Kartik fell in love with Ashima the very first time he saw her. She was everything he had ever imagined in his dream girl – his Angel. As their friendship bloomed into deep love, culminating into marriage, he became her Teddy, her confidant and an eternal support. But in trying to be with her, Kartik made a choice that broke his father's heart and hopes. As Kartik and Ashima gear up to step into the next phase of their relationship, life seems like an overload of joy and love. He is confident his love for Ashima will win over all odds, even his father. Little did he know that things were going to change drastically, forever. Why does Ashima marry someone else? Why does Kartik accept it silently? And why is life so unpredictable? This is a story of deep love that knows no bounds, relationships that break all barriers, and a promise – I am Always Here with You.
I am always here with you is a story of Kartik and Ashima, but can someone really be with you, no matter whatever the situation is? The plot revolves around their love story with a setting of Dehradun and Noida. They are madly in love; their love is so deep that they didn't care about anybody else.
Kartik is well built while Ashima is beautiful in her own ways. They first met in school, and their relationship grows with time. They got married to each other and soon expecting a baby. Life is all good, but for Kartik, something is amiss. In the journey of love, he lost a person who was his ideal. As time flies, Kartik tries his best to mend the relationship with his father, with the help of Ashima. But things will take a sloppy turn, and leave everybody in pain and torment.
In the middle of the story, Himanshu Rai gives a disclaimer to not read the story further if you're too emotional. The same point I read in Ajay K. Pandey's novel You are the best wife. Before the disclaimer, the story is sweet, after that, it took a dramatic turn for the characters as well, for readers too. Indian parents and their love for engineering are found in this book. Kartik's father wants him to pursue Maths and become an engineer, but he opts Arts. As a typical Indian father, he stopped talking to Kartik and blames Ashima for everything. Kartik and Ashima's bond touches the heart.
The language is simple, but grammatical errors, spelling mistakes, and printing errors are noticeable. The author effortlessly narrates the story in the past and present, but the cover page is not striking. The characters are a bit dull, and their expectations from each other move forward the story. I like the way Himanshu Rai describes the female protagonist's pain. Sanjeev and Rashmi played a short, but indispensable role. Rashmi's persona felt a little bit unrealistic. The last three chapters felt abruptly written. I feel a little emotional when I read Kartik's letters. Overall, this book is a journey of love with desolation. I recommend it to newbies and romantic fiction lovers.
A loving relationship which could brave all odds and stand ground to its belief is rare to witness in the contemporary world. While people are going ahead in life forgetting the past, to stay rooted in your idea of love amidst fickle and fake ideologies is beautiful.
I Am Always Here With You is a heartwarming story of Kartik and Ashima, the two love birds who fell in love in their teenage, that stands upright amidst all rough storms. Kartik is head over heels in love with Ashima and opts for Arts subject in his +2 against the will of his father. This draws the father and son apart resulting in a sour relationship. The time comes when Ashima is pregnant and because of complications in her pregnancy, they call Kartik's parents to stay over. After repeated attempts to reconcile with his father's anger, Kartik is left defeated and bruised. When his father did realize, something unpredictable & unimaginable happened. This turned the entire course of their lives.
The author attempts to paint a dreamy relationship between Kartik and Ashima which is fraught with pain and unexpected brutalities of destiny. Their love stood against the ordeals so well that I found it hard to believe if something as good as this can ever exist. A love so pure and devoted is hard to find which is illustrated in this book very nicely. Change is an inevitable element and to deal with it asks for grit and courage. The bond between a father and a son is also depicted well.
The sudden change in the plotline puzzled me and the resulting portrayal of the sadness gripping the lives of the character made my heart sink. The letters which Kartik wrote were heart-wrenchingly beautiful. They spoke volumes of the love between a parent and his offspring. I am moved by the narrative.
With a good characterization and smooth transition between the past and present, the book does manage to engage its readers. The language is simple and comprehensible. So, its quite easy to connect with the story. The storyline might not be very unique but a sound narration makes for a good reading experience.
For a good and romantic contemporary read, this book can definitely be picked up!
"I Am Always Here For You" by Himanshu Rai is going to take you to a journey of two classmates becoming friends to soulmates. As they are moving on in life together, something disastrous happens. Their whole life gets affected, relationships gets affected.
➡ The cover of the book truly shows the love between two friends-turned-family. ➡ The title may sound cliché when you start the book, but later you will realise that it is appropriate to the story. ➡ Easy going story with perfect timing and decent language. ➡ Plot building as well as characterisation are strong points in the book. ➡ Involves trauma, so get a box of tissues ready. ➡ Loved the idea of love letters and the flashbacks.
All in all, it's a lovely story of two soulmates embracing their childhood love.
Couples who are pregnant might want to read this book as the author has written so beautifully.
Book: I Am Always Here With You Author: @authorhimanshu Genre: Romance My Rating: 3.8/5🌟 🌸 Tbh, when I began with the book, I was so sure it would be an absolute cliché! It is cliché, mind you, but not completely. The cliché bits include insta-love, the high-school-sweetheart nicknames, a son rebelling against a father for his girl and families reuniting after the couple are expecting a child. However, the plot was really really different and I honestly didn't see it coming! There's a supernatural bit to it too, which makes it all the more interesting. The best part of the story is, it's HIGHLY emotional. In fact, at one point there's a #disclaimer from the author, stating if you're weak at heart, you shouldn't be continuing! And HONESTLY, I literally sobbed through parts of the story, whereas I didn't have the tiniest idea that this would happen, when I began reading. 🌸 The story got monotonous at places, one of the reasons being - the use of SAME words repeatedly, not to mention the cliché phrases. Also, in some places, the events lacked connection with the previous ones, even though these were subtle. And lastly, the language could definitely do with some polishing! 🌸 Inspite of everything, the read was enjoyable and there were quite a few life-lessons to learn! 🌸 - - - - Thankyou for the review copy @authorhimanshu . Best wishes to you! :) - - - -

My notion of immortal or undying love is that it’s a sort of a cheesy, overdone concept that people just can’t seem to get enough of writing about. In literature, at least. It might have happened to people in real life – I’m not denying or mocking it. But the number of times that people have used this idea actually boggles my mind. Himanshu Rai’s I am Always Here With You is yet another story that uses this timeworn concept and tries to bring some iota of unseen emotion to it.
I am Always Here With You is a love story – as I’ve mentioned before – of Kartik and Ashima, two people whose character sketches are barely distinguishable from each other. When Kartik moves to a new school in Delhi, his thoughts are like that of any other kid – how will I adjust? But on his first day, he makes Ashima’s acquaintance and is immediately besotted with her. As days pass, they begin to spend more and more time with each other and it is not long before they fall in love.
Kartik, being an only son, has a best friend in his father, who has high hopes that Kartik will study engineering, which the son wants to do, too. But when Ashima comes into Kartik’s life, his priorities change, much to the fury of his usually friendly and accommodating father. A rift begins to break them apart and even though, a few years later, Kartik and Ashima are happily married, this rift still hurts him to no end.
What happens when something happens that will break the family apart in ways that they never thought were possible? Will Kartik be able to repair these bonds or does fate have something else in mind for this family? This forms the rest of the story.
I have a couple of points that I did actually quite like about this book.
There are places where you actually feel the pain and the heartbreak that the characters are going through. So much that your brows knit up and you are on the brink of heartbreak. But then you just want the sadness to be over.
The concept of a love such as the one between Kartik and Ashima, I’ve seen in just one couple so far in my life. But it is such a compelling notion that it warms me up from the inside and simply makes me want to curl up and dwell on it for a long time.
And that’s it.
While the plot and the concept are bearable – good even – there are a lot of things about this narrative, about this story that could have been improved.
Language – I’m all for more people trying their hand at bringing out different stories to the masses. But when the language is merely okay, there isn’t much that it is doing to help forward the intention of the book.
Writing style – There is a childish quality to the writing style that prevents the story from being called a piece of literature. Even for a piece of emotional yet light reading, the style isn’t something that I am a fan of.
Descriptions – When a man describes a woman – and it is not just in this one – he usually tends to describe that “she is so beautiful, her lipstick was pretty, her nails were artfully done, her hair was combed et al”. This is a vague description of how a woman looks. Not what a woman is. Talk about her strengths. Talk about how she talks. Talk about how she makes you feel. Describing just her beauty is passé.
Plus, this book is written in first person and a couple of times, when there was a hug, it went something on the lines of “she threw her arms around my perfect physique.” No.
Spelling mistakes – There are so many spelling mistakes peppered throughout the book, I wonder – what was the editor doing?
Logic – In many places, this one important quality is missing. They might be calculation mistakes, but when you’re writing a book and putting it out for the people to read, you have to be very careful. For example:
Kartik was in his tenth class, and it was his first day at school.
Sanjeev and Rashmi are the same age as Kartik and Ashima – 24 years old. And yet, Sanjeev is an accomplished surgeon and Rashmi is a practicing gynecologist. Nope, nope, nope, nope. I’m not going into explanations here, unless they are coincidentally prodigies.
Contradictory sentences – I parked my car on the side and asked her to step out. I rushed to the other side to open the door. I took her hand and helped her to step out of the car.
Plenty of sentimental quotes – misplaced – I appreciate the effort of the author in trying to bring sentimental explanations everywhere. But the problem here is that inserting these quotes in the middle of a narrative do not make them great. Instead, they become pretty annoying.
Quite a few clichés – In addition to the undying love trope, even the one about bereaved better halves has been overdone in Indie literature as well as in Bollywood. This is another book that reinforces those stereotypes.
But despite having so many shortcomings, for me, those chunks of feel-worthy paragraphs made me like this book a little, elevating it from a 1.5 or 2 to a 2.5 star book.
If you’re looking for a moderately touching love story and don’t mind these above negatives (that are from my perspective), do give this one a try.
As the name suggests, "I am always here with you" is a romantic fiction coming from the hot-selling author of "My mute Girlfriend". The story showcases a "Perfect couple" and their journey from the teenage love to getting married and furthermore a new life adding to their family. Earlier it wasn't that easy for Kartik- the male protagonist, since for Ashima he did almost everything, even went against his dad and his dream to see Kartik as an engineer, just to get her love by his side. Eventually everything went great, they got married soon and their love blossomed with this baby on the way, nothing they could ask for until things fall apart in a tragic accident. Kartik is dead, leaving behind his love, his beautiful pregnant wife. Ashima on the other hand can not comprehend the fact that Kartik is no more in her life and left her alone to take care of herself and her child at such a young age. This emptiness and shock leads her to sever depression and with the complications in her pregnancy everyone is worried about her condition, even Kartik. Soon after his death, Kartik realized he was still able to see and hear everything around, he could feel his soul still being left on earth and around her wife but no more could he touch or feel. His spirit was left for an unknow reason to witness every single heart wrenching deatils. It kills him to see her wife in that condition but soon the letters he wrote every month till his death for his unborn child, help Ashima bring back to life. But what next? Will she be happy again? Will she move on? Will the child survive? And most of all will she ever re-marry?

3.5 stars! I Am Always Here With You by Himanshu Rai I have read the previous book by the author – My Mute Girlfriend and it took me with total surprise. The storyline was unpredictable and unique, since it was based on real incidents. So even before starting off with this one, my expectations were set high and fortunately, I wasn’t let down. The blurb of the book gives away a good chunk of what the reader can expect, but the book does have its surprise moments. The underlying theme of the story is the message of faith and promise. The story revolves around two major characters – Kartik and Ashima who go through all the phases of a relationship – joy, sorrow and everything in between. Their love story is enriched with happy as well as sad moments. The crests and troughs in their relationship is a validation to the point of how real relationships can get in fiction. This is one of the things I enjoy reading. Their love faces many challenges and when you least expect takes one nasty and drastic twist. A little punch is added to the drama. There is a lot of drama in the book. The narration is lucid but the characters lacked more depth. Kartik’s character is better portrayed as compared to Ashima’s. It is an emotional as well as dramatic read. The story oscillates from past to present as the plot keeps building up. The storyline isn’t very unique, but it’s simple and the growth the author has made since his last book is very much visible. Apart from that, it is a wonderful read especially for the romance fanatics.
The second book of the author of the best - seller "My Mute Girlfriend", never fails to remain true to its title. The author has weaved a genuine love story with every emotion portrayed beautifully, that it lingers in your mind a long time after you have put it down. The journey begins with the childhood love story of Kartik and Ashima, which begins with extreme friendship and unfolds into a soulful love story. Kartik falls for Ashima at first sight and considers her as his Angel and Ashima finds her Teddy in him. Just like other love stories, they go through ups and downs to finally get married against Kartik's dad's wishes. Everything goes smoothly in their love life with them eagerly awaiting their gift of love: their baby! But as fate would have it, a night changes everything topsy- turvy and Kartik ends up watching Ashima marrying someone else. So why does Kartik accept it silently watching her at a distance? Why is life so unpredictable? Read on to unravel the answers to these questions and come fall in love with Kartik and Ashima's eternal love story!!! Rating : Title: 10/10 Cover: 10/10 Plot: 10/10 Narration: 10/10 Characters: 9/10 Overall: 10/10 Age : 15 years & above.
⚫️ The protagonists of the story are Ashima and Kartik.
⚫️ The opening chapter of the book starts with Ashima the wife or Kartik is marrying and Kartik is emotional and overwhelmed seeing her in Red Lehenga.
⚫️ Then story falls back 3 years in the past.
⚫️ The story runs in two frames simultaneously. Past and present.
⚫️ Story majorly includes Ashima and Kartik’s teenage love story, school life, their married life etc.
⚫️ Written in simple language yet too beautiful.
⚫️ You want to read more and more of it.
⚫️ Unique plot.
⚫️ Filled with every emotions.
⚫️ Few chapters are really emotional and heart touching.
⚫️ Their teenage love story part is bit regular I felt but it was necessary to complete the story.
⚫️ At some point I found both characters slight juvenile.
⚫️ Overall really good one.
⚫️ I rarely like romance novels but definitely this one touched my heart.
The book shares the tale of "perfect couple" whose relationship became stronger with time and tested them with every reality of life. Here love is almost deep soul level where one doesn't need to say every single thing to partner yet the other one would understand completely. Rather than just focusing on the couples the book rotates around families and friends and giving a subtle but clear message of how they are important in our life. Almost midway through the book, there's a Gothic twist which was completely unexpected. Each and every feeling of Kartik, his joys, sharing old memories, writing letters to his unborn child, his pains are painted in a beautiful way. almost picturesque.
Himanshu Rai is a telecom professional, currently living in Noida who has an amazing storytelling skill. His previous book, “My Mute Girlfriend” is listed in best romantic novels of 2018. He truly has the skill of enabling the readers to visualize the story as they go ahead. Kartik is in love with Ashima the moment he saw her in their early teens. She was his everything- his angel. As the times flew, their relationship moved from best friends to marriage, and he became her eternal love- her Teddy! But as he fulfilled his vows to his love, he broke the ones he made to his role model- his dad. But somewhere in his heart, he knew he would win back his father and lead a happily ever after together. But somewhere something goes wrong. Ashima is getting married to someone else and Kartik is silent about it. This is my first book of the author and I have heard a lot of appreciation for his previous works. The book is extremely well written, decent representation of love. Both the characters Kartik and Ashima are easily relatable and would definitely make the reader fall in love with them. If you are a very emotional person then I would advise you to sit with a box of tissues because you are going to cry like hell. The story is very very emotional and touching. The cover itself is very attractive and relating to the concept of the story. Author has kept the language easy and the plot simple yet unique. The story flashes in the past and present simultaneously. Filled with all the fragile part of life like school life, the evolution of friendship to love, marriage and pregnancy the author portrayed everything so beautifully and felt so real. Would definitely recommend this book to all those millennials out there. But expecting ladies please stay away from the book as you might get way too emotional and that’s not advisable for you as well as the baby. A heart touchy story: 4/5
I Am Always Here With You by Himanshu Rai is a romantic fiction. The title totally justifies the plot of the novel. Blurb seems to be more gripping than the actual story inside.❤️ . . . The story is about two people - Kartik and Ashima. Kartik fell in love with Ashima the very first time he saw her. She was everything he had ever imagined in his dream girl. Friendship blossomed in love and then culminated into marriage. Everything was smooth in their life. Kartik was the constant support of her but, in trying to be with her, he broke his father's heart and hopes. He was confident that one day he will win over all the odds but things changed drastically, forever. Ashima and Kartik broke apart and this is where the actual story starts!
I was hooked to the story from start till end. The portrayal of love and then tragedy truly hit my heart. It was something unusual. Narration was up to the mark. Story was too cheesy but that was required for the plot of the book
Characters were perfectly developed. From kids to teenagers to adults, everything was aptly written. I loved the character of Kartik. The way he is so supportive towards his love and still wants to amend things with his father.
The cover of the book with a couple on cycles is more than perfect. It relates to story and has a meaning to it. The title too in context of story feels appropriate. It couldn't have been better.
The story is very predictable in first half but got interesting in later half of it. Narration is amazing, language is easy and author has outstandingly displayed the emotions through his words. The story portrays deep love which has no bounds and is endless.
Highly recommended for those who believe in love, looking for unique storyline and love emotional stories.
First and most author has done a fantastic job in expressing his story in right path. At the start you will see Kartik feels sad while seeing her wife getting married and it is for the ‘Obvious Reason”. After which the flash back starts and I was attached to the first half of the story that I totally forgot that obvious reason.I felt defeated when the tragedy happened. I liked that part in the book.
The charm of the first half was missing in second half. At times only the flashback inside flashback saves from boredom.
An intelligent book where author balanced the illogical facts with his Pre-mention of the further story. With that mention you will no longer feel odd. This book has too much love emotion flowing and you will surely dive in but be prepared for the major fall. You will be weakened at one point for sure.
Love is what we feel than what we see. The plot and the narration too felt the same way. You might feel exaggerated at times but the family are meant to be that way. They get angry for small things and breaks down way too for. But when you need them they will be there for you. That scope was beautifully expressed in this novel.
This book is a quick read one. I wouldn’t say that it is perfect for romance lovers but you could definitely pick this book if you want to have and feel the deep pain of love. This book will interest you truly on your mood level.
” I am Always Here With You” is a blend of romance and love with a heartbroken backdrop which might pull you inside at some points.

I Am Always Here With You is a romantic fiction written by the hotselling author of My Mute Girlfriend Himanshu Rai. It is his 2nd published novel. It is published by Shrishti Publication.
I Am Always Here With You is a heartaching tale of love, friendship, dreams, pain, destiny and immortality . The moment u start reading the story u can feel yourself to be a part of it and u can't keep it down till the end. The plot of the story is beautifully written and very well narrated. It is laced with deep and heartfelt emotions. The characterisation of all the characters is just excellent especially that of Kartik's . The language used is simple and lucid. Some parts of the story will definitely make you cry so it is better to keep some tissues beforehand or u will end spoiling the pages of your book. The story vivdly depicts the different phase in the lives of two persons in love and underlines the fact that true love never dies. The title and the cover of the book is quite appropriate with respect to the plot. The writting style of the author is highly convincing and commendable here. I personally loved the story . Highly recommend for all the romance lovers.
I am Always Here With You is a love story as you can get to know by the cover. its a story of Kartik and Ashima, and Kartik father has a little part in this book too. Kartik moves to a new college in Delhi, and on his first day, he met Ashima and is immediately fell in love with her. Days passed, they became friends and they both didn't realize that they fell in love with each other.
Kartik's father was a best friend for him, both had one similar dream, that Kartik studies engineering, but later, Kartik priorities changes due to Ashima, which causes a rift between the father and son. Few years later, Kartik and Ashima gets married but the rift with his father still remained. Was it a happily ever after or the couple will face problems? Will Kartik's relation with his father ever mend?
This book has all the points which a romantic or a person who is married and faces problems like any other couple, also to those who faces double life problems with parents and spouse. How to handle, or how does a person handle relationship is shows perfectly. As usual this book made me cry too.
If we talk about the book cover it's very beautiful and eye catchy. Title is complete goes with the storyline : story of love separation. This book is an emotional roller coaster ride. This is my second book form the author and to be honest both the books are extremely well written but this one is pure emotional love story. If you don't believe in love please read this story.
Love story of Protagonist Kartik and Ashima are school friends and am extremely sure you'll definitely fall in love with these two characters. If you're a very emotional person you'll definitely " cry while reading this story " now you can understand how emotionalstory is this.

Perfect confluence of emotions. Twists and turns across the story and all are predictable. Climax is very touchy and relatable. Simple, perfect and relatable.
"I am always here with u" by HIMANSHU RAI deals with the various emotions a person can think about. Its make u feel love, make u cry, show ups & downs , grief, fear of loosing love ones. The story is about KARTIK & ASHIMA, who are in madly in love with each other from school days. They got married even against Kartik parents wish. Soon Ashima got pregnant and they call their parents to help ashima wid the kid due to complications in her pregnancy and then something happens which shakes everyone's life. The plot shows the shifts of events occurred in past and present. The author keep u engrossed in the story till the end. Personally, i love kartik character, his love for ashima is so pure which can't be describe in words. Why i RECOMMEND this book ? 🔸Written in simples and easy language, makes story so beautiful. 🔸 A story full of every emotions , even makes u cry on certain chapters. 🔸 Perfect gift for your Love ones. 🔸 i love romance fiction, read nearly more than 100 books, but this book surely make in my top 5 list. Thank you to the author to make us live this beautiful story.
A romantic fiction, ‘I am always here with you’ is a story of Kartik and Ashima. Their love for each other always triumphed over every odd. But they are unaware of what life holds for them. The story runs in two parallel timeframes, past and present.
The author takes us on a journey where we get to see Kartik and Ashima’s love story from teenagers to a married couple who are expecting their first child. But one day everything turns upside down and their happiness is no more. What is this incident that changes their lives? What about their Child? Why does Ashima decide to remarry? There are many questions that arise while reading the book. While I found the first half to be a bit slow and boring, the plot become more clear in the second half.
The characters are depicted very well. The father son bond is very heart touching. The narrations and the language are very simple. I found the dialogues very cheesy at times. But overall the story that author wanted to convey was good.
This the second book tgat i have picked for my weekend read and i am amazed as this is an awesome read. Story is a love saga, a pure love tgat has no end. Love that has promised to be together forever yes its about ashisma and kartik both dive in to the ocean of love and sail together fighting all odds but life is not at all easy and there comes an turning point in their no so smooth life and everything changes or can say shattered! So i can't depict all the stroy here to know more about this amazing emotional Rolla coaster just grab it.
What i love about it 1. Characters are real you just live when you read. 2. Narrative part descriptive, vivid and is very clear and comprehensive! 3. Protagonist has past and present both and author has not mingled it. 4. Dialogue delivery and conversion is fab. 5. It is a perfectly orchestrated piece of fiction that ever fiction lover should give a read. So overall go grab this romance now!
Book : I am always here with you Author : Himanshu Rai @authorhimanshu Publisher : Srishti publisher @srishtipub Rating : 3.9/5 Genre : Romance Fiction The title by itself indicates it to be a love story. Kartik falls for Ashima at first sight. As their friendship unfolds into love and embellished into marriage. He fulfilled his promise to love but at same time his relationship with his parents was in state of turmoil but something unfortunate happened . Ashima married to someone else why? What will happen next to know more about it you should read it and have a roller coaster ride of emotions love tenderness.
It is aesthetic emotional story with lots of ups and downs. Author Himanshu Rai penned it well. While reading it you can easily remember your own teenage years. At some points you will feel bollywood vibes but you can't criticizes about it because writing style differs from writer to writer. Language is simple and it is a light one time read.
• Title - I am always here with you • Genre - Fiction ( romance) • Ratings - 4.5/5🌟 • Author - Himanshu Rai • Publisher - Srishti publishers • Total pages - 191 • Recommend - Definitely for beginners 🥀FAVORITE QUOTE - " Friendship is a start but togetherness is the end" 🌻BLURB / SUMMARY :- The blurb of the book is quite interesting. Stating Kartik and ashima as two main protagonists and their beautiful high school Love story which turned into teddy and angel's story. They were completely bounded in each other's love and eternal support. But In search of his true love, kartik made some decisions that exaggerated his father and bridge serious gap between him and his father cum best friend's life and in between all this something extremely drastic happens as they were going to enter a new phase of life. Why does kartik allow his wife ashima, the love of his life to marry someone else? Why life is so unpredictable?
tory: This book revolves around the character Ashima, Kartik and His father. Ashima and Kartik met in school and they fall in love. Kartik father dislikes the decision of Kartik opting Arts Stream to be with Ashima. He blames Ashima for the separation between him and Kartik. Ashima and Kartik married each other and expecting a baby but in the blink of an eye, everything has changed. To know the suspense you have to read the story. My Views. The narration and storyline are excellent. The book is heart touching. The letters are the best part of this book. The disclaimer given by the author is very correct. The story is full of romantic love and emotions. The story is not so unique than other romantic novels but it’s a good one.
Recommendation: I would like to recommend this novel to all the romance lover.
The story revolves around two major characters, Kartik and Ashima, who were school friends and fell in love with each other. Kartik's father did not approve of their relationship, yet Kartik married Ashima against his wish, parting ways with his father. And thus began their journey of love. They were happy with each other, and were expecting a child, after two years of their marriage. But, an incident occured which completely changed their lives. I won’t say more about the storyline, as I want the readers to enjoy every chapter of this book.
"I am always here with you" is a brilliant, gripping, emotion filled book with the power to break your heart. The story is fast-paced and goes back and forth from past and present pretty easily.
The story plot is highly gratifying with plain sailing articulation. The book cover is modest yet catchy and the dramatis personae are very firmly forged. The book shares not just the story of a couple but also depicts a bond among the father and son. Being not an immensely emotional person but while reading this book I found myself weeping. Would really like to suggest this novel to those who love to read stories in relation to the affairs of hearts.

The book follows the love story of Kartik and Ashima, who were deeply and madly in love with each other. The story starts with Kartik and Ashima enjoying their breakfast when Ashima breaks the news of her being pregnant. Both were ecstatic and overwhelmed to know that they were going to be parents soon. While going to office, Kartik reminisced his past - how he and Ashima started dating.
Kartik and Ashima were classmates when Kartik first saw her and instantly fell in love with her. Eventually they both became best of friends and confessed their love for each other. They dated for a few years and then decided to get married. But the decision of their marriage wasn't supported by Kartik's dad and he broke all ties with Kartik.
In the present, the doctor advised both of them to take extra care of Ashima and asked them to call either of their parents for helping her. The time came when Kartik had to face his father after 10 years. They were still not on talking terms but the day his father wished to reconcile with him, Kartik died in a car accident. But he didn't leave the earth and was trapped as a soul. Will his soul be able to find peace?
I absolutely loved how the author inserted the twists and turns in the story. I absolutely enjoyed reading the book .The plot is somewhat predictable but the author was able to write it so beautifully. The emotions are so raw that I imagined myself in the situation ( and cried a bit ). The narration is smooth and the book is well paced. With every turning page the curiosity to read further kept on increasing. The language used by the author is easy and understandable.
Definitely Recommended to all the romance lovers out there!
This story is a emotional rollercoaster which can make you fall in love with the lead characters Kartik and Ashima. Their love story is so pure, beautiful and heart touching that it gives you a ride of all the emotions while reading it. Karthik and Ashima are school friends and fell in love with each other and got married against the wish of Kartik's parents and that made him apart from his father - his idol, his hero, his best friend. But as they say "True love is not easy and it must be fought for.". And here their journey begins of love, care, togetherness forever. They fondly call each other Teddy and Angel and these names truly justifies their beautiful love story. After two years of their marriage they received the amazing news of their life which would change their life, which would give them most precious gift - Parenthood. But life is always not so easy and can not give all the desired happiness. And here one such incident happened with madly in love couple. So what is that incident which made Ashima's life miserable? What letters Kartik wrote to his unborn baby? What the most difficult decision Ashima took after the birth of their baby? All these questions would be answered by reading this incredible love story. Narration of the book is done brilliantly, the best part of the book. Language is lucid, easy to understand. Cover of the book and title is apt for the plot. Cover itself explains the beauty of the love that your loved one is always there and behind you to take care of yourself even if you are apart. I will definitely recommend this book if you love to read love story but yes be ready with tears in your eyes. It's 4/5 for me.
I'm always here with you by himanshu rai is a love story of Kartik and Ashima.
They met in school and became friends. Overtime friendship changed into love and there was no looking back then. Kartik, to keep their love alive and not letting distance creep into, chose arts as his stream. Going against his father's dream of being an engineer, he has to face a distant relationship with his hero.
Marrying against his father's will, he started staying in Noida with Ashima. After 2 years of marriage, they got the news of Ashima being pregnant. It was the time when Kartik again started reconciling with his father. But call it fate or destiny, something happened in their life leaving them shattered.
What happened? What turning point they had? You'll definitely have to read the book to know that.
It relates to story and jhas a meaning to it. The title too in context of story feels appropriate. It couldn't have been better.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading the book. I would have loved it more without so much cheesiness and honey dipped words.
