Penulis menggunakan bahasa Inggeris yang mudah.. Jadi seronok nak baca.. Awalnya rasa macam tersalah pilih buku tapi bila dah start baca, eh seronok rupanya.. Penulis membawakan 26 cerita berdasarkan 26 abjad.. Setiap cerita pendek sahaja namun memberikan pengajaran kepada kita dan kehidupan seharian.. Memang bestlah..

Summary from the book:
Imaginary Friends is a collection of modern fables for adults, unlikely morality tales that are humorous and great fun to read!

In this crazy world, you'll meet characters such as Annie the Ambitious Apple, Elly the Egotistical Eraser, and Herman the Hopeless Hippo - all captured through quirky illustrations.

While they may not exist in real life, these imaginary friends are all too relatable and you will be chuckling along as you recognise your friends, family members and colleagues in them.

My take:
I'm one who hardly picks up SingLit, especially adult category, but this caught my eye. The title on the spine of the book looked plain and simple, just stated Imaginary Friends but the illustration hooked me into borrowing it and including as my book recommendation for one of my meetings.

Loved that it goes through the alphabets with a moral of the story included at each story.
