They say crime doesn't pay, but some people in the west set out to prove that wrong, the outlaws. Roy wasn't one of those men. He took it upon himself personally to prove those murderous fugitives wrong, and he was there to collect his payments. And being the fastest draw in the west he never had much trouble. That was until he met up with the heartless killer Diamondback and his ruthless gang.
Yeah, this is not a good book. It feels more like an outline of a book than an actual novel. A lot of the book is over explained and the writing is rather convoluted, as well as the plot, with more convenient coincidences than a Dickens novel.
And yet, there are parts of this book that are unintentionally funny and make the book rather entertaining. I mean there are names of characters like Diamondback, Cutthroat, Buckshot, and Itchy. There are some of the most interesting ways of putting things such as "The body of the snake lay nimble on a side, without a head to control it." or "After a while, they were all making jokes about how she would look if she was chasing after a bandit on a horse and she had to run with her legs." Or "The only witness to all of these crimes was the bright, hot sun. To the sun it was just another day in the west." These type of interesting wordings as well as some of the intriguing plot twists were enough to keep me reading until the end.
