Isabel Fields is married, has a good marketing job, and a supportive best friend. Her husband, Phil isn’t the most adventurous in the bedroom, and Isabel craves much more than the one-sided lovemaking she puts up with. She tries to explain her desires to Phil, but he has no intention of getting into that kinky stuff with Isabella.

After feeling let down once again by Phil, Isabel stops by a bar and starts up a conversation with very handsome and sexy Dom Sebastian York. Over time, Isabel and Sebastian strike up a friendship, and Isabel explains how unsatisfied she is with the sexual aspects of her marriage. Sebastian, seeing the submissive in Isabel offers to introduce her to the ins and outs of BDSM. Sebastian’s intent was to give Isabel a few tips she can take home to her husband, but something about Izzy intrigues him, and as he gets to know her something more is developing between them.

As Izzy blossoms in her submissive training, she’s gaining confidence in herself and her sensuality. While Phil just ignored Isabel, Sebastian is worshiping everything about her. Isabel loves the attention Sebastian places on her. She starts to develop feelings for him, but understands that for Sebastian, she’s just the next one in line.

I really enjoyed this story. I really like how Rachel vividly paints the picture of Isabel in her boring existence as Phil’s wife, to the transformation into Sebastian’s submissive. You’re cheering for Isabel when she sees herself as a woman of worth, and you want to smack her for some of the decisions she makes (no spoilers).

Sadly, this story ends in a cliffy, but Rachel gives you a taste of the continuation. I hope it’s not too far away, because I need to know how this plays out.

I received this ARC for an honest review, and I give it 4 stars.

A beautiful start !

This is the first book in a beautiful story of a woman discovering her needs, and wants. It's extremely well told from both POV's and holds a real sense of intimacy to it that some books are desperately lacking. Ms De Lune writes with emotion seeping from every pore, so this book is a very engaging piece of nourishment for the soul. And the lead man is TO DIE FOR, which means it's also very hot, steamy hot, so you may need to get your spare knickers ready ...

A really great read, and a brilliantly written debut. Well done !

Wow! Hot! Hot! Hot! Move over 50 Shades of Grey and make room for More! Easy to read and explicit, I don't usually read erotica, but this one grabbed me. Congratulations, Rachel De Lune, you've got the beginnings of one hot series in your hands.

Isabel “Izzy” Fields is a married woman. Married to a man (Phil) that seems to have lost interest in his marriage, and Izzy craves more than a disinterested husband. Day after day it’s the same routine, and most nights Izzy ends up alone while her husband is out doing whatever he’s doing.

“I know that I need to communicate, to ask him more directly, but it’s hard after getting ignored and side lined for nearly ten years. He is my husband. I want him consumed by need for me. I want my satisfaction, my needs, to be his priority, but at this point, I would settle for an orgasm I didn’t give myself.”

Izzy secretly wants her submit to her husband and makes a plan to guide him into what she desires. Unfortunately for Izzy, her husband is disgusted by her request for him to spank her, thinking it’s violent and dirty. This leads to weeks without them communicating, passing each other like ships in the night. Phil stays out late, and Izzy starts meeting Seb for drinks, without either of them knowing what the other is up to.

“For a long time, I’ve wanted to lose myself at the hands of someone else. To look in his eyes and feel utterly wanted. Like all he will ever see is me.”

Sebastian “Seb” York meets Izzy at a local pub and is instantly attracted to her shy demeanor, and the way she’s obliviously attracted to him. He knows that she’ll make a beautiful submissive. Meeting Izzy again at a work meeting has Seb asking her out for a drink.

After a few weeks meeting Seb for drinks, and her husband’s one sided lovemaking in their failing marriage, Izzy tells Seb about her and Phil not connecting after making her desires known. Feeling neglected, and convinced her husband has been cheating on her, Izzy works her way up to asking Seb to do what her husband won’t; to guide her in her sexual fantasies, giving her an introduction to the BDSM lifestyle.

Gosh, Izzy is trying to find her way and dragging her feet at it. Phil is an asshole. The way he yells at her and manipulates her into thinking everything is her fault, or at least not his, is disgusting. She should’ve dropped his ass a looooong time ago. I’m convinced he’s having an affair, and that shit pisses me off because he left Izzy alone just expecting her to wait on him to find the time to be a husband.

This was a slow read, heavy on the BDSM in the beginning. I wish we got to know Seb in the weeks that Izzy did, but instead we got the time jump. But after a BDSM beginning, or half, we finally get more of Izzy and Phil, and Seb’s true feelings. I hope book two has more of that as well, even though the BDSM scenes are beautiful the way Seb takes care of Izzy.

I was hoping to like this book, but I really can't stand Izzy. She is very annoying with her indecision about wanting out of her marriage. I would understand if maybe she had kids or if her husband was a great person outside of the bedroom or something that was tying her to her marriage. But it's not like that. Her husband is a douche and she knows it. He's cheating on her and she knows it. They never talk and she knows it. He won't even talk to her when she tries to talk about something more serious, he just walks away. This happened multiple times and she just lets him walk away and still wants to be in a loveless marriage like that? It just doesn't make sense at all. I couldn't handle another minute of her crying and bitching about her husband and then right after that goes and texts another man and brings him into her drama.

Isabel Fields accepts she has a miserable marriage. She wants more from her husband - tied up and spanked and some spark injected into the passionless relationship she has with husband Phil. Of course he rejects this "suggestion" to spice up their life and walks out - which becomes the norm for these two throughout the book.

She meets "sexual dominant" Sebastian York one night drowning her sorrows. He is meant to "ignite" passion in his lovers and promises her the opportunity to change her life.

Izzy (Isabel) of course is a natural submissive and what I expected was the journey of her sexual awakening under the tuition of Seb - but that never happened.....well for me it didn't. There was no spark between these two to the extent the story became repetitive and at times extremely boring

I didn't get that dominant personality nor did I get her natural submissiveness - I got a woman who could not make up her mind whether she wanted to stay in her stale 10 year marriage, become the submissive she wanted to be, deal with her marital issues, admit the marriage was well and truly over and of course the tears!

Call me a cynic but I didnt get the sacrifices that she was supposed to have made - she clearly did not want to be with her husband and suspected his infidelity (although that is never proven in this book) instead she wastes 10 years of her life married to a doormat, and a needy man.

So this started out with potential but just got too much of nothing. Lets see if book 2 produces that dominant that is missing in action.

* I WAS GIVEN AN ARC FOR AN HONEST REVIEW *
I really enjoyed this book - I actually couldn't put it down! Definitely real competition for 50 Shades and in my opinion, would win hands down. The writing is excellent and flows beautifully letting your imagination stay with the scene all the way through. The BDSM scenes are mesmerizing leaving you hot hot hot! Watching Isobel struggle with her failing marriage, being tormented by her own morals and confused about what she wants out of life and struggling to believe that what she needs matters, was very thought provoking. When do you stop working at that marriage you thought would last forever? Isobel can't be judged for her choices, she didn't go looking for Seb but he showed up to teach her More and turned her world on its axis! Isobel does the same for Seb too! She continues to torment herself until the bitter end. What a ride Rachel De Lune takes us on ! Absolutely amazing and so anxious to continue this Series with Book 2 coming out soon. Two thumbs up.

Beautifully written story.

Highly recommend this book to anyone who thinks they want to enter the world of sexual submission but unsure of what lies ahead. You cannot help but feel everything that Izzy goes through. The emotional ups and downs. The angst. The pleasure.

Also enjoyed Seb's POV throughout the book. It's refreshing when the POV comes across from a male character.

Ummm... where have I been? Why am I just now finding out about this author and this series?! To say that I LOVED the beginning of this series would be an understatement. I couldn't get enough of Izzy's journey to finding herself and what she really wanted.

Isabel is unhappy in her ten year marriage. Her husband is always gone and never shows her any kind of affection or attention, always working late or out with friends. Izzy finally realizes that she needs more from her marriage and asks her husband to fulfill her fantasies, she is met head on by a unwilling husband that shoots down what she wants, what she needs.

Izzy has had enough of sitting at home by herself night after night so she takes herself out for a drink after work. The totally swoon worthy Sebastian sets beside her and the attraction between the to is undeniable. Seb notices Izzy's submissive side almost instantly and has to learn more about this women.

Will Izzy's marriage survive or will she finally put herself and her wants and needs first?

I think Izzy is a character that can resonate with many women. Izzy wants more in the bedroom but just doesn't know how to ask for that from her husband. It's a great book about her finding what she wants for herself and giving that a voice. Izzy doesn't find that with her husband but she finds someone willing to give her what she so desperately craves.

Seb is a very swoon worthy man that would do anything for Izzy to make her happy. He listens to her and slowly Izzy and Seb form more than just a friendship. The attraction and sexual pull between the two can't be denied. He is her missing piece. He fulfills her needs in oh so many pant scorching scenes, but they also share the emotional connection needed to balance the book out to make it a great read. This is truly a great read and I'm diving right into book two.

Rachel De Lune has reached into the minds of unsatisfied married women everywhere and put their doubts fears and hopes on the page. Her novel is a poignant topic for discussion. She created a timely message wrapped in plain words.
Fingers-of-God photo Fingers-of-God.gif

Men who read this would probably either gain insight into the female mind or find themselves a bit overwhelmed. Women who read this - you've felt this way at one point or another - and can identify with Izzy on some level.

In light of Ashley Madison, the Evermore Series is a sexy, timely debut meant for people who want more from their relationship.

Seb rocks. I want Izzy to find her happiness and I'm looking forward to the next installment.

Here is my favorite line:

Confidence = Sebastian York
"Oh, I see. Thanks." I absentmindedly rub my thumb across his name on the card, feeling the individual dips and rises of the letters.
“I expect you to call me, Izzy.” With that, he turns and walks out of the room.

HOLY HOT!!! This book has some serious heat!!! But don't think that's all it has, it has a wonderful storyline that will suck you right in.
Izzy was so frustrating. Seriously frustrating. But I understood her. Her indecision, her hesitations. I got her. The las thing you ever want to be considered is a failure. But what if the one person that said they would be everything for you just can't anymore? What if they never really did? And what would you do if you had the chance to fulfill your every desire?
Sebastian had me saying, Christian who???? This man knows how to get a girl worked up! We get a little hint of what is going on in his head throughout the book. We seriously need more of him. In fact, he demands it.
If the subject matter makes you hesitant, let me assure you, read the book. To me, this was a story of someone who is so close to the edge of doing what she knows is the right thing, but is held back because of not wanting to fail. It speaks to the person that Izzy is. As a natural submissive, her first priority is making sure she doesn't make waves. But that doesn't mean living in misery and being someone's convenience. With Sebastian's help, she begins to discover who she really is. And of course, the simple arrangement can't just stay simple. Pesky little things called feelings have to make a grand entrance. And it made the story that much better. I love when a book like this is so much more than the sex. It's a journey of self discovery, or standing up for yourself, of realizing that walking away does not equal failure. I couldn't put this book down, it is that good. I cannot wait to see how Sebastian and Izzy's story plays out.

I WAS GIFTED A COPY OF THIS TITLE IN EXCHANGE FOR AN HONEST REVIEW.

This was my first of Rachel’s books and I was excited to see the reviews already up for it, and couldn’t wait to start the series. It is a very comparable series starting out to how FSOG is, and I love that about it. It pulls you in from the first page when you read “I’m Invisible. My husband hasn’t come on to me in months.” I was immediately intrigued and curious as to where this book was going to take me. It is full of emotion, exploration, struggle, discovery and choices. It was well written with great character development that makes this not feel like a story. It pulls you in and makes you feel like you are living this with Isabel. You can relate to her in some way.

In this first installment of The Evermore Series, More, we meet Isabel. She is miserable in her marriage and has fallen into a routine. Her husband doesn’t even look at her the same. In an attempt to seek clarity in her own mind about her life and future with her husband if things continue on this way she goes to a pub to have a drink. Little did she know she’s meet the very dominant and very sexy Sebastian. He will tempt her and guide her on a journey to discover herself. The only question will be is, once she discovers that, can she commit to that? Can she give up her life she lived before? Does she want to go back to how things were before? Once she is a new person and realizes this, how will that affect everything?

I can’t wait to read the next book in this series!

3 ½ out of 4 stars

Izzy is dealing with a failing marriage and desires for things she doesn't really know anything about - other than all the internet research she’s done. Sebastian is a Dominant who offers to help her without the idea of anything beyond teaching her the basics.

As romance novels go, they both got way more out of their friendship and connection than either was thinking they would. The story was good, but a little too detailed in places. Also, the vocabulary choices weren’t my favorite words. It’s hard to read a book that’s supposed to be erotic with words like labia and folds. I also struggled because inner thoughts were just thrown in and it wasn’t always clear what they were supposed to add to the story. I did enjoy when the author threw in just snippets of Seb’s POV. There weren’t a lot, but they were just enough to really keep me going and wanting to see what was coming next.

One of my first notes in the book was a concern that this would just be like a fan fiction of Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m very happy that I was so wrong in that assumption. Though there were similarities here and there, it definitely wasn’t a retelling of that story.

Overall, I enjoyed the story and couldn’t wait to see what book 2 held in store!

Rachel De Lune is a master of her craft, and I can't wait to see where book two of The Evermore Series takes us. More is a story about being awoken sexually and personally. Isabel who is very unhappy in her marriage, just wants more. Her husband long ago abandoned her needs, her feelings, and it shows in this story. She suspects that her husband is cheating as well.

She meets Sebastian York, a man who is easy on the eyes, and dominant to the core. This man can take her where she has dreamed of going in her submissive journey. However, she needs to find the strength to get out of her bad marriage and I felt like it took her a very long time to try to get a back bone and do so. She is dependent on that marriage and without it, she is very much alone. I felt like she didn't realize whether in her marriage or not, she was alone.

Izzy is just a lost soul in need of some guidance and in need of an outlet. I feel like if she had that, she could have been stronger than she was. This book will bring you on her journey of finding herself and trying to decide what her future is and how it is going to play out. We are left with a cliffhanger and it is well worth picking up the second installment.

Great read!

I chose to Read and Review this book from The Authors Explosion Event on FB

This was my first Read By Rachel and i can assure you that it won't be the Last.

Isabel is a women that married her college Sweetheart and living a little quiet life. After a 11 year marriage Izza and Phil are more like roomates then Husband and wife. He works ALOT and Likes to spend his evening with his buddys while his wife is alone at home.

One night that she is home alone again, she decides to go think at a pub to have a drink and think of her too quiet life and her now "More Friendshiped" mariage, and that's when she Meets Sebastien. Little did she know that her decision was gonna change her life and probably forever.

Great book with a great story. I have read others Dom/Subs books before, but WHAT made This one So special was that while learning about herself, you get to Isabel was she stuggles with her feeling and you just get to feel all the emotions that's she going through. Fidelity, love, lust and Just life altogether. If your looking for a book that will make you feel, with great story then This book is for you.

I received a copy of this book from the author during their R4R tour for an honest review.

This is my first book by the author and it won't be my last. The writing is superb, she has managed to take me on this journey with Izzy, all her emotions her confusion, her happiness and her joys. She gets into the heart of a woman confused about where her marriage is going, but determined to try and find her sexual self,t he person she has hidden except in secret.

Izzy is a woman who, while i did have issues with the way she starts her journey with Seb, I can understand. Her emotions are constantly on display, she knows there is something going on with her husband but she is refuses to see it even when her friend hints at it and tries to get her to come to a decision she should have made already.

I liked Seb, a Dom who recognises the submissive hiding in Izzy who offers her the chance to delve into it as well as how far she wants to take it.

I liked this. Sensual and forbidden wrapped into a nice, tight package.

This is a story about sexual and personal awakening, please don't let the infidelity detract from the story. Isabel is unhappy in her marriage Her husband has emotionally and sexually abandoned her long ago. Izzy even suspects he's cheating on her.

Izzy decides to venture out on her own instead of staying home in a lonely house. She meets Sebastian York, a man who can lead her on a sexual journey, satisfying Izzy's craving for submission. However it becomes more and Izzy has to find strength to confront her failing marriage.

Izzy lack of confrontation has given her husband the upper hand in their relationship. When she tries to confront him, he walks out. She's dependent on their relationship, without their marriage she would be alone. The irony is that she is alone in their marriage. Although first impressions of Izzy is that she's week, a door mat of sorts, but the truth is she's lost. She's lost herself in her marriage, she's become emotionally vacant. It's up to Izzy to find her strength and decide her future. Just a fair warning this is a cliffhanger but worth the wait!

What did I think?! Now there is a question...

Fuck me sideways and call me Mary!!

Read of the year so far. I am beyond in love. With Rachel as an author, with Seb and Izzy both as a couple and on their own, with their story, with the knowledge that I get to see them again.
It's all just too much!!!
After all that was 50 Shades, there were women across the world thinking about their husbands the way Izzy thinks about Phil. It's a story many a woman may well feel to be knowledgeable with, or dream about happening to them.
For some, it'll be taboo. Affairs...although a common occurrence, people don't want to read about it.
Good bloody job I've got weak morals!
This is Rachel's first full length novel and boy has she done a cracking job. Her writing style flows beautifully. It's lyrical and easy to read, it sends your imagination on a journey you really don't want to finish.
Thought provoking, heart warming, sensual and erotic.
Characters you'll fall in love with, plot lines to tug at your heart strings and an ending to leave YOU wanting More!

I want More of Izzy and Seb

I LOVE reading this book. It gives me pleasure in so many ways. Nothing beats a married woman when her husband cannot pleasure her in bed. This book is an eye-opening for married couple.

Communication really is a key for couples to enjoy their married life. Izzy lacks not from her husband. She has a fantasy (who does not?) that she wants her husband to fulfill. I cannot blame Izzy of what she did. I even adored her more. I wish she can decide right away. She has been blind for a while.

Seb is even there to fulfill her fantasy. Even wants to help Izzy in their married life. You cannot force Izzy to avoid Seb. This guy is the sweetest and the hottest as well.

I cannot wait to the second book. I want FOREVER with Izzy and Seb. I hope she finally decides the best for her.

I love Rachel De Lune's writing!
It like you are right there in the story, building relationships with the characters, feeling their emotions, and experiencing all that deliciousness right along with them. More is just that, so much More!!
Isabel finally admits she is drawn the life of submission and wants desperately to try it. But what does she do if her husband isn't open to it? Does she seek it on another level from another man she trusts or ignore her deepest desires and compromise her happiness?
Seb recognizes Isabel's submissive nature immediately and cannot deny he is drawn to her. She is sweet, beautiful, and strong. After a work related presentation Seb finds a way to keep Isabel close.
This story wraps you up in a blanket of desperate need and gives you more than you could even imagine. A lovely story that has be craving more....

All I can say is that thank goodness book 2 is out and available. Believe me I will start Forever More as soon as I complete this review.

I have kind of done things a little backwards. I haven’t read the first 2 books in the Evermore Series but, have read books 3, 4 & 5.

I have truly enjoyed reading Isabel Fields & Sebastian’s story. Isabel is on an emotional roller coaster. She wants, no she needs more from her marriage to Phil and she isn’t getting it. Even when she opens herself up to Phil to what she wants. Phil isn’t open to the kinky sex that Isabel wants.

Isabel stops at a bar for a drink and she meets Sebastian York. Sebastian ends up changing Isabel’s life forever.

You can just feel the sexual tension between Isabel and Sebastian. It is oh so good! Now I can’t wait to start reading Forever More!

Smoking hot....Scorching!!

I need a Sebastian in my life, what is not to love. He is a sentistive, hard, kind, sensual, gorgeous specimen of a man... Where do they find them!

Poor Izzy, feeling unloved and neglected by her husband Phil, she works up the courage and find a voice to tell her husband what she wants, what she needs. He totally let her down, I couldn't help thinking dump him now as I was reading, my heart sank.

What starts as a quick drink after work, soon develops into something MORE when she meets the gorgeous man with striking Blue eyes. The story is one of pain and love, tears, happiness and chance meetings.

I read this in 2 days and was so glad it was a series that I could download the second book straight away as its a cliffhanger.

This the first book of Rachel's I have read, and it didn't disappoint, I loved it.

4-4.5 stars for a book that has left me needing 'More'!

I think I fell in love with Seb from the moment he stepped up to the bar. Where can I find a guy like him?? I thought I had Seb all worked out but then the author would add something to the story line which had me second guessing, and I loved that!!

Izzy, bless her. I'm so jealous that she's had the pleasure of Seb's company but I feel for her too! I know we will have all be wanting her to act on her thoughts and wishes but that's easier said than done and now I need to head straight into the next book to see what happens next!

This book has some heat in it let me tell you! You may wish to invest in a fan at the same time as purchasing this book. I really enjoyed this book.... I'm certain you will too.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Whew! Hot and spicy reading, but also emotional and thoughtful. Izzy and her husband are going through the motions of their marriage. Izzy suspects her husband is cheating on her, but has no proof. Then, she meets Seb. "I wanted more and he's given it to me. I wanted him to be gentle and guide me into this darker side of my sexual desires and he has. What else do I want from him?" Read on to experience Izzy's darker side, see what she does with Seb and with her husband. Things get real interesting and emotional. Enjoy!

I. Love. This. Book.

It was my absolute pleasure to be involved in the editing for this novel. Rachel writes with such fluid beauty that the words slide effortlessly off the page and into your imagination.

I felt what Izzy felt as the story went along and I fell head over heels for Sebastian. The book attacked all of my emotions at various times and I found myself up until all hours of the night, not wanting to put it down and sleep.

The BDSM scenes were fantastically written and kept me turning the pages. All the characters were believable and lifelike, all perfect in their flawed beauty.

A fantastic novel and I can't wait to read the next installment.

This passionate, suspenseful story was totally absorbing! I read it in a day. It's about woman in a terrible marriage and the sexy, dominant man she meets one night who understands and appreciates her submissive desires. I adored how they met unintentionally again and are drawn to each other. The story is intense, sexy, and the conflicts they struggle with deeply personal. The writing was wonderful and pure, vivid emotion filled the pages. I can't wait for the second book to find out what happens next.

After getting this book to read in exchange for a review, I had to buy it!
I honestly cannot wait to read the next in this series.
If it weren't for actually having to deal with life, I would have read this book in one sitting. I wanted to know what would happen Izzy and her relationship with her husband and her -more-.
I imagine that lots of people crave what Izzy is looking for. Maybe not a BDSM relationship but to feel loved and cared for. The story was relatable and not just a fantasy love story and I think that is what made me want to keep reading.
