I found this the weakest instalment of this series yet. It's beautifully produced and looks great on the bookshelf. As it's a collection of writings on a diverse range of arts, it's something of a lucky dip. As there's a few entries on popular and traditional music, I didn't get lucky with this. There were a few essays that held my interest but I was indifferent to most of the writing.
