In the late 80s, with Gorbachev running Russia and the KGB suppressing dissidents, human rights attorney Luke Forsyth embarks on a solo drive up the east coast of the United States to rendezvous with the love of his life, a mystery woman who went missing a decade before. He leaves behind his young family who urgently await his return. Luke's journey unfolds on foggy roads, providing him a canvas upon which he reveals his escalating fears, hidden desires, and erotic exploits. The trip towards to his old love affair takes him backward to memories of wild misadventures on his last human rights mission to the USSR. At journey's end, a life-changing revelation awaits Luke.
