It’s long past time to reclaim what is their own.

The Furlorians’ patience has reached an end. The Federation knows that their home is the best place for them to settle. Only the Wyyvan have a different idea.

They have not yet stripped the planet of its resources. Power. Influence. Position.

The Furlorians don’t care that it’s hard, only that it can be done. The Federation has provided a little help in the form of firepower. Bring the pain. Bring the enemy to their knees.

The Wyyvan will not go easily. They also have firepower, more than what they had when they first took the planet. The Furlorians hit the ground running. Energy weapons light up the sky. The final battle has begun.

Join those fighting to save family, friends, and their way of life in the latest exciting Age of Expansion series, in the Kurtherian Gambit Universe.

You don’t have to read any of the other KGU books to get into this series, but it would be way cool if you did. Read all about Bethany Anne in Death Becomes Her.

Action!

The Furlorians have taken time to recover, train, and plan and are now ready to take back their planet. We see full-on action, on the fly decisions, and lots of courage. This is a different take on independence to the other series, and I’ve greatly enjoyed it. The Kurtherian Universe is all the richer for meeting the Furlorians.

The final book in this series was a huge surprise to me - it shouldn't have been, really, because cats were involved, albeit large cats that walk on their hind legs.

But although Taj, and her crew, were determined to get their planet back out of the clutches of the Lizard race that had stolen it from them, all they had was a secondhand fleet, given to them by Lance Reynolds, on behalf of the Federation, and Dent, the AI that held the fate of a nation in his hands, and mind.

Taj went into this with little planning but, despite being totally outnumbered by a ratio too big to contemplate, she was determined to win back her planet, even if she died in the attempt!

As it happens, it took a combination of Dent's amazing tech genius, a lot of planning on the fly, and a huge amount of guts, courage, and determination, for that plucky crew to beat the odds - oh, and a lot of cursing at fate, and Rowl, the goddess they loved to try and avoid mentioning because, after all, she's a cat too, and we all know just how contrary they can be! Lol

The way that this amazing crew fought, and eventually won their battle, was awesome - and totally crazy, too, but I loved it, and I loved the whole book, because we all love those who try to win against terrible odds, don't we?

I was intrigued to read in the Author's Notes, that there might be some more stories written involving the cats. Now, this was written in 2018 so, as far as I know, there might well be some more, so I'll just have to go take a look!

I'd come across a scene involving one of them in my previous book, so I hope that there'll be more mentions elsewhere, because I loved these stories, and want to read more of them!

But, now that I've finished this series, I gave my reading list a look, and the next book for me to read, is book four of the Shadow Vanguard series: Ultimate Payback, so I'm going to find it, and start reading it straight away, as it's been a while since i last read one of this series!

Strong finish

Good story, somewhat simplistic at times, but it kept my interest on the long drive (600 miles) from Knoxville TN to New Orleans LA, even using the Kindle Fire Tablet text to reading app. I've found that application a blessing on my drive to work, and now on these long stretches on the circle route from DE to TN to LA to FL to NC to DE. These Kindle Unlimited titles have been well worth the monthly subscription, because I've always found an author or book that I've enjoyed reading or listening to. Yeah, there have indeed been some duds in the mix, but they have been few and far between.
This book finishes this story, and the epilogue sets up a possible vision for the future, but does indeed put a nice "closure" to the whole series, finishing the story of the characters, but lets you know the authors are thinking of how to tie this further into the LMBPN (whatever) universe.

The cats come home!

It's time, time for the girlfriend to return to the planet they were chased away from. Time to exact vengeance against the thieving lizards, time to reclaim their home! Ok, so they didn't expect the enemy Arkansas or the gate hanging just off the planet, and there seemed to be a whole lot more lizard solders than when they left, but, with Canes crackhead counter Dan's jump first, yowell later mingset, and Dent, the AI running things the Furlorians just might make it through the first few hours!

Vengeance

Taj, her crew of 40, and the rebels wind up this great series with guts, drive, distraction, brilliant schemes, and, in the end, adapt and overcome all obstacles. Enjoy bursts of near disaster and non-stop action. You don't want to miss this one. Thank you Tim for this exciting ride. I hope to see more of Taj and her folk again.

Fantastic series!!

This series has great characters that persevere against the odds to retake their home back, reintroduce a near extinct species and love that everyone can lead if they have the right people or cats behind them. Adventure, fast paced action and laugh out loud moments suck you in and take you on a journey with the Furlorians.
Would definitely recommend reading.

an absolutely entertaining and enjoyable series!!!!!!

Congratulations to Tim Marquitz, Craig Martelle and Michael Anderle for this amazing series. It’s extremely hard to find such interesting and exciting authors who not only write intelligently but also provide top rated plots, characters and excitement in the stories.

Highly recommended

An amazing culmination of a story arc, and a amazing effort, by a new author to the Kurtherian Gambit Universe.
I don't think I'm alone in hoping that there are more adventures to follow, for the cats.
Here's hoping.

Excellent descriptive prose.

Grit between the teeth frontline fighting. Taj and her crew are surprised by the changes when they return to Krawlas. What is the point of war? Kill the enemy or ensure the species survives. S’thlor even has a part to play.
