Apple partnered with Goldman Sachs to introduce a new credit card - a card without any number engraved on it. What inspired Apple to enter in the field of credit card business or to be very precise in the payment business? Similarly, myriad other companies are rolling out new digital services to consolidate their positions and to hedge against the wave of disruptions. Why? The answer is in the book ' Demystifying Digital Transformation'.

In the book 'Demystifying Digital Transformation', the authors have defined Digital transformation and explained with examples why Digital transformation is so crucial for an organization. They have explained various tools of digital transformation such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine learning, and Block-chain (an various other tools). This book targets not only digital experts but also a neophyte who wants to understand what digital transformation is. There are a plethora of intriguing examples in this book that will pique your interest in Digital Transformation.

With the wave of digital transformation and the advent of 'Artificial Super Intelligence', some of the jobs performed by Homo Sapiens would be performed by the robots. Tesla has already trained thousands of robot to perform tasks that were performed by a human. For a student or a neophyte, this book would help to select a career path which will not be rendered useless by technology.
For a management graduate or an executive, this book would help to understand the areas were digital transformation would be required for the sustenance of business in the near future and beyond. For example, if you want to buy some grocery items you will have to visit the nearest store, find a parking slot, load the material in your car, and drive through the traffic to reach home again. The other option is to visit the Amazon website and click on buy - you will get the items in 2 hours without any delivery fees ( if you are a prime customer). The authors have given myriad examples in the book that will help the reader to understand the significance of digital transformation.

I would credit the author for demystifying the technical jargon in such a simple language that it is very easy to comprehend the concepts outlined in the book. This book has the potential to become the textbook on this subject and it is a must read.
