A few years ago, I was homeless; sleeping in a tent on Gunrock Beach. Today, I’m one of the richest, most-powerful and feared men on the planet; a master.

My transition from a man-without-means to a demigod- a human capable of manifesting any reality I desire- began with the purchase of a book of black majik, written by another master. When I purchased the book, (which cost me everything: my money, my job, my lover, my college education,) I made a covenant with the witch who sold it to me: “What would a book be worth that taught you how to acquire everything your heart desired? Before you purchase it, I must warn you, there are a few rules - 1. You must read the entire book - 2. You must try some of the things in the book - 3. When you acquire something, via majik, worth more than what you paid for the book- through lessons you learn within the book- you must tell as many people as possible, in as persuasive a way as possible- what you acquired, and how you acquired it.”

Condition 1- Read the entire book. DONE. Condition 2- Try some of the things in the book. DONE. The third condition was a little more ambiguous; I really didn’t understand what I was signing up for when I agreed to it. Condition 3- When you acquire something via majik worth more than what you paid- tell as many people as possible- what you acquired, and how you acquired it. PENDING.

I agreed to an open ended contract! Notice the wording, you must tell as many people as possible- at the time I believed that to mean, tell my friends, neighbors, peers- anyone who might want to know about what I experienced. I didn’t really consider her words carefully enough at the time; my mistake. “As many people as possible” means- as I interpret it now- I must spend considerable resources in chi-energy fulfilling this condition.

I have obtained vast wealth via the majik I learned, and the spiritual forces I unleashed- far more than what the book cost me in absolute dollars. Because I made this promise- even though I didn’t realize the implications when I made the promise- I will honor this covenant.

This is why I’m writing this, it’s a promise I made and a promise I will keep. It is my life’s mission, my goal, my reason for existence; I will leave nothing on the field. I remember the words of Mr. Mitchell-
“If you desire to achieve a worthwhile goal,
you must be willing to DIE for that goal.
You must be willing to yell,
at the top of your lungs,
‘I’m going to do this!
No matter what the cost!
No matter what it takes!’
This is the deepest level of commitment:
everything you have.
If it’s worth doing:
do it;
die for it.
Leave nothing on the field.
Use every drop of focussed power,
to achieve a goal worth doing.

Drew: “So, what’s a prion anyways?”
Antwon: “A prion’s like a virus that can’t be killed. A self-replicating protein that acts like a virus. Eat beef infected with these self-replicating proteins- prions- prions infiltrate your bloodstream; slowly, methodically, reproduce themselves inside your brain. These prion-things, bounce around a victim’s skull, until he loses his mind. Twenty years later, the infected human falls dead. Prions are scary. Virus and bacteria can be killed by cooking, NOT prions. Prions in a steak can be cooked ‘well done’ the prion is unaffected.”
Drew: “No shit?”
Antwon: “No shit. Even worse than that. Eat a prion, you have no idea you’ve been affected; Twenty-five-years later your brain’s destroyed with Mad Cow.

Let me warn you. This is written as fiction, but I am pretty sure that the author has a good background in Magick. The book is written from a first person personal perspective, and it basically details the life of a initiate into a study of magic in a very truthful way.
If you are looking for fiction, you are probably going to be surprised. This is the story of a acolyte in the path to power. I do disagree with some of the views of the minds of the Adepts and the Magus. It has been my experience that the Adept seeks power, while the Magus has transcended the quest for power, and now seeks only experiences, wisdom, and knowledge.
If you are interested in reading about a man on the path to mystical enlightenment, written in an interesting and entertaining way, this is the book for you. Just don't ask me what the genre is if we have to call it fiction.
