Trusting her instincts has kept Mercy Belle alive. Her job as the head of Blue Belles Investigations has taught her to trust no one and nothing, except her own feelings. So, what will she do now that her feelings can’t be trusted?
This current case has Mercy baffled. Her mind is screaming that something is wrong. She knows she should be running, but something about Archer Cross keeps pulling her back. Her reactions to Cross are bouncing between distrust and burning desire, making her indecisive. Her mind has every reason to distrust him, but her heart won’t let go.
Archer’s life as a news man has brought him plenty of the wrong kind of attention. He knows that he is smitten by the feisty red-headed investigator, but she’s running hot and cold. And Archer likes it hot.
Trouble is on the horizon. Can Mercy solve the case before it’s too late?
Tee Smith lives in a small town in country Western Australia. Her four children are all grown and she recently became a proud grandma. Her novels are primarily romantic suspense. She reads almost everything, but loves nothing more than a good psycho-thriller.
Mercy by Tee Smith is Book 3 in the Blue Belles Investigations series. Yay, we finally get a book on miss Blue Belles herself, owner of Blue Belles Investigations, Mercy. And it did not disappoint. Mercy is tasked with a unique investigation that may leave her irreparably damaged as she struggles to uncover the truth. There was so much to like in this book. It’s a very short read but has a depth to the story that is great and interesting. It sucks you in and keeps you guessing the whole time.
Mercy owns Blue belle investigations and she’s on a case that is leaving her very confused. In the end she starts to fall for the man she is investigating because she is finding no evidence of his infidelity. The story ends with a great twist and of course a HEA. The book is a quick read that I enjoyed very much. It’s also a clean read like all the other books in this series.
I enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed the first in the series. This book has great characters, a solid mystery and some seriously suspenseful events. It's a quick read, and a fun one.
