Heir to Hell

Rate this book
Before there was a queen, there was a girl…

All her life, Noire had lived carefree in the Kingdom of Hell, unchallenged as its Crown Princess and undisputed Heiress to the Throne. Her father, the King of Hell, submitted to her every whim.

But not everything was as it seemed.

Beneath the thin façade of peace, unrest was stirring in Hell. Ambitions that have lurked in the hearts of its nobles have started to claw its way out of their chests. The scales were tipping and they were not in favor of the young Princess.

Before there was a queen, there was a girl.

Before the smoke and shadows carved her in darkness, she once was light.

This book was awesome! The author truly had me believing that the Fae really did live among us. This was exciting, heartbreaking, captivating and the best was watching a romance begin and to follow it to the end.
The storyline touched on a mother-daughter relationship that was so close and yet fear tore it apart. Kidnapping and torture, it reminded me of some of the stories in the news and how this has happened over and over again to young girls. Exiled from your country or land, for falling in love to someone of a different race. This book covered a lot that goes on in today’s world.
Then of course the hero, he didn’t come riding in on a white horse, but he found her and stayed with her until she became herself again. Book or real life, that is a true hero.
I really enjoyed this book and highly recommend it.

A quick story to introduce the reader to the Kingdom of Hell. Noire, as the King's daughter, has not been denied anything in her short life. However, she has an evil stepmother and stepsister who have other things in mind for her. When Noire is sent to Caravon Academy by her father, is it as punishment for things she has done? Or, is it to protect her from people who wish to do her harm?

The author does a good job in her descriptions and the idea is intriguing. However, I am curious to see if the series brings out what happens to Princess Noire in the seven year gap in this story.

I look forward to seeing how this series progresses because this short story just hints at what should be an awesome read.

This short yet extremely interesting book by Tayla Lewis was very different then what I have read before but it has a familiarity to the story line also. Princess of hell, Noire, is spoiled and difficult to handle yet to her father she could do no wrong. Her stepmom and step- sister try to get rid of Noire but their plan was not a definite fix. Now seven years later and the princess is returning home wiser and more mature than before. The story is only the prequel but it’s a good one and I look forward to finding out what happens next. Tayla is super talented and I would recommend reading this.

HOLY HECK! Give Me More

This short story is a prequel to a yet to be released series. If this is a taste of what's coming, sign me the freak up!!! Wheres the line? Who do I have to make out with to get the series. I know I'm telling you nothing about the book but too bad. It's short. Take a chance and then come be gobsmacked with me.

Great prequel. Definitely got me interested and curious about the story. It’s full of promise and deceit. The princess is now coming home but who still remains is a mystery and who remained loyal to the court is a bigger question. I’m intrigued.

Another great book from an up and coming author! A coming of age story about the heir to hell and all the problems that come with being a princess when it seems everyone has their own agendas.
