Explore the exciting world of fluid painting with paint pouring. In this book, I will share with you the steps needed to create your paint poured art piece. I explain mixing ratios, addictives, paint pigment densities, share recipes I used to create certain unique effects and provide tips on how to achieve consistent results. This book is great for the beginner artist who is just exploring the world of fluid painting on a budget.
A good instructional book with clear information and instructions about pours and what type of reactions you should see in your pours. She also has photos of with and without cell advancers. Doesn’t cover swipes or dutch pours etc..but a fairly good book.
This is a really short book. But it has some unique information in it Coma coma at least unique to someone who wants to begin pour painting. Did you know they use a hair serum as part of the Mixture? It has to have a certain ingredient. But I just found it amazing that hair serum would be something you would use in painting. I would say if you want do something with the color teal, you need to check this book out from Kindle Unlimited. She covers the color teal in several places.
Not really enough to go on. I was surprised by the lack of information on any type of pouring or swirling techniques. This is basically- use the cheapest stuff you can, pour it into a cup, flip it over on the canvas and voila. Not so voila. There’s so much more to even very basic techniques.
Wish the book had been longer. I was hoping to get more information on how much paint for different size painting surfaces as well as have the measurements in ounces and inches. The preview of the book talked about using economical paints, but did not clearly state what kind of paint she used.
I really appreciated the way the author presented very helpful information. She was very meticulous. Seeing the results of her work is very inspiring! Plan to try her techniques ASAP!
This is a short quick read and very very basic. I still got a few good tips from it though. Paint pouring has come a long way since this was written and I would encourage new students to view a lot of YouTube videos to learn the latest techniques.
