I am definitely a fan of The Shadow. I've read a bunch of the books and the latest one I read is the movie adaptation.
It's the written adaptation plus it has a bunch of photos from the movie.
One major advantage of an adaptation is that there will be things that happen in the book that were not seen in the production itself, especially how people are thinking about things, and to me something like that is important.
That's why I like this book so much since it does have internal dialogue at times plus it does a pretty good job of reprising what happened in the movie.
In case you didn't know it there's a set of trading cards from the movie and they're pretty good.
Was reading it off of internet archive, it got to actin up last night so I'm in the middle of it, enjoyed it so far, it's set in the same order as the movie & includes a few stills from it they're in black & white though, love the cast, the whole 30s theme & the music real good movie & I'm a true compassionate 🎥 fanatic/buff whatever Alec Baldwin, Penelope Ann Miller, John lone & Peter Boyle were great in it.
