I really enjoyed this book! I'm looking forward to reading book 2. The storyline was great and held my attention the whole time. In fact, I flipped a little towards the end cause I couldn't wait to see what was coming up. Only good books make me do that Lol.
WOW, this story was off the chain crazy! So many things happened. It was apparent that this was a sequel as it referred to several events that had happened before and it was a bit confusing about how some of the characters were related to one another (found out they were sisters, so-and-so is my cousin, etc). I still don't know who all was related. But one of the things I really enjoyed about this book was Ceanna's character. She was fun, funny and loving towards everyone, even those that had wronged or betrayed her. I also really liked the romance between her and Avantae. It was so sweet. I was glad that Ceanna had a level head despite all the drama people were bringing and didn't let anyone come between them. She was a great example of showing forgiveness. Now I had a problem with one part - one of Avantae's actions toward the end - but I don't want to spoil it for those that haven't read it yet. I just didn't like that he was that cold and it changed my opinion of him after liking his character so much throughout the story before that. But definitely this is a good Urban Fiction story with minimal violence and lots of crazy drama and I'd read more by this author.
This book took me on a ride that I didn’t know existed. Ceanna & Avantae went through so much stuff in this book that as I got to the last 2 chapters I just knew that Jaceyon was gonna steal the twins and more stuff was going to happen but it ended better that I expected I appreciate the closure. However I wanted to know how Jaceyon died detail by detail because I still feel like this fool is still alive somehow, like the alligators didn’t eat all of him just a leg or arm and somehow he’s going to come back and cause all hell to break loose again. Jaceyon’s capture was epic he thought she was prey when he was the real prey. This book was an unpredictable, drama-filled, web filled with lies & deceit. And the book never revealed if Jaceyon killed Avantae’s father or not? This is the first book I have read by Jessica Wren but it definitely won’t be my last. The rest of her art are in my Amazon cart now. She is a MUST READ!!!

The first time I read one of this Author book's. I was immediately impressed and went searching for some more of her books. Ceanna had to endure a lot and overcome a lot. Especially with those who were around her who she thought had her best interest at heart. Dealing with men like Marcus and Jaceyon along with betrayal from close friends. Broke her spirit, trust and confidence. However her strength, resilience, willingness to forgive, and love from Avantae helped build her back up. Avantae was very protective of Ceanna and he had ever right to be. Although they had several people who caused nothing but drama in their life. Their bond was unbreakable. Jaceyon lost the little common sense he had and became obsessed with trying to seek revenge.
1st of Silk of you have not read the worst that's ever 1-3 you slipping, when I tell you it's better than why movie boy do I mean it. The trilogy it's impeccable just like Jessica Wren. I was seriously in each page hanging of the edge it my seat. Then she lifts my spirits when she writes I was made to love you. This woman knows the fans need love t😘. This book brought the characters back in full effect. How amazing I can't wait for the 2nd book and all of what it's to come
WHAT A STORY!!! The first part was a bit weird. It was detailed and suddenly it was all over the place with so many events in a minute. I was about to give up but I was so caught up. Finally, the book was good with drama, love and forgiveness. Unfortunately, by the end, the events weren’t matching chronologically. The story wound have been way better if it was from a narrator point of view instead of a multiple POV. Would recommend for the drama, but not for the writing.
This is absolutely one of the best good book series I've ever read some rd I wonder if some of the story line could really be real. Ceanna suffered a lot of heart ache but in the end she found happiness in a real man
This was a good side book to the series. We got more into the characters and finally "Rayshawn" got what he deserves! Can't wait for a follow up since Zaria is still out there somewhere.
This is my favorite book of all time. I love the story line of how a BBW was able to find true love. As well as how her man not only said he loved her but showed it. I couldn't put this book down it's a true page turner!
Sorry line kept you going however, misspellings, wrong word placement, and names mixed up made it hard to follow. A good proofreading and I would have given it 5 stars I love Avannte⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Ceanna and Avantae was definitely made to love one another. Jaceyon and his mama were getting on my nerves. I wouldn't mind Wykeith and Keisha's story. Great job I enjoyed it.
One word...Brilliant! I loooove the Author’s writing style! This story will have you hooked from page 1! You never know who to trust, so don’t make any quick judgements of the characters when deciding who is shadiest! A MUST READ! Jessica Wren does not disappoint! I can’t wait to take a journey through another work of hers! So many to choose from and many more to come! 5 is the highest I could rate it but I’d give it 20 stars!!!
What a beautiful story of love, pain, shame, trauma and the journey to heal. Thank you for this masterpiece. Honestly I believe they are my new favorite couple ♥️
This book was amazing.. There were a few errors here and there but not enough to take away from the story.. Avantae was definitely made to love Ceanna.. He was tha ultimate family man.. Many me aren't willing to love and take care of someone else's.child.. He loved those kids like they were his own and I truly loved that.. I also loved that Ceanna was able yo do the same.. There was sum crazy and extremely desperate ppl in this book.. A few times I wanted to jump in and sling Zaria around.. Ugh she got on ma nerves.. With this book I laughed, cried and probably experience every other emotion as well.. I loved tha savage side of Tae that he was tring to keep hidden.. He did any and everything necessary to protect his family.. At one point I said I would never read a spin off with Mia Simone but after reading this I actually welcome one.. There's more to her than meets the eye.. Can't wait to get a look into her life..I just loved this story so much.. Ms. Wren never stop writing.. I can't wait to see what's next..
I'm so glad Ceanna received her happy ending with Tae. jaceyon really got in my nerves. He definitely got what he deserved. I really don't know if I would have forgiven Mia Symone she hit below the belt.
