Carl Weber's Kingpins: Jamaica

Rate this book
Gaza was born and raised in McGregor Gully, one of Jamaica’s grittiest housing projects in the slums of East Kingston. Growing up in poverty, he was exposed to robbery and murder at a tender age. In order to stay alive, he quickly adapted to a life of crime. Now he is one of the coldest killers and richest kingpins to ever walk the streets of Kingston. Whoever comes into contact with him and his crew either loves them, fears them, or wants to see them dead. The entrance of Catherine into his life just might change everything.

Catherine, a young and determined federal agent, is rapidly climbing the chain of command. When she crosses paths with this deadly, charismatic stranger on one of her assignments, she’s enchanted by his jovial ways. Soon she forgets one of the most important law enforcement Trust no one.

Camille is a young Jamaican beauty who is hot on the dancehall scene. With a banging body and a good mouthpiece, she has no problem getting whatever she wants, including Gaza. She is not about to let Catherine come in and take over her spot.

Betrayal and backstabbing is at a high level, and Gaza is determined to wreak havoc on anyone who stands in his way. No one is safe, not even the people closest to him. Will this young thug risk it all to maintain his power, or will he be blinded by love for the woman who was hired to bring him down?

A good read. I just know there has to be a sequel to follow up on what happens to Gaza, Camille, and of course federal agent Catherine aka Indica.

WOW,WOW WOW!!

How can you paint a pic of Gaza being so careful and cautious the 2nd time around only to turn around and make him look dumb as HELL!! Everything I've been reading about this KINGPIN that you made him out to be was a good man , a smart man, but a cheater. Now I guess he's gone away forever now! You really dropped the ball on this one! You made us love him then stripped everything away! I know there has to be a part 2 cause there is to many questions left unanswered! That wasn't an ending! Camille don't get to find out about her best friend?!!!? Gaza don't get out on some technicality? PLEASE BE A BOOK 2

2nd Part Please

I loved this book so much that I think it should be a 2nd part to it. I would love to see if Cathy talks to Gaza and how that conversation would go. I want to know what will happen to Camille's and Sophia's friendship when Camille finds out about Gaza and Sophia messing around.

There has to be another book coming after this... Gaza was something serious and dangerous even. I thinking that Catherine/Cathy/Indica still have feeling for Gaza and somehow I think Gaza is going to get out. I feel bad for what happened to Camille, however I mother did warn her that she needed to leave him alone. I feel bad also for Miles. I do hope he finds his happen ending soon because it don't seem like he will be getting it with Cathy. Looking forward to reading the next book whenever it is written.

You would think after serving 13 years in prison and being deported, Gaza would leave the drug game alone. The love of the money and lifestyle will draw him back in. He was a kingpin in NYC and he would be that in Jamaica too. He definitely didn't see it coming being set-up by Federal agent Catherine. Gaza killed the guy in his crew who ratted him out, but he still going away probably for life. Wish it was a 2nd book.

Bad endimgr

I didn't like that it ended with Camille getting busted. Could've been more about that and more about Gaza and Cathy meeting up.

I enjoyed this read and look forward to book two

It was informing showing the loyalty and betrayal that can come from any direction. Giving rise to the question, in life who can you really trust? Self only.
