. So in the end my 4 stars went down to 3.5 stars and while I liked most of the story the ending turned out to be a big wet blanket for me.

Jeff Gelder was the narrator for this story and while it's not my first time at the dance with this narrator and for the most part he did a solid job with the narration and certainly I had no problem in terms of understanding and when it came to the character voices things were good. However, when it came to the narration portion at times I found his voice to be a bit stilted and lacking the smooth tone that he had when voicing the characters. It wasn't an overwhelming issue and while it didn't really detract from my enjoyment of the story it was a bit of a minor niggle that was enough to catch my attention.

'Don't Let Go' for the most part was a 4 star listen for me with the ending being such a subjective issue. Unfortunately for me it was a detracting factor from my overall enjoyment of things but for others it could be the reason to add stars not take away...it's all about the personal preferences.

Robert wants to rest and recuperate, after months on the road and many concerts as Avery Rivers he is tired and not capable anymore to write a song.
So he makes himself unrecognizable and take off. At a night stop he meets a gorgeous man named Zeke and they have a great evening.

Zeke doesn’t want Robert to know he is the famous rodeo bull rider Hy Whitely, he had a great evening with Robert just as Zeke. When there is a chance to have another night together Zeke has to reject, his best friend is badly hurt and in a hospital.

They meet again... at Zeke’s fathers farm. Robert got there a job and Zeke is happy to have him. Robert works hard and makes many hours. Both men spend their days and nights together, their bond gets stronger. But both have their secrets... and secrets never last...

A sensitive story with two lovable hardworking guys. We get to know the ins and outs of running a farm and keeping wonderful horses. We get a look in the worlds of a famous artist and bull rider, and it’s not always fun. We are witness of the beautiful moments where songs are born. Both guys are charming, with strong characters.
The detailed way of writing shows us an eye-catching scenery, the rodeo, the farm, at a concert, out on the land...it’s a touching story and all wonderful put down.

I listened to the audiobook and didn’t care for the voice the narrator gave Robert. It was hard for me to think of him as a great country singer when he sounded so much like a pubescent boy. He did ok with everything else, but that voice kept taking me out of the story. Other than that I thought it was a good story. I liked Robert and Zeke. I like a good cowboy story.

It felt much longer - and I so enjoyed this relatively low angst finding home story. Between the Rodeo and the Music it actually had a pretty diverse feel. It had moments of emotion - but it's length prevented you from getting too wrapped up. I would have loved another 50 pages of this!

Don’t Let Go by Andrew Grey is one of the most beautiful romances I have read in a long time. Two men with vastly different careers need a break. Both want and need time out of the spotlight to rest and rejuvenate. With the pretense of their public images left behind it is their “normal” personas who find one another and embark on a path to love, contentment, and home.

Avery Rivers, aka Robert Cummings, is at the height of his career as a country/western singer. Coming off of a grueling road tour, Avery embarks on some much-needed time to rest, reenergize, and get his song-writing mojo back. First he stops at the rodeo…

Hy Whitely, aka Zeke, is a professional bull rider with a shot at becoming the new PBR World Champion. Yet, the sport is taking its toll and Hy longs for the serenity of being back on the ranch with horses and cattle. His wishes are derailed by family drama…

A chance encounter brings Robert and Zeke together. The chemistry is immediate and intense. Robert and Zeke don’t share their professional personas with each other, and surprisingly neither catches on. Tragedy prevents a second night in each other arms and it appears that one night is all they will share…

Loving the way Zeke talked about Jackson, Wyoming, Robert heads there to recharge his internal batteries and work on his song writing. Maybe he will even get a job as a ranch hand. Yep, you guessed it, Robert winds up on Zeke’s family ranch.

Passion continues to build, emotions take over, and hearts combine. But secrets always have a way of revealing themselves and Robert and Zeke learn of the their Avery and Hy personas. As they struggle with friction between feelings and reality, they settle with “what is meant to be, will be”. Each understands the pressure and demands of the other and grapple with desires and dreams.

Don’t Let Go proves that when it’s right it is right. When love is in the heart, compromise is welcome, and the world is one’s oyster. Fame and fortune may bring riches of a kind, but fullness of the heart and contentment bring riches that are invaluable.

This was good. Not great but good. I really enjoyed it even though it was mostly predictable. I was glad that these two didn't go all dramatic when they learned the real identity of the other. That would have been drama for drama sake and I hate that. Grey avoided that pitfall, YES! That bumped this to 4 stars, lol.

While I find it hard to believe a very famous person could go off the grid and nobody recognize them, I do enjoy the trope. Avery just wants some peace and quiet so he can relax and write music again. His management isn't exactly against him doing this they also don't want him to disappear and not tour. Which is dumb because you would think managers etc would want their money maker to recharged so they can be ready to make them even MORE money, but whateves.

And Zeke is a bull rider (yikes why that a thing??) who wants to hang up his spurs but can't because he needs the money so he can help his father and their farm/ranch. When Zeke suffers a great loss, he meets Avery but doesn't recognize him. they share a night together and wouldn't you know it? Zeke's father just so happens to hire Avery to be a helper on the ranch and Zeke comes home and BOOM. Time for the falling in love. :)

The narration was very nice and before I knew it the story was over. Like, how is that possible? It's the sign of a good story where you don't realize how long you've been listening. I swear it seemed like only minutes. I do recommend the audio.

Overall the story is 3.5 and the audio bumped it to 4.

“Don't let go, no matter what, no matter how, just don't let go.” ~ Avery Rivers (Don't Let Go)

When doing what you do to have a job working at what you love becomes a burden, it's time to change direction. Both Avery Rivers (Robert), a popular country singer, and Hy Whitley (Zeke), a rodeo champion, of 'Don't Let Go' by Andrew Grey, are learning that the hard way; but changing directions sets them on a course toward each other with the promise of love and a happier life.

Robert has followed a demanding schedule of tours, recording, and press events for years and he's tired – tired of being tired, stressed, and pulled in so many different directions at once that he feels as if he will be split apart. He desperately needs some downtime, some time to himself to be able to rest, regroup, and write music. Robert hasn't been able to do that for quite a while; if he doesn't get some relief soon, he may give up on music altogether.

After the end of his last tour, Robert buys a truck and heads out west. The town he ends up in is preparing for a huge rodeo show the next day, but fortunately, Robert is able to get a room, one which most people would not be able to afford. While relaxing at the hotel bar, he meets a handsome young man, Zeke, who is here for the rodeo. Robert and Zeke hook up for the night and enjoy each other's company as well as the sex, knowing it will only be a one-night stand. Since both men want to be seen as the person, not the “personality” their occupations give them, neither tells the other about their star status. The next day, they leave with regret, wishing they could have had more time together.

Zeke does very well at the rodeo, but his high doesn't last long. When his best friend is mortally injured, it makes Zeke rethink ever participating again. He goes back home to his father's farm. While he was gone, his father has hired a new ranch hand; Zeke is surprised to find that the new man is none other than the one he wants to see again, Robert. Zeke and Robert get the “more time” they are wishing for. Their relationship becomes more serious and they are both happy, but, unfortunately, life doesn't always turn out the way we want it to. Robert's people find him and want him to come home. Even worse, Avery's fans and the press find Robert and chaos erupts on the farm. Robert has to explain to Zeke and his father why all these strangers and reporters are hanging around. He tells them that he is Avery Rivers. Zeke can't be too mad because he has been hiding who he is as well, but the “hordes” are disturbing his life as well as everyone there, including the animals! Robert realizes that in order for anyone to see any peace, he has to leave. With sadness, Robert goes back to his other life, one he knows will be filled with people who want to control, not care about him. He and Zeke haven't made promises to each other, but both know they are in love and want to stay in touch. The thing is, long distance relationships seldom end well.

This was an endearing story about two men who only want to be loved just for themselves. Robert and Zeke are good men who have gotten wrapped up in the glory and fame of their reputations and need to find themselves again, preferably, with someone else who understands. Andrew finds a way for them to balance it out and find their happy ending. Thanks, Andrew, for reminding me that love can find a way.

✔ Letto!
Parla d'amore vero, forte. Pronti ad essere presi nelle mani forti di un cowboy e non lasciarsi andare mai.
Ho.amato.questa.storia!😍
Per me è ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤ ❤

I immediately connected to this book and these two main characters, Zeke and Robert. Both MCs were very strong in personality but also incredibly genuine and sweet. They meet as a one night stand, but their relationship does not reflect that. The entire time I was reading, I just felt like I was reading about two people who had known each other their whole lives. They were very at ease with each other and it was a nice reflection of this authors writing. They were almost immediately comfortable with each other but it did not seem forced or ingenuous, it just seemed like they had a deeper connection that helped build the foundation for their relationship.

Zeke and Robert were also both very emotionally mature characters. There was no angst or saying things they did not mean, they were both very level headed and truly just easy to enjoy characters. This was the perfect book if you want a gentle but sweet romance!

4.5 stars - Andrew Grey was my long time go to author for a comfort story. Then I started struggling with some of his more recent stuff. This book, and yes, I realize it’s about two years old at this time of writing this review, brings me back to his old stuff that I enjoyed so much. I loved everything about Robert and Zeke. This was a great warm and fuzzy read. I wish there had been a little more steam. 😉

This audiobook was so bad that it undoubtedly colored my impression of this book, which is why I assigned three stars instead of two.

Aside from the narration though, it was a mediocre version of half a dozen other books about "entertainers" needing to escape/regroup and finding the loves of their lives. Literally, every move was predictable from the first chapter on.

This story grabbed me from the first page. Hy and Avery ( aka Zeke and Robert ) had serious chemistry from the start. I love Avery. The way he took charge of his career when he was just burned out. Hy losing his best friend when he was about to retire. Their one night that was not going to be forgotten. Here comes karma, Robert meets Zeke's dad. The adventure and love affair is about to begin. This story is just a true love affair with cowboys and music. Long distance phone calls, love songs and rodeo. Andrew Grey is a storyteller with no equal. I would love to read more of these characters, but I will just have to read it again. Another winner, Mr. Grey.

Avery Rivers, aka Robert Cumming, is one of the hottest country western music stars. All the touring has worn him out and he takes off to get some me time and hopefully write some songs. Travelling west, he ends up at a rodeo where he meets Zeke Whittingly (who turns out to be a rodeo star called Hy Whitely.) Through a twist of fate, Robert ends up working on Zeke's family ranch and the two begin a romance. Most of the conflict was self-inflicted due to their careers and Zeke's relationship with his dad. The story was short and cute, but I listened to the audio and Robert's voice was really irritating.

Blurb:

Avery Rivers is a country music sensation, selling records by the millions and playing to sold-out crowds. But behind that persona is Robert, a burned-out musician cracking under the pressure. He's unable to write any new songs, and he wants out of the business - at least for a while. He changes his appearance and finds honest hard work in Jackson, Wyoming. Maybe getting to be a regular guy for a while will get him past his block.
Hy Whitely was a championship bull rider until he watched his best friend thrown in the arena and decided the rodeo circuit was no longer the place for him. He wants to be plain old Zeke for a while, and when he returns to his family ranch, he bumps right into Robert - a one-night stand from his last rodeo appearance - who is now working there as a ranch hand.
The heat between the men could sear the grass off the range, but each one is hiding a secret. Robert and Zeke, the men behind the public images, fall in love, but can they hold on when Avery and Hy are pulled back into the spotlight?

Who doesn’t love a bit of the mistaken identity/double life romance?? In this case, both our lovely men are hiding who they are, or rather what they do for a living!

Avery is the hugely famous music star who needs a break from the pressure of touring to her his alter ego, Robert, find his music again, and Hy is the bull rider he sees at the rodeo. Zeke meets Robert and they have one wonderful night together but then he must get back on with the business of riding bulls and trying to win the PBR world championship.

Robert buys a truck and starts out on the road to finding himself and the beauty Zeke told him about in his home state of Wyoming. As Robert arrives in small town, he gets lunch and meets a rancher looking for a ranch hand. It’s like fate steps in so Robert accepts and guess who’s family ranch he’s working on??

I’m almost hugging myself with glee at this point, as Zeke comes home to help his dad and he finds Robert right there and twice as handsome as he remembers! With all the secrets, will these guys ever work it out?
You bet your life they do, this is an Andrew Grey book we are talking about!

Oh the lovely horse riding hard work, sexiness and secrets make this a glorious story and the ending is just as wonderful as I wanted it to be. Of course there’s the will they, wont they bit, but I like my romance low angst, and this is it.

The narration is just as superb as I’ve come to expect from Jeff Gelder. His smooth voice and charming delivery are just right for this story.

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous!

Highly recommended!

**Copy provided to Bayou Book Junkie by DreamSpinner Press for my reading pleasure in hopes of an unbiased opinion, a review was not a requirement.**

Don’t Let Go by Andrew Grey is what I come to expect from this author. It’s a well-written story, with real characters, a sweetness that always makes the HEA that much better. Avery/Charlie has everything he wants, but sometimes that’s not even enough. When he finally forces a break for himself, he starts learning about who Charlie is and what he wants. Zeke’s known what he wants since he was a child and it’s within his grasp but the loss of his friend has really affected him. Both men meet and neither man recognizes the other. Their one night turns into more, and soon they have to figure out what they really want from life.

I loved both Charlie and Zeke, and especially Zeke’s father. He’s the typical rancher character, but he wasn’t putting up with any BS. He thought nothing of calling each man out and reminding them what’s important. Charlie and Zeke were both hard workers and were the best at what they do. But watching the two focused, workaholic men try to carve out a life together was enjoyable. I mean, I rolled my eyes some because it was so obvious, but you know, they got there, eventually. ;) They couldn’t figure things out too quickly, or how could they appreciate what comes easily?

Honestly, Andrew Grey’s books are my legal drug. I enjoy stories that will suck me in and let me shut out the world for the time it takes to read them. I love stories with characters I can fall in love with and that I’m rooting for them to get it together. I love books that don’t have unnecessary drama or angst and stories that give me the HEA I’m looking for in a romance book. And, with this book and so many others of this author, I get everything I want. And, no matter how many books he releases, I’ve never felt like any character or book is a duplication of another. He seriously just has a wide arrange of characters and storylines, I’m always impressed with each new addition.

If a book has a way of bringing tears to my eyes it deserves five stars because I don’t tear up at every book I read, but Andrew Grey’s characters always have a way of burrowing deep into your heart and make you love them.

The way Andrew wrote Robert and Zeke’s weariness and heartache felt like it was mine and that I was feeling everything right along with them every step of the way.

Robert ‘Avery Rivers’ Cummings is a wonderful character, he wanted to do what he could to keep everyone happy but finally realized you have to keep yourself happy and healthy in order to do the same for others. He was a very relatable and likable and realistic character. He didn’t make things unattainable and worked and fought to keep what he wanted. He wasn’t whiny or a bully, which I appreciate.

Zeke is a hard-working character who also fought for what he wanted in his personal and professional life. I loved him and am having a hard time to describe how I feel about him because nothing feels acceptable. Zeke is a simple man who just wants to recover from the pain of his friend's throw and reevaluate what being in the rodeo really means to him and the dangers that come with it.

A country star and a rodeo star give the phrase “long distance relationship” a new meaning and made me ache for both Robert and Zeke. Each feels the pain from being away from the other and seeing each other when they have a free day here or there.

I enjoyed this book. Avery Rivers is country music star who is getting burnt out and wants to take back control over his life. He tells his agent he's taking a break and takes off out west. Hy Whitely, also known as Zeke, watches his best friend get thrown just as he starts considering taking a break from bull riding. These two men run into each other at the rodeo that Hy is riding in, but don't expect to run into each other again. Avery, also known as Robert, continues to head west and ends up starting a job as a ranch hand. He grew up on a ranch and wants to get back to the earth to find his music again. The irony is that the man who hired him is Zeke's father.

I liked both men. They were straightforward and wanted time to sort out their current careers when they find each other and have a connection that they can't deny. I liked how Robert helps Zeke put things into perspective at times. I liked their connection and that they didn't add drama to the complicated situation that they were in, especially as word leaks out about where Avery Rivers is. I loved the conversation that Robert has with Zeke's dad before he leaves the ranch for a while. I do wish that we could have seen some of the conversations that they had when they were apart; it seemed that Robert just took control of sorting out a solution for them and I was hoping they'd work on it together.

All in all, I liked the book and the characters.

Don’t Let Go is one of the most sentimental stories Andrew Grey has written. It’s the story of two men whose lives are spent in the spotlight of public acclaim but want privacy and quiet to recharge their batteries.
Avery Rivers, aka Robert Rivers, is a famous singer who writes his own music. However, he’s been blocked recently from inspiration for new songs, even though his manager and publisher are demanding it. He decides to quit the tour circuit and try to live the life of an ordinary cowboy on a ranch in Wyoming.
Hy Whitely, aka Zeke Whitely, is a bull riding champion who is trying to win the world championship when his best friend and travel partner is killed in the rodeo ring. The stress of competition and the tremendous grief of losing his friend cause him to go home to his father’s ranch to decide what his future is going to be. He may even leave the rodeo business, that is, until he learns a secret his father has been keeping from him.
It’s on this ranch that Avery and Hy meet and fall in love. They know it can’t last but until their secrets spill into the mainstream press they try to live the quiet life of rancher and cowboy. Will they have to leave their public professions behind or will they be able to simply retire to the ranch as they both crave? It’s a great story, one that will grip you from the first page to the end of the story. The epilogue will grab your heart and satisfy the most ardent romance reader.

There is something about Andrew Grey’s characters that makes them just go straight to my heart and Robert and Zeke are among my faves! I loved these two and their journey! Two men famous in the real world, just wanting a bit of peace and real life aside from the limelight.
I felt for these two right away, granted they are living their dreams but they are also struggling for something real and away from the fame side. Robert is a successful country music singer, Zeke a bull rider and it was supposed to be one quick night, but then these two find themselves working together on Zeke’s ranch and everything changes.
These two build a great relationship together, away from the spotlight. They are dealing with things as they come but of course the celebrity factor has to play a part in their story! They live very different, demanding lives and it’s going to be a test to see if they are really meant to be.
I loved this book, there was action and romance and the drama wasn’t over the top, it was a part of their journey! I wanted these two to be happy, to find that love and peace that they both so desperately needed! Andrew Grey delivers another story that I fell in love with and could not put down!
