The Leadership Code: A Simple Guide to Amplifying Your Mindset & Methods

Rate this book
This book is for the leader in all of us. I wanted to put everything that I have learned about leadership and how to create an unstoppable legacy into a simple guide for anyone to read. This includes lessons that I picked up on my own, and many facets that I have learned directly from others. Until recently, I didn’t realize that I lived by a “code” in business. I was simply doing what I know what works best. Now, it’s time to share that code with you.

Good book. Not drawn out and doesn’t repeat like many others. Bought a book for all our of interns this summer because it does a nice job of relating to beginners in any field that involves a team and thinking big!

Exceptional read for anyone looking to raise their leadership lid!

Britton’s 15 methods that he details in this book are sure to guide you into a better leader. Focusing on the 4 Cs he mentions in the book are helping create a flawless vision for where I want our organization to be!

Great read by a Phenomenal Teacher/Mentor/Leader.

I look forward to getting my hands on your next book and continuing to implement the tools listed in his first book!

Thought Provoking, Easy Read

Good book, short but impactful, not a deep read, so it can appeal to non readers who need to be lofted up.

This is a great read for those starting and it’s not directed to just “leadership”. It also gives ways to “lead” an overall better life with simple methods and mindset practice. This is a very good book.

I love th simplicity of the book. Also, the addition of personal experiences made the explanations clearer.

Quality leadership book! I’m going to be honest, I’m not in any type of leadership and only bought the book because it was cheap and a top seller through amazon. I read the first chapter which talked about “focus” and it was very relevant to my day to day life. I always focus on everyone else and never found much time to focus on myself. That very little part about balancing focus was very necessary for me to read. I made a short list of things I need to focus on for myself after reading just that chapter alone. It’s a quick read and overall I genuinely enjoyed reading it.

Very affordable! I have a lot of respect when books are reasonably priced . It’s not a 500/600 page book , about 132 pages and has some great value. I run a small team and highlighted a good bit of concepts and catch phrases that I plan on using in my own team meetings. I also looked the author up and this appears to be his first book, great job overall and hope to see another book in the future.

Trite

People have been writing and thinking about leadership and personal development for thousands of years. Unfortunately this book does not add to that body of knowledge. Instead, it plays like a top ten list of cliches -- and like listening to a radio station that plays only the hits, you find some catchy tunes, but it's probably not going to change your life.

Real and Simple and real simple.

Britton takes the message of what it takes to decide to be, to become and remain a leader and breaks it down clearly and succinctly. He’s like an award-winning chef who can break down a complex recipe for a new cook and have that cook get the same expert- level results. This is a rare skill and he accomplishes it, flawlessly.
