I'm a longtime reader of romance, erotica, sci-fi and horror. Having a vivid imagination, I'd always thought about writing. Finally, I went for it! On Valentines Day 2018, my first release, Girl Talk was released. It's a feel-good #lesfic romance, largely about coming of age and finding oneself!

My second LGBT novella, Awakening, was quite a bit darker. After that came Game Night in February 2019 -- a year to the day after Girl Talk! That one was based upon my non-adventures with a real-life "crush" whom I met through my day-job. And by that, I mean I was too chicken to make a move. (blush)

I'm a baseball fan, and I drew upon this for my first full-length book, Team Mom. This one is more toward the erotica end of the spectrum, and wanders out of the #lesfic category a bit. Research was especially fun -- I visited Marlins Park, Wrigley Field and a number of minor-league venues!

Other than my sister, who is my best friend in the world, my family doesn't know I write -- manuscripts of Girl Talk and especially, Awakening would probably not be well-received at Easter Brunch. Same holds true with the "day-job" profession I'm in -- so I keep those circles at arm's length when it comes to my writing.

When I'm not writing, I enjoy playing board and card games -- the real, physical ones. Although my sister Allison and I do play Words With Friends and I even let her win a few. I love to travel, and in May I made a trip to historic Wrigley Field to watch my beloved Marlins get trounced -- all in the name of research for another of my upcoming books. One hundred percent tax-deductible research, of course!

I also like to cook, often prompted by seeing something delicious posted on social media. I'm deathly afraid of heights and won't go near the railing at the mall, but I've actually jumped out of an airplane. So go figure.

I look forward to taking my readers on a journey!

I'm not sure how to say this but bear with me for a minute while I try to make a comparison without possibly spoiling too much.

For those who have read Girl Talk (seriously, read it if you haven't already), I compare that book to cooking. It was like spending all day in the kitchen with the perfect ingredients making the perfect dish but when it was time to finally eat, the book ended and the food vanished. This book lets you try several delicious appetizers but just as you get ready to devour the main course, guess what happens?

Although I liked the beginning of the book very much it soon became clear that I would be doing quite some skimming. It had nothing to do with the quality of the writing and everything to do with the subject matter: poker. I don't know a damn thing about it but the entire book revolves around the game so what's a girl to do but skim?

The final thing that irked me too much about this book was one of the secondary characters. It seems the sole reason for this person's existence was to piss people off. I couldn't understand why she was there other than to create conflict between everyone. She's clearly the S in BD SM and that's just not my thing.

It's definitely a bold choice devoting a large portion of this book to poker since it's not everyone's game of choice but poker fans will probably love it. Cassidy's next book has a baseball theme and I shudder to think what those bats will be used for but I'm sure it will involve more kinks than a garden hose.

Though this is not my favorite book by the author, it was still a very enjoyable read since it brought back memories of playing Madwish with the woman who would later become my first girlfriend. Now if you'll excuse me I need to get rid of Kenny Rogers singing 'the gambler" in my head.

While BDSM is not really my thing, it is in much of the erotica I read, so I think I’ve grown a callus to it now. I’ve learned through my readings, that one of the most important things about a BDSM relationship is an agreement between the parties and a safe word. Much of the actions in this book felt like downright coercion to me. At least one of the women was bullied or hazed into doing things she clearly did not want to do. And that’s a huge issue for me and I was uncomfortable throughout much of my read. In my opinion, this story actually did a disservice to BDSM.

I thought that this was a sexy little story. People don't think of adults having crushes, really, but it still happens, and Alyssa has a crush on Mia, so when she's invited for game night, Alyssa just has to go.

I loved all the interaction between the characters in the book, well, all except for Casey. She was witchy and liked being so witchy. I didn't particularly care for her all that much, but I did like everyone else and how they all interacted with each other. OK, I also liked it when people clapped back at Casey, because she needed it and I got a giggle every time it happened.

It was a mostly sweet story and I really like Mia and Alyssa and the shy kind of chemistry they seem to have. Very enjoyable.

This was a really good read. I had to keep putting it down however since life. But I managed to finish it and was thoroughly entertained by the book itself and the characters in it.

Why not have a little fun with some friends?

Overall this book may not be what most are used to, but its hot and fun. :)

I was really skeptical in reading at first but after few pages things pick up and became interesting. Everything happened in a single night and it was not boring at all given it was a poker, and I don't know anything about it at all (made me really want to learn how to play it and reread the whole book), strip poker I guess was never boring. 😉

I love the characters. They have their own personalities that made each of them unique, - one is sultry sexy latina, another one is really cool banker in a mob boss outfit who loves her fedora, a timid girl in white cotton Hello Kitty panties 😂, a goth queen whose fond with eyeliners and black lipstick, and there's Alyssa who's awkward and has the hots for their curvy hostess that night.

It was kinky, and very creative when it comes to the scenes.. and props used, really creative. 😋

I'm giving this read a 4🌟 only because I want an extended sneak of what happened at the end! Like, really? That's the end? I've been imagining wild things all through out and everything just ended so suddenly and with very little action. I want so much more! 🙄

And also I think the book cover can be much more story related, like, instead of pink lacy bra it should be Mia's navy blue bra.. and the displayed cards, I think it would be better if it's Mia's winning cards that she showed to Alyssa at the end which is a seven, eight, nine, ten, and a jack of hearts - a straight flush. 😁

I was not quite expecting what I read. It started off innocently enough but I quickly realized what I had gotten myself into. This is a book about sex! Loss of dirty kinky stuff going on. But it was an easy read. 4 stars

This was such a fun story to read!

Alyssa gets more than she bargained for when she attends her colleague Mia’s game night, and it really is down to you to decide as you are reading this whether you think she wins or loses! Alyssa's crush on Mia gets harder and harder for her to keep secret for the night as well, which creates an air of tension between her and some of Mia's friends, who really make it difficult for Alyssa to hide her feelings.

Mia and her friends really have a unique sense of humour with their game night, leaving little to the imagination and playing for high stakes. It was great reading about Alyssa’s experience of this truly spectacular night.

There are a lot of poker references but it all adds to the tension of the story, and giving the reader the experience as Alyssa truly experiences the games. A very interesting, fun, flirty, and sexy read that was very enjoyable.

Deal Me In!
Alyssa is totally crushing on Mia. Mia invites her to game night but fails to mention the game is strip poker… with LOTS of twists and turns!
This book is definitely NOT SAFE FOR WORK!!! And unless getting REALLY hot and bothered in public is your thing, I would advise reading this at home.
OMG, this book is so darn HOT! Ms Storm is a major tease and gradually turns up the heat in this sexy romp. It won’t take long till you find yourself getting warm and edgy. The characters in this story are very different from each other but all sexy in their own way… and the things they do to each other…. WHEW!!! If you will excuse me, I have something that needs my attention…

Fantastic time reading

This was a great story to read. I liked how Cassidy kept the heat on simmer, slowly building and teasing the reader until the very end of the story. She makes you wait and wait for it and then finally gives you what you want at the end. Very well written and keeps your attention wanting more and more.

This is a great taboo treat that will having you want to have a game night yourself. Alyssa is crushing hard on Mia and when she gets invited to a game night at her house she’s more then excited about the night. The games these ladies play are thrilling and oh so panty melting.

This isn't my usual type of read, but I wanted to give it shot and be supportive to Cassidy Storm. I was genuinely surprised. Lesfic is not something I would choose to read. Typically I choose books to read that I can relate to or that mirror my lifestyle, so obviously this is out of the norm for me.

Game Night is as it says it is. Follow along with this wild bunch of women as they get down and dirty on a game night. What starts off as innocent and two friends and co workers mild flirtation, quickly turns into the possibility of the start of a relationship.

This is a pretty quick read. I was able to start and finish within two hours. It kept me mildly interested. I usually like my stories with a little mystery and a lot darker, but it was still able to keep my attention. For readers who are also unsure about whether this would be a good choice for them, while there is a constant flow of sexual tension, attraction, temptation and action, it really isn't too over the top. I think for people who want to try it out this would be a good starting point.

While it is unlikely that I would read another book of this genre, I will definitely keep my eyes on Cassidy Storm and see what else her creative mind will come up with.

Overall a good read, though I needed a bit more story.

Giving Game Night 4 stars.

Game Night was a quick novella that spans one night of a girl’s get together. They use their girls night as an opportunity to socialize, play cards and explore their sexuality. It was hard for me to relate to this lifestyle choice, but objectively it did have some funny parts though I think it should have been longer. I believe that anyone in this lifestyle would find it a great read.

Game Night is the second book I have read by Cassidy Storm. It is an easy read and very well written. Game Night starts off innocent and fun. If you read her first book Girl Talk it starts off like it but it does take a somewhat kinkier turn but not too dark, it gives a little taste of BDSM but nothing too hardcore.

Alyssa has a crush on Mia, a client for her firm. She finally gets the courage to suggest hanging out and Mia invites her to a game night she is having at her place. Although it is not what she was thinking but jumped at the chance to spend time with her personally. We get to meet three of Mia's friends who are there for the game. As the game progresses we get to see the more devious side of her Mia and her friends. Alyssa has to make a few decisions that leave her questioning her choices. Were they the right ones? Does Alyssa get to fulfill her fantasy? I don't know you have to read to find out, you won't be sorry.

Holy Schmoly, this is hot! Cassidy Storm has written a story of girl on girl that is sexy and playful. Alyssa is invited to her work crushes house and gets a little more that she bargained for. Although she is on board as soon as she sees the game these ladies are playing. Could this be the way to get her crush to notice her?
What she believes is going to be an innocent night turns into a sensual game night she will remember for the rest of her life.
A sexy original story which was fun to read.

Well, this was different lol I don’t know what I was expecting but it certainly wasn’t this. I was in a way expecting more of a one-on-one game of strip-poker and not 5 people playing it and sharing a lot of things. I felt bad at times because poor Alyssa only wanted Mia but she went through a lot to get her and I don’t know, i didn’t exactly like that part. I know it’s a game and all, but still...

Shorter story than I usually read, but fast-paced and action-filled. I would love to find out what happens in the form of a sequel! Although the story's antagonist... ugh! Wish I could punch her through the Kindle!

Holy tease Batman!!! Lol. I have read some hot stuff but this author can write some hot as CRAP stuff!! I mean I was so uncomfortable most of this book incredibly turned on. I am in love with her writing style so much that at any chance to read from her for my honest review I jump!

I love how this book started off all shy and you weren’t sure of how things would progress and boy did I NOT see all that happening. I haven’t played poker before and I don’t even know how but even with my lack of knowledge I still could follow all the enticing things that played out. Alyssa made me fantasize with her and couldn’t help getting lost in thoughts with her. I had some moments when I got super upset with Casey but that was expected. I actually got upset with Mia also because I felt she was using Alyssa and I was having bad thoughts about how the whole thing could play out.

Oh what a tease that ending was but hot dang did I enjoy every moment of it!!!! Her writing get better and better with each book she releases and this an amazing growth each time!! I’m excited to always wait patiently to see what this intoxicating author could have for us next!!! Thank you for this ride!!!! 😉

This author is fast becoming one of my favorites. She writes stories that pull me in from the beginning and keeps me turning pages until the end. Her characters are hot, steamy and make you feel part of the story. I read this story in one sitting and I highly recommend this must read. It will warm up a cold night.

This turns out to be an all ladies game night. As Mia points out, the neighbors have already figured out that the freak flag flies high there.

The lotto motto might once have been you gotta play to win, but Alyssa decides sometimes you have to play to lose . Seems like some winnings are better than others, depending on the stakes and who is playing

Lots of adult toys described in this colorful game night story.

I'll never think of having a game night in the same way ever again. These ladies take poker to a whole new level. The story heats up pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the fun they all had together. I wish Casey had been on the receiving end more, but maybe she'll show up in another story. I look forward to reading more from Cassidy Storm.

Game Night was well written and had a nice build up of steam as the story progressed. I even learned a bit about poker! The characters varied in personalities so that kept things interesting as well. However, I do wish we got a bit more background info on the characters. Regardless, this was a fun read!
