Kidnapped off the street and thrown into a dark cage, Austin feels like his world is ending. He hasn't the first clue why someone took him, until a stranger is tossed into the cage next to him. Frightened, Austin reaches out and is soothed by the man's deep voice. After Holton rescues him from the lab, Austin's life is never the same. They have to keep moving, staying one step ahead of those who hunt them, but what started out as a terrifying situation turns into hot nights with his dragon warrior. When Holton is recaptured and returned to the lab, he curses Alric for being led astray. If his leader hadn't fallen for Tristan, Holton wouldn't be in this situation. But a small voice in the dark sends his heart skyrocketing, and Holton will risk everything to free Austin, unaware just how much the man will change his life.

Lynn Hagen loves writing about the somewhat flawed, but lovable. She also loves a hero who can see past all the rough edges to find the shining diamond of a beautiful heart.
You can find her on any given day curled up with her laptop and a cup of hot java, letting the next set of characters tell their story.
After the events at the end of the last book the men find themselves back at the beginning but not in any better position. Working to move forwards again, but now with more concerns, this book has them trying to plan their move to get out from the rock they are under.
Much as the first there is insta-love and mating and inappropriate times to be thinking of sex. But there is also sweet pairings learning more about how they fit, good action as they figure out where to run to, and a bit of intrigue in who can be trusted. There is still no resolution, though this book does not end on a cliffhanger. Gotta read in to the third to see how it all ends.
It seems that 90%of authors now are more about publishing fast and alot then taking the time to get something good out. This book definitely falls in that group. Still it does have a number of unique elements to recommend it... maybe not for 4.50$ though.
Story is fast paced and fun. A little repetitive with the whole running around the country to hide but still good. Started and finished this book in about 4 hours. Can't wait to learn about Micah's mate; he HAS to be in book 3.
I love reading paranormal stories, even though they were created in a lab, I'm still interested in them. This was another great and eventful addition to the series, and I can't wait to read the next book.
Wow, first there was, Joe Hephner (in another series), and now there's a whole new level of crazy, evil, scientists. Holton and Austin were cute together and even though they were continuously on the run, they were able to grab, and, hold onto a few precious moments together. The story is intriguing, especially with so much betrayal in the mix. The story held me captivated and the main characters are quite awesome (especially those dragon tattoos on them).
