Accidental Groom

Bad boy. Player. Commitment-phobe. Husband?

I’m Mac.
But you already know that, right?
You probably recognize my voice…
I’m the radio host with a f***-me-now baritone who sends a shiver down your spine when you sip your morning coffee – along with the rest of Sacramento’s female population.
If there’s one other thing you should know about me, it’s that I’m a lone wolf.
Hell yeah, I get my fair share of the ladies. Plural.
But I’ve never been a one-woman man.
Not since my last screwed-up relationship.
Not since the drama, the guilt, that has haunted me ever since.
These days, there’s only so much hurt I’m willing to give or take.
On the outside, I might seem perfect: blue eyes, built, a brave, alpha attitude.
But every day is another battle with my demons. A struggle to stay afloat.
And yeah, that fight’s a whole lot safer on my own. For everyone.

But then I saw Kelley. She was alone, crying at the bus-stop.
From that moment, I knew she needed me.
I knew I needed her.
Full, sexy lips. Long chestnut hair. A dancer’s body.
She’s a work of art.
Next thing, our clothes are lying in a heap around us.
She’s moaning in my arms.
She’s screaming my name.
She’s shivering in pleasure.
Before I know it, we’re waking up naked. Except on my left-hand is a shiny, gold ring.
Kelley’s not just a hot-as-hell one-night stand.
She’s my wife.

I can’t deny that I’m glad she’s mine.
But I’m not husband material.
Knowing my track record, I’m bound to screw things up.
What’s worse… It turns out there’s something she’s not telling me.
She’s battling her own heartbreak and tragedy seems to follow her around.
Her walls are up, and it’s going to be one hell of a challenge to crash them down.
The odds are well and truly stacked against us.
So this thing can’t last, can it? Even if I want it to…

This is a full-length, standalone romance with some hot-under-the-collar action, no cheating, and a guaranteed HEA. For fans of R.S Grey, Whitney G. and Vi Keeland, Accidental Groom features a sexy AF alpha and a steamy will-they-won’t-they love story that will have you completely hooked.

Mac Thomas is a sexy host of a radio show that is at leastly partly centred around his commitment issues and playboy status. Oh, yes, he is very popular with ladies, although he is always upfront about not wanting a relationship. Mac is also a recovering alcoholic.
Mac sees Kelley sitting at a bus stop, crying, clealry distressed about something. In fact, Mac doesn't know this, but Kelley has just found her best friend/flatmate in bed with Kelley's ex-boyfriend. Not only does Kelley feel betrayed by her friend of many years, but also she has to move out because Megan allows the sleezy ex move in.
Kelley is difficult to forget, so the next time Mac sees her, he strikes a conversation and invites Kelley for a lunch out. Things progress quickly and Mac invites her to spend a weekend away at a comedy festival. Kelley isn't aware of his issues with alcohol, so she doesn't try to stop him when he breaks his sobriety. In the morning Mac wakes up in bed with Kelley and a new and shiny wedding bands on left hand. What do you do when you find yourself accidentally married?
The plot may be a bit predictable, but it doesn't take away from its entertainment value. The pace is fast, and there is a good balance between hot and sizzling scenes and the discovery of the protagonists' past coupled with the development of trust and other feelings for each other. Of course, they have known one another for a ridiculously short time, while the issues they have to deal with are pretty heavy....I found the last chapter, set in one year time, a more realistic timeframe, and I found the ending sweet and satisfying.

Audiobook review. 3.5 stars. Mac is the typical reformed playboy and Kelley the pretty lady that makes him want to change his ways. I enjoyed the story. It was straightforward and there weren’t any real surprises, which is what the rating is attributed to.

The characters were definitely flawed with some growth to show for story progression. They had a good connection and the sexy times were well done. The plot was solid though a bit predictable. I found the ending to be really sweet.

The narrator, Kelsey Navarro, did a good job with her pace, tone, and pitch. She was clear and transitioned well between genders. I was quite impressed by her male voice.

I love Romantic Comedies. They are fun and exciting. And, Dana Mason hit a home run with this one. Accidental Groom was funny, emotional, interesting and sexy.

Mac was a hoot. Morning DJ … playboy … sexy … outgoing. But, married was never going to be one of attributes. One night, one girl, lots of chemistry and it's done. Now, he has some hard truths to face and even harder decisions. Can this woman, who he just met, actually be the one to bring the mighty Mac to his knees and realize that he can have a happily-ever-after?

Kelley has had a hard time of it. She never meant for anyone to see her fall apart. But, someone did. Now, that someone is asking her to get away for the week-end with him. After everything she found out, yea she needs to get away from it all. From losing her best friend and losing her boyfriend, the last thing she ever expected was to be a married woman. But, there is something about Mac that she is absolutely drawn too. Yep, he's hot, he has a reputation but he's also kind, considerate and caring. No one has ever cared about her like he does. She knows he doesn't want to be married, does she?

As they both confront their pasts while burning up the sheets, they come to realize that the “accident” may have been the best thing that happened to them.

Accidental Groom was wonderful. I loved all the different sides of Mac and how he truly helped Kelley in her time of need. He may have been made out to be a playboy but his values really wouldn't let him. In the end he really was a hero and the character that held this story together. His sister … let's just say that she redeemed herself in the end and leave it at that. And, Kelley's BFF … still not sure if I like or trust her. But, Kelley, yea, she had me at the beginning and totally grabbed on when her story came out. Loved her. Kelley and Mac together were phenomenal, fun, crazy, loving and perfect for each other. Dana Mason really pulled me into this story and had me smiling, laughing, crying and hoping that Mac and Kelley would see what was right in front of them.

Accidental Groom is the first book in the Accidental Love series.

Mac is a celebrity morning radio host ,a womanizer ,and an ex-alcoholic. A chance meeting with an upset Kelly who was getting over finding her best friend in bed with her boyfriend ends with a trip to Reno for the weekend. After a night of partying they find themselves married the next morning with no idea how to go around getting out of this mess.

Accidental Groom is a contemporary adult romance book with complex characters that made it an interesting read and had me rooting for happily ever after.

I would like to thank Bookouture & NetGalley for providing an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest and fair review.

I'm a sucker for a good contemporary romance and this book hits all the right button for me. I was hooked from the start. Highly recommended for those who enjoy a stress-free, sizzling sweet romance.

I love, love, love the chemistry between Mac and Kelley. I think they complimented each other really well. They are sweet and their attraction was palpable from the start.

I'm not really sure how I feel about Kelley agreeing to go out of town with Mac, just a few hours after they have met. Just because his face was plastered all over the city bus doesn't mean that he couldn't get away with murder. I don't think it was a smart decision on Kelley's part.

I also like the fact that both characters come with their own baggage. You wold think with their past, they would drag each other with their miseries. But I feel like they draw strength from each other. Their weaknesses complimented each other's strength and vice versa. I think that what makes their relationship oh-so-beautiful and got me hooked and invested with every pages.

This book was heavier than I expected. I was really enjoying the story. At the beginning of a few chapters, I knew I'm going to love this book. And yes, I loved it!

I liked the plot and this book I thought this book was well written. I have some little issue with Mac's character, I wasn't feel like he is a playboy. In some chapters I felt like he is committed person and has an adorable manner. If he is a playboy, his character should be like one and he is really funny. Anyway, Mac is one if the characters I fell in love with.

This story has a fast pace and I really enjoyed it. Seriously I was really shook when Mac suddenly became a groom. Accidental groom. What happened to Mac and Kelley was really messed up.

Kelley is a main female character and I really liked her character. I can relate with her and I kind of understand her. She has this humor which I always laughed at throughout the story.

This book was really good and I really enjoyed it. This book will make you laugh, cry and feel all the feels. Can't wait for the next book. It also left me with this warm and fuzzy feeling. Highly recommended.

Mackensey is a ladies man. He is the love them and leave them type and to say he is a commitment-phobe is an understatement, but when Mackensey eyes a girl crying on a bench outside the local coffee shop, he can’t help but be moved by her. Kelley is a local college student who is suffering through her own heartbreak. Meeting Mackensey by chance has the potential to change both of their lives in ways neither Mackensey or Kelley ever realized. It’s not every day you wake up after a night drinking only to realize you are now married. Can Mackensey ever get over his commitment phobia to give their relationship the chance it deserves?

When I went in reading this story I thought I was going to get a sweet romance with an all too familiar trope (which I love!) and while that is true for the most part, the story is more than just a romance. The story deals with some heavy hitting topics and both Mackensey and Kelley have a lot to deal with as individuals. Dana Mason really writes with such honesty and shows how two damaged people deal with their past while trying to make a future. I really think this part of the story was done really well and often showed a side to both Mackensey and Kelley that shows them as both flawed characters, but with so much to give for the right person.

The story did move kind of fast and I was a little leary knowing that Kelley agreed to go away with Mackensey pretty much right away after they met. Personally, it is not something I would do. With my luck, I would be agreeing to go away with a serial killer and find myself chained to a bed, but I digress, this is not about me right now. I will say though, Mackensey does come across as a sweetheart and really takes an interest in Kelley and he really does treat her with respect. I love how Mackensey can see Kelley is different and not like other women he has previously dated. There is a big misunderstanding that adds a bit of drama in their relationship, but it was handled pretty well and Kelley did not border on TSTL which was a big relief for me.

Accidental Groom is a sweet romance with a heat level that is off the charts! What a great start to a new series and I can not wait to see what comes next.

You never know what you are going to get when you dive into a new author, but in this instance I was pleasantly surprised. Now any book where the couple wakes up married is pretty much an auto read for me- give them all to me! And I’m always really surprised by different author’s takes on it.
.
Our hero is a presenter for a radio show and a confirmed bachelor. Yet one day he sees this girl crying her eyes out and can’t get her out of his mind, so when he sees her again (not crying) he approaches her and asks her out (because well, she’s cute lol). One thing leads to another and they spend the weekend together and maybe accidentally get married.......
.
The thing I liked most about this book was how real it felt. It felt like real modern day dating (which honestly most feel like fantasy to me). It was a real developing relationship and they dealt with real issues including alcoholism. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that after all this realness the ending got wrapped up too tidily. Still though the right amount of real, sweet and 🔥🔥.

Don’t believe it even for a second that Mac is a playboy. He might be a commitment-phobe, but I have never seen a man freak out in such a sexy and adorable manner.

Kelly and Mac’s story is a straight outta Vegas kinda story but their chemistry is mesmerizing right from the start. While Mac feels a genuine connection with this ‘green-eyed’ girl, Kelly is all-in, even if its just a phase or a one night stand.

Mac is a heartthrob, and Kelley is the poster girl for bad fate. They accidentally get married in an all-night wedding church in Reno and regret it right away. But Mac isn’t ready to let go, even if it was a terrible mistake on both their parts.

I do have a problem with Mac’s character, especially in the initial chapters. Mac doesn’t feel like a playboy, or a no commitments person. A couple of chapters to show this aspect of his character was necessary. I think Mac is one of those characters I fell in love with, especially his dialogues which were so thoughtful and funny.

Rest assured, this is such a comforting piece of Romance. I anticipated the worst and the best, and this book left me with warm, fuzzy feelings.

Tense, hot, and sexy AF!!! FIVE STARS!

I’m a Dana Mason fan, so, needless to say, I’ve read all her books, all of which are romantic suspense. Until now. Now Mason’s ventured into straight-out sizzling-hot romance, and boy has she nailed it!

Mac, a DJ, is dreamy and sexy AF, but flawed and scarred. Kelley, a dancer, is gorgeous and sweet, but damaged and haunted. Put the two together and you have both instant chemistry and profound drama.

These two seem destined to be together, and not just for the sex, though that’s definitely off-the-charts intense. Mac and Kelley each have a past that’s left its mark, but, if they can just stay together and work through it all, they’re fated to heal one another. Unfortunately, that’s easier said than done. I won’t spoil it by sharing a blow-by-blow synopsis. You gotta walk into this one unprepared for all that happens.

As far as the writing goes, Mason, as usual, did an excellent job fully developing her characters. The plot moves along at a comfortable pace, not slow, but also not too fast. Just perfect, I’d say, with both passion and tension in all the right places. The dialog feels real and their interactions believable. Mason’s writing is crisp and concise. No wasted words or fluff and filler. It’s deep and emotional and fun, definitely a read-through-the-night story that keeps you turning the pages and unwilling to put it down until you’re done, and then you’ll be sad to leave Mac and Kelley’s world, but happy to have experienced their story.

I’m so happy Mason has forayed into romance. She’s really good at it and knows exactly what the reader wants. I highly recommend Accidental Groom!

4.5 star review Accidental Groom by Dana Mason

AUDIO REVIEW:

Both Dana Mason and narrator Kelsey Navarro were new to me.

This was a story that pulled me in and kept me engaged right from the start. The narration was good and certainly enhanced my enjoyment of the story.

This was a sweet, romantic story that had quite a few laugh out loud moments but was also at times an emotional roller coaster.

What happens when two equally damaged souls collide? They go on a weekend away and wind up married, now the big question is what happens next?

Can Mac and Kelley help each other to come to terms with the tragedies in their pasts and in turn create a future together?

I really liked Mac’s need to protect Kelley and it was obvious well before he acknowledged his feelings that he had fallen for Kelley.

The chemistry between them is intense and feelings grow, but do they want the same things? Or will miss communication threaten Mac and Kelley’s chance to finally get the happily ever after they both deserve?

The main problem I had with this book is that everything happened too fast. The pace of the writing, the story itself, it made the story feel rushed. I wanted to know more, there were more words than actions.

I mean they basically met and yet they’re planning a trip together. Already?

I feel like the book was meant to be a normal looking novel but the instalove between main characters kind of ruined it for me.

I didn’t feel connected to the characters at all, the first 20 % I even thought of DNF-ing this book. I wasn’t invested in the story, I read through pages without feeling anything. I could have DNF it and I wouldn’t feel absolutely any regret.

I also found one inconsistency: sometimes they said that they know each other for weeks, sometimes even days. I got the feeling that all story happened in maybe a week time, which is for me way too soon.

3 ”meh” stars.

I like to read this kind of contemporary romance.
Even the base of the story is maybe déjà vu, it didn't bothered me at all because I liked the characters and the authors way of telling theirs story. I was glued to my kindle all the way to the end rooting for their happy end. Totally entertaining and interesting to read. Since it is first of the instalment, I will definitely read the others in the series too.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for this digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.
After the last book I read turned out to be less adult than I was expecting, I turned to a book that I judged by the cover and synopsis. After only knowing each other for a day, the two main characters wake up in Reno and are married. What other tropes could you ask for?
I liked this book for the most part but it was heavier than I expected. It dealt with some pretty serious topics (alcoholism for one). It takes a while for me to warm up to both Kelley and Mac because they jumped in with both feet and there wasn't enough time to establish anything between them. They got into bed pretty quickly. I will say that Dana Mason writes some good smut and there wasn't anything cringe-worthy throughout the book. Kelley deals with the cliche of walking in on her roommate and newly ex-boyfriend getting it on in the living room so neither of them are likable. I feel that Kelley's roommate is incredibly naive and selfish throughout the entire book so I'm not a huge fan of the redemption arc in the end. There are valid excuses but it's too little too late for me. There's also the miscommunication trope that gets a little played out in the story. There are some enjoyable moments throughout the story, which is enough to earn it 3 stars. It's still middle of the road with certain elements that needed to be worked on. I would likely still read Dana Mason in the future.

This is book is the first book in the Accidental Love series.

I was hooked after reading book two in the series and fell down the rabbit hole that is Dana Mason. Set your weekend aside if you plan on reading anything from this author. I was enthralled and completely immersed in the characters. This book has true depth. The characterization is amazing. This is like experiencing real life and watching your friends go through troubles. I was like a deer in the headlights and I could not look away.

Mackensey is a popular radio host who is known to be a real player with the ladies. Never the same girl twice and never at his own apartment. Then enter Kelley. Her life is totally screwed up. She found her boyfriend and her best friend “doing it” on the couch of the apartment she shared with said BFF. After that humiliation which is bad enough her roomie asks her ex-boyfriend to live with them. This was not okay and she was having a hard time handling it. When she ended up at her favorite coffee shop she had no idea she had the eye of radio’s most popular DJ. And when they met a week later at the same coffee shop, it was almost like destiny came a calling.

When I was reading this I couldn’t believe how quickly I became invested in all the drama. I felt bad for Kelley and her entire situation. She had no where else to go and no money to move and had to live with what could only be seen as a nightmare situation. Adding Mac to the mix only put kerosene to the fire. What a wild ride!

One of my most favorite books of 2019. Definitely check out all of Dana Mason’s titles and get hooked into romance, drama and high stakes. You won’t be disappointed.

Mac is a radio show host. While he is having a coffee he meets Kelley, a beautiful girl who is living a hard situation.
They start to speak and they see that they share a very strong attraction.
Mac needs to travel to Reno because of his job and he invites Kelley to go with him. Just as a casual couple. Because although it's true that they have chemistry between them, Kelley has just finished a relationship in not very good terms. Amd Mac is allergic to commitment.
So, after having too many drinks, you can imagine their surprise when they wake up being married. After their initial shock, it's the moment to take decisions.
I liked the story. It's fun and fresh. And I adore Mac. He is just perfect. And he doesn't know it. Which makes him even more perfect.

I don’t often read this kind of books. ‘Why?’you might ask. Well, the reason is quite simple. I like a strong story where the sex scenes add something and not pages filled with bedroom activities only.

OMG! I was so pleased with this one. I loved all the strong raw emotions. The amount of sex was just perfect. I was very happy to see they acted like normal people and not a bunch of rabbits. 😉

Mac as well as Kelley have a lot of baggage, but that only makes the story stronger and more beautiful. I liked the way they were both surrounded by people they could count on and could turn to for advice, but I liked even more that they both came out stronger.

It’s a book I read in one day. I was pleasantly surprised by the way the author was able to affect me so deeply.

I won’t come to you as a shock that I am waiting to find out what the future will bring. Can I fast forward, please? 🙂

Give it a try. I am sure you will not be let down. 5 stars.

The "Sizzler Alert" was definitely required for this book! Mac is a famous radio DJ who is well known for being a player. Kelley is struggling to fund her way through school after a serious accident left her broke, heartbroken and injured. A chance meeting in Starbucks begins this story of love, sex and romance.
A brilliant read, I had it done in a couple of days! An escape novel of the highest order, I really didn't want to come back to the real world.

I really enjoyed the emotional depth of Mac and Kelley’s story. I wish it hadn't been advertised as a rom-com because except for the premise of an accidental drunken wedding the story is pretty serious and dramatic! These are two broken people with tons of baggage who find each other and possibly love!? They are realistic and loveable! I cheered them on the entire time! I look forward to more by this author.
Biggest audiobook complain--there was one female narrator and it is a dual POV! I wish they would have had a male narrator too! It would have added to the story. I find myself reading on my kindle then listening.

This is the first book I've read/listened to by Dana Mason and I will definitely be reading more. This story hit a lot of boxes for me: great characters, layers of backstory for both main characters, great friends and family (except for one crappy best friend), instant attraction, meddling family, miscommunication, and a guy who doesn't have the first clue about anyone's emotions, especially his own. I found I could relate to Mac being a radio personality and the rabid women who were his followers. My husband used to have that job and the same problem, lol.
I love how this story begins, Mac catches sight of Kelley crying outside of Starbucks and it sticks with him. Known as a player to his friends and fans, his interest is unexpected. A week later, he has the opportunity to meet her and then the whirlwind of their relationship takes off. A lot happens in this story in a very short time, things that are out of character for both Mac and Kelley, yet it works for them. Both characters harbor secrets that impact their present, and both vow to not google each other. Mac's a great alpha male, even though he doesn't recognize the emotions he feels. He is sweet, caring, and protective of Kelley. He is also smug, smart, funny and sexy. I love the banter between the characters in this book. Mac's sister and his friend Jeff are brutally honest and supportive and great additions to the story.
Kelley's had a tough few years, she's lost more than her fair share and is trying to overcome her past the best she can. With her career ripped away, she's going to school in hopes of eventually owning her own dance studio. She meets Mac and her world is almost instantly turned upside down. A weekend trip to Reno is just the getaway she needs but she doesn't expect to wake up married to the sexy as sin Mac. Their relationship is fast, full of misconceptions and miscommunications, a meddling sister, and an underlying current of something that could lead to more.
I totally enjoyed listening to this audiobook. Kelsey Navarro did a spectacular job with tone and pacing. Her male voices are sexy and distinctive and her female voices sweet and full of emotions. I'll be looking for more books that she has recorded. I can't wait to read/listen the next book in the series.

This story is great, Mac and Kelley found each other when they needed it the most. Mac is living through life without meaning and Kelley is trying to get over all the hard time. When Mac saw Kelley crying he feel protective but it was love and he don't know the feeling. The story developed from there to a beautiful love story that have high and low but is a great one. I enjoy reading this book and recommend it.

When I heard that Dana Mason was releasing a new book I was thrilled! Already a Dana Mason fan, no one had to convince me to read Accidental Groom when it became available, I snatched it up and didn't put it down until I finished. I loved Mac and Kelley's story. It had all the makings of a perfectly spun contemporary romance and I wasn't disappointed. You'll think you know this storyline ~ guy sees girl, guy talks to girl, guy and girl get drunk, and then life-changing dominos begin to fall, but you don't know this storyline at all. Not the way Dana Mason tells it.

Mac is...well, Mac is insecure. He comes off as being LA's playboy. A radio show jock who gets paid to play the part of womanizer and player, but he's tired of the game. Maybe that was why when he saw Kelley crying on a bench in front of his favorite coffee shop, something inside him changed. The problem was, this self-proclaimed single forever DJ just found himself truly enamored by a woman for the first time in his life. For the first time, he wanted to know more about this woman and he didn't even know her name.

Kelley's life is slowly, well, check that, quickly, falling apart. Walking in on her best friend and now ex in bed together was the final straw of an already jammed back crappy life. All she wanted to do was finish school, get her degree, and move on with her life, but the universe wasn't having it, or was it? Was the addition of Mac to her life going to be nothing more than a little bit of fun in her stressed out world, or would he be the catalyst to putting her life back on track? Those who knew Mac said it was the former, but Kelley, who is falling for him deeply, wonders, hopes, and prays it's the latter.

I loved the flirty, sexy, fast pace of Mac and Kelley's story. The secondary characters like Mike and Emily were also a bonus and I HOPE Dana plans to write their stories as well. Accidental Groom is written in first person POV split between Mac and Kelley, and also in present tense. I'm normally one who completely avoids present tense in romance because it's rarely done right and usually slips back and forth between tenses, but NOT Accidental Groom! It was flawless and I can't imagine the story being told any other way.

I refuse to do spoiler reviews and this book is really hard to review without spoiling the biggest storyline arcs, but let me say this -- when you find out why Mac is the way he is, and why Kelley is the way she is, you'll quickly come to grips with how absolutely perfect they are for each other. I can also promise you, you'll be hooked from page one all the way to their happily ever after.

I give Accidental Groom five cups of super hot, super strong, want to consume this all in one sitting cups of coffee!

Audio Review: Accidental Groom by Dana Mason (Author), Kelsey Navarro (Narrator)

An entertaining delight. Mason made sure that the laughs were a stepping stone to her taking over your heart. Mac and Kelly are mess made in real life. Yet they manage to find their way to a happily ever after. Accidental Groom brings a smile to your face and puts love in your heart. Delightful.

3.5 Stars!

This was a romance with a little drama, a little heart, and a whole lot of sexy. I love when a character makes up their mind and sticks to it! Mac is the difference between an asshole and a guy just having fun. Even when you’re just having fun your actions still impact others, and he seems to recognize this, but his on-air persona is another story. It’s really enjoyable getting to know him throughout the book. Kelley has dealt with so much and it’s interesting to see her on this journey towards her goals despite all of the barriers and set backs. I can see some of the situations in this book are problematic, but overall I think this is an enjoyable romance read.

This book was just okay for me. I liked the premise: bad boy/playboy/jock meets girl and gets married without her knowing his other persona. Unfortunately I found the characters to be incredibly immature, especially Kelley. While she was a college student, the author wrote her as an older student who went back to school following a tragedy in her dance career. However, she was portrayed as a typical college student - with little responsibility. I'm not a fan of new adult stories, which is probably why I didn't really enjoy this story line.

Wow- this book certainly was not what I expected. I was all set for a steamy bad boy meets good girl story. Although it has it's sexy moments Mac and Kelley's story is filled with pain and misunderstandings. I wasn't able to put it down as they work through their feelings after their ridiculous marriage. The subject of abuse added an interesting, heart felt element to Mac's story and I love the compassionately way it was written. A beautifully written cotemporary romance that I highly recommend. Now onto Emily's story.

A great story with lots of twists and turns. Mac is a radio DJ who has a playboy reputation who when he sees a girl crying at the bus stop can’t get her out of his head, a challenging notion for him. Kelley has a broken past and has just caught her ex (from yesterday) having sex on the couch with her roommate and friend which is the icing on the cake. When she meets Mac there is a connection and agrees to go to Reno with him. But he is hiding a secret and one thing leads to another and they will have a journey to find each other to have a chance of a happy ever after.

Kelley and Mackensey have an emotionally turbulent relationship from the moment he lays eyes on her. They have unsaid pasts, make mistakes, and a failure to fully communicate. That's a lot for their first weekend together! I loved their story.
