- 1 star. DNF. Featured the type of "humor" that gets on my nerves, yet every other book friend enjoys so it might still work for you.
-I DNF'd book one due to another humor issue, but didn't rate. I totally skipped book 2.
- Read previously awhile ago, didn't remember enough to rate or comment on.
- 2 stars. This probably works more for someone less into heteronormative gender roles than myself. I don't want a man doing my makeup as my actual man. Also features amnesia as a plot point which book-buddies know is my #1 book peeve. I was able to finish despite all that, so that speaks to something positive in regards to the storytelling itself.
- 3 stars. This was cute story featuring an older hero.
- 3 stars. I love Skye Warren in general. This is one I'd recommend for those put off by her darker books. This is much lighter than her normal fare.
- 3 stars. First book in a previously read, great series that gets better the farther you go.
- DNF, no rating. I'm not a fan of military widow storylines.
-Another DNF. The heroines mother was dying of cervical cancer, and I just lost my mother to cancer.
