In the late 80s, with Gorbachev running Russia and the KGB suppressing dissidents, human rights attorney Luke Forsyth embarks on a solo drive up the east coast of the United States to rendezvous with the love of his life, a mystery woman who went missing a decade before. He leaves behind his young family who urgently await his return. Luke's journey unfolds on foggy roads, providing him a canvas upon which he reveals his escalating fears, hidden desires, and erotic exploits.
