A short novella featuring the main character from the 'The Girl in the Moon'. Not bad but you need to have read the main book first to be familiar with the character and her background and special abilities.

Another Angela Constantie Novel. Terry Goodkind never disapoints. I truly love his writing style. A short but good good story! Nothing new, but it's a good, fast paced thriller.

Crazy Wanda had no thought to consequence just action. Angela is more on the periphery in this story but man it’s another good short listen. Poor Burdolf, losing his mate in such a senseless manner!!!! Wands and Alfred were just plain evil

This short read really drew me in. I was fascinated by the trip inside Crazy Wanda's mind. This author is particularly good at bringing madness to life in believable ways, and that was certainly the case here.

I was happy to see a certain character from Trouble's Child make an appearance.

And I got a big kick out of seeing a reference to Samuel, a character from The Sword of Truth series, even if not by name.

I didn’t love this book. First, I wasn’t expecting thriller from this author even though the description said as much. That’s on me. However, I felt the writing was very repetitive and the characters were cliche. It was also a bit over the to with gore... like did she need to stab him in the neck from the side then pull it out and do it again from the front. I feel like you’ve established crazy already....

This is a great story! It's a brisk, short read that's packed with action. The introduction in thrilling and deadly at the same time. We are one again with Angel Constantine. She is a wounded soul who is tired of the evil world around her and she is fighting back. I do love novella's they are bit sized, fun reads, palette cleansers. This is actually a great story and a good read. I wish we could have had more like this. For this story and this novella, Thank you Terry.

In this one, all Angela wanted to do was just take a hike through the woods, it was her day off.

Rather, she finds a dead body and a wolf-dog. So, of course she does the right thing and calls the sheriff. And to no surprise, she has to deal with all the prejudices that are related to her living arrangements as a child. Sadly the sheriff tries and only manages to shoot at the wolf-dog. Angela somehow manages to find the wolf-dog later on and even somehow manages to get it treatment. However, before she can manage that, she does end up meeting a blind preacher and his mute sister who just happen to be on the road leaving the dead woman.

It takes the vet a few days to get the wolf-dog back up and on it's feet and while the vet is taking care of the wolf-dog Angela see's the brother and sister again at her bar, but they leave before she is done for the night. When Angela leaves for the night, she sees the duo return. She tries to prevent the Reverend from giving his speech telling him she isn't interested in hearing it, but is surprised when she learns that that's not what they are there for.

She can't believe that she didn't realize that they are actually serial killers. Dear sister left the bag of tools, so Rev. leaves his sister and Angela in the woods so his sister can torture Angela on her own. Now, here is where Angela's rage takes over her pain. She kicks the sister. The sister lands on a spiked upstanding limb and it impales her. Even though Angela is naked and it's winter and yes, she was drugged, she manages to make it to the road where she finds the crushed phone belonging to the Rev. Even though the #9 was out she still managed to call the sheriff and forced him to listen to her.

While Angela is waiting for the sheriff, the Rev. returns. It is while he is attacking Angela that the wolf-dog arrives and starts to help her. Angela manages to pick up the a knife that the Rev. dropped and saves herself by stabbing him.....

How does it end, what is with the sheriff? Well you need to read this novella to learn the rest. I don't want to spoil this entire novella for you. It is worth reading though. It is a nice quick read and that is the nice part of it.

Crazy Wanda is a story by the author of the Wizard's First Rule series, and I'll freely admit, it never occurred to me to look to see what else he'd written other than the Sword of Truth books. It figures I'd run across the last book in the series first, (isn't that just the way things go?), but for what it's worth, I liked this one, and intend to read others in this series. It's an odd story, but it works well, and I think it'd be interesting to see what other characters are in this other series he created.

Angela’s coworker, Wanda, is under the impression that her lover is going to leave his wife for her. When word gets around to the wife, Wanda thinks it’s Angela’s fault.

Solid short novella. For some reason, Angela’s character reminds me of a modern day, morally gray Xena - at least that’s the image I kept painting in my mind.

Solid 4 as a stand-alone. It was only after finishing this that I realized that the character in this story is from one of Goodkind’s other books. Now I have to read that one!

I found CrAzY Wanda, Extremely Hard to put down and stop reading.

Terry Goodkind has a way of telling you a story that YOU feel like you are right there on the sidelines listening while the events are actually taking place. Every time I start reading one of his books I usually finish IT in a couple of Days.(2,1/2, Day's this time) Because it's JUST that Dang Good!!. Now I have to wait for another book..

I keep reading Goodkind in the hopes he will capture the magic of the early Sword of Truth Novels before he started preaching the Gospel of Ayn Rand. Sadly this was a major disappointment very predictable and smarmy. Maybe I am just a prude but I get kind of uncomfortable reading Goodkind's description of Angela and her legs, it is the same uncomfortable feeling I get when a guy stares at a underage girl.

I like this character, Angela.

This third and final Angela Constantine story is the weakest of the three, but I do like the character. Her supernatural “gift” is intriguing, as well as the ways she carries out her mission to get the bad guys. Still, the violence in all three books is over-the-top bloody and described in detail, which was somewhat off-putting.
A side note that a fourth book, Nest, has some plot overlaps and a main shared character.

I love this short novella. It really drew me into the crazy mind of Wanda as I got a glimpse of Angela Constantine through her eyes. I read the previous books in this series. So I had an idea what would happen, but I was in suspense waiting to see exactly how it played out. Once I begsn reading, I couldn't stop until I reached the end. I am amazed at how much story is packed into so few pages. I highly recommend this book and the whole series.

Crazy Wanda...EH

The story line is OK at best, not one of Terry Goodkind's usual beautifully written pieces. This seems to have been written by and for an 8th grader with its constant repetitive reminders. I love the Angela Constantine character, but she makes only cameo appearances in this one. Compared to past stories, it bombed.

Crazy Wanda

Crazy Wanda really is crazy. And she is the star of this book. Angela plays a peripheral role, and the story is pretty good. But the book is short, so you don’t really get a sense of the characters, like you normally would in a Goodkind book. But it’s well worth the price of admission.

I love this new series from Terry Goodkind . This is technically the 2nd one, and its a refreshing difference to the Sword of Truth series.
These are Novellas though, so they are a LOT shorter than the novels of the Sword of Truth. Can't wait to read the next one!

Disappointed, I haven’t read anything from GoodKind for many years and probably shouldn’t have started with this one. I see the big ratings coming from fans that follow Angela and her abilities to see killers but this just fell flat. I couldn’t understand Wanda’s draw to Angela and more importantly her morphing into a serial killer over night. Very unrealistic!

Very good, but too short.

The only reason I'm giving this book 4 stars and not 5, is because I wish it was longer. Otherwise it is a really good book. Terry Goodkind never disappoints.

Not the best thing he's written, but I've received sooooo many wonderful hours of entertainment from the Richard and Kalen series that I can't complain. Incredible imagination with tremendous writing skill. The man knows how to tell a story!

I am disappointed in this series. Goodkind is such a good author, but he has really missed the mark here. The books in this series just keep getting worse and worse. I’m reading the next novella in the series in hopes it gets better.

Crazy Wanda is a good short story and an interesting one as well.

The story works around two women and the tragic events that follow them.

Wanda really was crazy, but Angela has a lot more story in her.

Gripping

Angela is a dark angel that I hope to never cross. With the power to see all the evil killers do with single glance in their eyes, she will make them pay.

I loved this short but thrilling novella

Although it is a short story I really liked this one. Read the whole series and this was my favorite. I liked that it switched characters and you can try understand the flawed reasoning behind actions undertaken by the central character. Hope there are more to come.

Another great book

Is there ever a not so great book by Terry Goodkind? No they are all amazing and this one is to. Angela Constantine is back, but now we get to see the story from the killers point of view. I was not disappointed.

Entertaining and satisfying. Not quite as good as A Girl In The Moon or Trouble's Child, but still enjoyable. I hope Terry writes another full novel with Angela in it! Would also be good if she worked with Jack again and in some other part of the world more officially with her talents.

Another hit

I really enjoyed this one. I liked how Mr. Goodkind switched perspectives and gave us a view through the killer’s thoughts and eyes. Well done, sir. Well done. I look forward to reading more of Angela Constantine e’s adventures.

Quick read, however the writing felt simplistic & amateurish. I read a bunch of reviews that praised Terry Goodkind’s writing, however it was not evident in this novella. Not sure I will read another.
