I was born an ordinary girl with a tiny seed of sickness.
As I got older it grew bigger, manifesting into something sinister.

Mama told me to lock it away and let it wither.

I didn’t know how.
So I hid it.

Solitude became my closest companion.

Solo, single, lonely.

Until Declan.
Until Ethan.

They were drawn to my sickness like moths to a flame.

With them, I was nurtured into something special.

With them, I flourished in depths of decay and darkness.

This was a phenomenal read: Miss Bennett has absolutely smashed this story: there's nobody who can do dark and depraved quite like this author and I think Depravity for me was her most graphic that I have read to date.
First, this can definitely be read as a standalone: but you're probably gonna be like me and want to backtrack as soon as your finished here: to check out the rest of this purely psychotic family who makes the Manson's themselves seem like normal everyday folk.
This is one of them stories you just need to dive right into the decadence and fully immerse yourself in its highly hedonistic flavour of self-indulgent torturous pleasure: where anything goes and the sickness of mind and body is indulged to the point of an almost broken morality.
And got to admit I Bloody hands down Loved it: so refreshing to experience such an unapologetic attitude to all things wrong and wretched: where nobody is eventually redeemed and its individuals revel whole-heartedly in their dissolute degeneracy almost like a newly found religion of sorts.
Depravity itself is the tale of Helena, Declan and Ethan: it's an unconventional love story which contains both M/M and M/F/M, in fact, anything goes with these three end-gamers.
Helena herself is a blank canvas when she comes to the boy's attention: an empty vessel with a penchant for fixing things (after she's broken them first of course).
She doesn't feel emotion like normal people and has been told her whole isolated life that she is sick: shes also comes across as slightly strange and for definite a touch cray- cray.

original.gif

Declan and Ethan recognise the seed of immorality growing inside Helena and from day one they are enthralled by her slightly unhinged wrongness: they see within her: the missing piece of there puzzle and as such take steps to procure there baby-girl ready and willing to nurture her nature to its full brilliant imperfection.
Declan and Ethan Accept Helena fully for the first time in her life: revelling in all that she has been told by her mother would actually repel.
In there loving hands she starts to emerge from her protective cocoon truly finding her place in what is to her a strange and confusing minefield of new emotions.

tumblr_na5bu0KQUJ1tt1l8ao1_500.gif

So this is hot, dirty and decadent. Graphic, Gory and glorious.
This is unhinged Immorality at its finest and if that is not your bag then best to give this a wide berth as this doesn't pull its punches in the slightest: some of the scenes here: well let's just say they are not for the squeamish and take a strong stomach if you know what I mean.
So yeh this was a big hit for me: my favourite of this authors work since I read Savages.
Highly recommend this one if you're into super dark and different.
Just, please be aware what you are embarking on as this is super graphic in nature.
I voluntary reviewed an Arc of Depravity.
All opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

description Now THIS is the Natalie Bennett I know and love. This book was so deliciously f-cked-up. I loved revisiting the Andreou family (Julian, Mason, Katie). They remain, my favorite family of psychopaths, this author has written to date. This one was a bit longer than recent releases and I was glad to see that because this one had a much more developed storyline. It was told in a dual POV format (Helena and Declan). It was very well paced as well.

description

Of course, this wouldn't be a Miz Bennett book with a totally deviant plot. It was twisted. It was dark. It was gory. It was bloody. It had torture. It had murder. It has three completely deranged main characters. The sex scenes were smokin' hot (M/M, M/F/M, M/F). Last, it was all wrapped up in a happy for now ending. It is hinted at that there is going to be more story coming for this trio (and hopefully the entire Andreou family, and yours truly CANNOT wait! description

Well, if you like dark (pitch black actually), you will definitely appreciate this book. So, I suggest read it without any spoilers.

I just want to highlight author's warnings:
There will be scenes of ménage (mm/mmf/mfm/), and explicitly gruesome, often detailed scenes of horror/torture. That aside, Depravity is far from contemporary or conventional.
Buuut, this is a love story, just a bloody one that lacks all sense of morality tied up with a HEA.

I think the above description is just perfect.

It's like a trainwreck. You can't look away. If you love depraved (hey, that's the title) and torture porn stuffs, oh how this book got a hell lot of them.

On one side, you'll wonder 'why the hell would I want to read something like this?'. My answer for you, is that dark gory books like these are the perfect thing for you to read if you're in a slump and if you're sad. Trust me, it'll work wonders.

Anyhow, back to the book, it's fucking delightfully gory! You have one stoic psychopath heroine and two delicious snuff film makers. She thought she was 'sick' and those men taught her that being 'sick' is not bad and have the sickest fun with it.

If this is right up your alley, go ahead and try it. It's still a romance book. 😉

I can fix you

4.5⭐

I went deeeepp diving into Nat's books i was wondering if i missed a book in this series and it's alittle dark but not to dark. Still warning this is a twisted fucked up book..

Twisted fucked up people who go to this place.. its like the movie Hostel if you seen it but add some more twisted fucks and romance lol the Andreou family rules all..

Helena is different from all the other woman in this series, she's innocent but deadly atleast she doesn't think she's deadly she likes to "fix" things and by fix it mean's if your broken she'll stitch you up and stuff you up. thats her sickness.. and thanks to her mother she has been lonley and in her own bubble. until her father comes and takes her away when she does something bad. New town and her fathers new family she is alot to take in and she meets two men who see somehing in her

Enter Declan and Ethan these two are together and they feel they need a 3rd in their little group meeting Helena and they both want her she completes them. Teachering her their ways showing her how sick and twisted they just like her.. her sickness wasn't a sickness to them.... Making sure no one fks with their girl.. even if she can hold her own against assholes..

My only problem i had with this book was the OP sex.. i don't wanna see Delcan and Ethan fking other gals or guys but /eachother/Helena..

OP sex, Drama, Secondary chara, sexy times, virgin gal and sorta manwhores

4 stars!

This story was definitely original, and really, unlike anything I have read before.

I do believe in soulmates, but I do not believe we are born tethered to another person. Instead, I believe we grow into being tied to them through experiences, challenges, and, of course, the choices we make. People fall in and out of love all the time, but a soulmate changes with you, even if it isn't right away. Do I believe the three MCs in this book were destined to be together? I mean... I want to say no, because no righteous being would ever design for these three shit shows to join forces. But a part of me says yes, because Ethan and Declan found Helena at exactly the time she needed them. She did need someone to look out for her, and I don't think that she ever had a chance of being "normal." So while yes, there probably were healthier outlets for her... compulsions, I did like how they loved her (and each other) for who they were, because I don’t think you truly love someone if you want them to pretend to be someone they just aren’t. I’m not sure what else to say about this one, so without further ado...

What this book does right

-Originality
-Vivid imagery, even if it is disturbing
-Interesting characters who stay true to themselves
-It's a quick, suspenseful read
-The twists are fairly surprising

What this book does that might not be very popular (I didn't word it as "what this book does wrong" because I don't think it is wrong. It's just, well, different).

-All three main characters are beyond redemption. They're gloriously depraved. Admittedly, Helena isn't all that bad, at least until Declan and Ethan get their hands on her.
-They all do disturbing things to random, likely undeserving people. This part wasn't bad, but when they tried to judge other characters for their actions, well, it kind of... missed the mark.
-it all wrapped up a little too quickly
-there isn’t really a single protagonist, as in a person you want to cheer along

***If you’re into dark reads and not particularly squeamish, this is a good read that definitely doesn’t follow a commonly used formula. The originality is what made me like it- I feel like the author has to be pretty ballsy, and I respect her for that. But I feel that way because I know it won’t be the kind of book that many people enjoy, so proceed with caution***

A big shout out to the author for giving us dark lovers an epic story of darkness. It sucked me right in and even just typing that has me wondering how can I possibly love a story like this.

I’m not gonna go into the storyline. If you love dark reads then just read this. You won’t regret it....or will you lol I lost track of how many wtf moments I had or wondered about my own sanity as I loved this story.

I seriously am in awe of this author. After finishing a book of hers I can’t help but sit in shock at the storyline she has brought to our lives.
This has just jumped way high into my favourite reads of this year. All I wanna do is go in for a re read and I rarely re read. So so good.

Thanks to the author providing ARC in exchange of honest review.
Whenever I hear there is a book by Natalie Bennett, there are three things I think. One, I wonder what topic will this story be?
Two, how dark does she goes this time?
Three, I pray for fewer grammar mistakes.
This is the things I can relate to Natalie Bennett, her stories I've always love to read bu there are like tons of mistakes inside. This time...let's call it an improvement.
The story itself is dark enough. A little girl who never knew how the world really works. She is sick that's what her mother said. A seed of sickness that keeps on growing.
Declan and Ethan are the other two characters who consider as sick too, not normal. Somehow there's an attraction between them and Helena.
I don't know how to explain the feeling I have for this book. It's Natalie Bennett, it's won't be that bad, right? Yes, I agree. I won't say it's bad but there were parts I found too long and dull. The story itself is interesting and dark enough, it's really sick. I'm only giving 4.2 stars this time, some parts are too long and boring. But I like the idea of how sick the girl is and the three of them turns out.

I liked this book better than the "Obscene Duet". I loved the Heroine and I liked how the Heroes loved her. They protected her, nurtured her. They weren't holding her captive, so the Heroine could grow her wings and decide for herself what and how she wanted things done. They were almost sweet.

I didn't have any problem with the dark aspects of this book. It was gory and brutal. My issue with all that was that I don't know the "why". Why was this family into these things? How did it begin? And how come that all the men from different generations wanted to do the same thing?
Another issue was the death and killings of innocent women and men. There was no discrimination among the captives. People were captured because they wouldn't be missed. It didn't matter if they were "good" or "bad". There was no sense/deeper purpose behind it. And to think that no one would miss all these missing people, well that's a bit too optimistic for me.

All in all, good read. Enjoyed it. Super writing-style.

Dark, messed up, depraved, bloody, deadly and oh so captivating.

The more I read of this author the more I question my own sanity and not kidding she scares me little bit. This was another example of her seriously fucked up imagination and I loved every dirty minute of it. I did not know that the family was introduced in another book but now that I know I will be picking up Mason's book. You do not need to have read it to read this one, but if you are sick like me then you will want to read that one too.

This book is about three pretty broken people. A girl told her whole life she was sick and the two men who make that part of her okay. Helena likes to fix things, just her version of fixing is a little skewed. She also doesn't know how to be. She doesn't show emotion, she doesn't get the simple things and her messed up life was not helpful. Circumstances bring her to a new town with her Dad where she meets the Andreou family. Declan Andreou is a part of this family and with his partner Ethan, they have their own issues. But they are missing something and it seems like Helena might be that missing piece.

Told in alternating POVs this twisted story unfolds in all of its bloody glory. This book is not for the faint of heart. Quickly Bennett is become one of my favorite dark story tellers. Each story brings out a different form of depravity along with interesting and damaged characters. There is nothing off limits here at Chateau Daliah but it is also a place where Helena can be herself and allow her fixing skills to be embraced. Brace yourselves, it's going to be a gory yet erotic ride.

I have to say I love all things dark and twisted and this book really did fit the mold for that. It had a beautiful romance and the characters were perfect for each other but the author also added in twisted stuff that makes you wonder WTF. You see characters from the authors other books which is a huge bonus all in its self. There’s not a ton I can say about this book with out spoilers but I will say I really enjoyed it. If you like twists, gore, and just an all around messed up read then this book is for you. 4 stars #2OCCJD

***5 ‘Fix It’ Stars***

OMG!

This book made my dark heart and romantic soul all kinds of happy! It was all kinds of dark, deviant and depraved, but it was also sweet and romantic (I know you’re thinking “what the what??” But trust me, it’s true) and toss in a good dose of smexy...and I simply devoured this in no time flat and wanting more when the book ended.

What can I say about Helena, Declan and Ethan other than I absolutely adored them! They fascinated me on every level and I honestly liked them as the people they were. True, they have some interesting...proclivities that don’t necessarily mesh with the norms of society, but they have a strong sense of honor and loyalty to those they call their own. As for their journey to their HEA. It worked for me on every level. I loved their interactions and the smexy was HAWT. I mean this is my kind of ménage, hands down. But what I loved the most was how Ethan and Declan brought Helena into the fold and showed her how special she was to them. No games, no tricks. Just simple and pure honesty that she was theirs and they’d always have her back.

I know this review is vague (no surprise there) and doesn’t touch on the dark depraved side of the story, but that was intentional because I knew that if I started down that road, we’d be here forever. So, bottom line...triggers. SO. MANY. TRIGGERS. So reader beware.

This was my first read by the author and while I’m very happy I finally dove into one of her books, I’m also kicking my own arse for NOT doing it sooner because I absolutely loved it! The writing was engaging, the pacing well done and I thoroughly enjoyed the multiple 1st person POV’s. The supporting cast of characters were all so well written. I loved Mason and Katie, and will definitely be grabbing the the Obscene Duet. as soon as possible so I can dive back into this dark world!

Note: Depravity can be read as a standalone

Depravity (Love Depraved)
By: Natalie Bennett
4 Stars

This was my first Natalie Bennett book to read. What a book to pop my cherry with!!!

Let me start by saying this book isn’t for the weak, light hearted, typical reader. You must own a good reinforced pair of big girl panties to read this one. Its full of shock and awe of the darkest variety.
If that is not your cup of tea, please pass on this book!

Helena is a young girl who has been through so much in her life. The only way she knows to deal with what she is faced with during her ‘sickness’ is to try to fix people. When she fixes them, her ‘sickness’ goes away for the time being.

When Declan and Ethan find their missing link, it couldn’t have come soon enough. They are a complete circle now…the three of them.

They see the beautiful person behind the sickness. They are more than willing to bring her in to their home and help the seed grow. Enabling her to stitch and fill her sickness until she blossoms into a beautiful woman.

I will admit, this book would be a 5-star read if there were some serious editing done. It’s a book that reads like a train wreck. It’s messed up, yet you have to continue on to see how in the world it will pan out.

Now I’m off to the store to purchase a new sewing kit!!!

If just the word ‘trigger’ causes you to pause, this book will NOT be for you and I highly suggest you move along as are very much in the wrong place. I’d had this book set aside for awhile and just kept pushing it off for whatever reason. Had I known it was this absolutely sick and depraved I’d have given in long ago because… Holy shit this book was twisted as f*ck. It was absolutely disgusting, disturbing, so beyond wrong and unacceptable yet I hardcore loved every single bit of it 😈😈

The characters are sociopaths who find solace in one another. True love is all about finding someone who accepts you and all your faults, accepts every side of you and will love you unconditionally. The heroine Helena fits like a missing puzzle piece in the guys’ relationship. Hell her two men are immediately smitten with barely a look and once her cold dead eyes lock onto theirs it’s like the universe clicks into place. Together they can’t wait to welcome her into their world of death. Helena has been living in a secluded shack but will now be living with the big guns & the star of her very own show. (Inside joke 😂😂) Her duo have been looking for their missing piece and now that Helena is theirs they can help guide her along her path. They love killing and fucking and doing all the sickest shit you could probably never even try to possibly imagine. While Helena does seem a bit stunted intellectually, she hides a lot internally. She’s not dumb at all but I am glad she has the guys who have some sense of the real world to at least show her the ropes. It’s weird how in books like this I’m able to be a lot more accepting of even some of the things that bother me. The characters are legitimately psychotic so it gives them some sway in my book, pun intended because they are only fictional. Even crazy people deserve love-or well, as close as they can get to the emotion, I’m rooting for them every step of the way with my dark & tarnished soul 🔥❤️‍🔥🔥❤️‍🔥 The book ends on a HEA note but there is a companion followup novel FYI. Off to read it now 😈

Depravity by Natalie Bennett is a very sick and twisted tale of a young lady who likes to fix things. Her Mother wants her to fight her urges. Mother keeps her in the basement. She is mentally, emotionally and physically abused by mother and her boyfriend. When the boyfriend accidentally kills mother, Helena not only fixes the boyfriend but her mother. Now living with her father she meets Declan and Ethan. They are two sick individuals who have their eye on Helena. She will fit in with what they like to do. While reading this story i realized it was an off shoot of a family from previous books by the author.
However If you find yourself liking this story and if you haven't read books by this author I suggest you read Mercy, Bound, Released which is Uncle Julian's story than read Love Obscene and Love Corrupted which is Mason's story. This is one sick family and even sicker story. Reading this author and loving her stories sometimes makes me question my sanity. 5 sick and twisted stars for me.

"She was death disguised as a pretty doll. I'd never seen anything so lovely."

This Author has become one of my favorite WTF Authors with each book I read!! This one flew off the rails in uncharted territory and blew my perceptions way out of the water!! Decadently dark, massively hot, psychotically erotic, and just fabulously and savagely addictive like menace coursing through my veins!! Unlike anything I've read recently, it really took hold and invaded my whole world in one sitting, at times difficult to digest, but un-put-down-able just the same!!

"I was going to shove this depraved princess into our world headfirst, and love every single minute of the carnage we would create."

I loved these characters so hard, each cementing their place in the sadistic trio that were too endearing to not fall head over heels for!! The end left me speechless and I'm still reeling almost 24 hours later!! If you're not afraid to jump in, it's a must read, but absolutely heed the warnings!! I thank the Author for providing a copy to review!!

"Helena Gardener. Beautiful girl. Rotten to the core. But to me, she had a heart of gold, and my balls secured in the palm of her hand."

Insanely twisted!

Straight to the jugular, this one. Not one part of this book is sugar coated. It's born into dark and stays that way from start to finish. Of course unconventional, darkley entertaining, and insanely hot. This book definitely makes me question myself... I haven't read a book this disgustingly engrossing in a while. I couldn't stop reading this mess of pure depravity.

The attraction and affection, albeit twisted yet blistering. All consuming lust leaked from every crevice. I was darkly entranced. My sick side was jumping up and down while clapping her hands. I was left with a sick smile on my face! I loved the sickness!

I read Natalie Bennett's Roulette Series, I also really enjoyed that series. To be honest, that series and this one were in need of editing. I chalked up the last series as maybe a glitch, but after reading this one, I was disappointed in the lack thereof. Either way. I'm loving the author's twisted words and I will continue to read on. How can I not? #TwistedApproved

Holy shit, what was this and why did I love it so much?!

This book is so sick and twisted but it's the best parts of both. It's not derogatory or gross. It's amazing, but the word 'amazing' really doesn't cover what Depravity is.

I have yet to read the Obscene duet, but for sure, it is on my next TBR - and it will get read. Not reading the duet prior did not hurt me one bit. The only regret was not being introduced to this family sooner! I must 'fix it!'

Helena, Declan, and Ethan are an unconventional couple, but who needs conventional anyway? Depravity steps out of your comfort zone and thrusts you into a forbidden world and I am all about it! This book was so hard for me to put down. I craved every gritty, dirty moment of this trio and their family.

The mindfuck that is Depravity is seriously depraved, and you won't be sorry you read it. It is for the fucked up, twisted individuals who need content outside of the norm.

When I saw characters from previous books, I couldn't hep but think that the gang was all here. The cast of characters were utterly twisted. For some bloody reason that made me love them more. They weren't normal. They were unique. They were absolutely sick. Helena was an interesting main character. She had felt nothing but wanted to fix things on a given occasion. Her version of fix... Well... Let me just say she was very imaginative.

Declan and Ethan were lovers as well as partners but they were still looking for the missing piece. They could easily see Helena being their glue. She could be their missing piece. I'm not going to say what did or did not occur between these three... Let me just say this. Once a group of sick individuals come together, anything is fair game.

I love Natalie Bennett I will one click whatever book she writes even if It's just her re-telling the ABC's she has got away with words and stories. This book is hands down one of the best books of 2018. If you haven't read Natalie you truly never experienced an amazing story before and everyone needs to read this book. Helena is sick but not the dying kind or the kind that can be cured, but she is told repeatedly to hide her sickness and she does for a little while.  Declan and Ethan are looking for their missing piece and they find it in Helena. This book is so sick and twisted I loved every minute of it and I love Natalie Bennet she is so freaking Brillant!

I'm honestly not sure how to review this one. I'm going with 3.5 stars. I've enjoyed all the Natalie Bennett books I've read, but this one may have just pushed me a bit too far out of my comfort zone. It was a little too heavy on the graphic violence and gore, and a bit light on the romance. There were a couple scenes that had me seriously cringing. Having said that, I still had to finish the book to see how things ended for Helena. Next time she gives a warning for graphic violence/gore though, I will probably take it more seriously.

I really liked the concept and vibe of this, there's def questionable things and blood + g●re but I didn't connect with the characters that well. Maybe because there's another book, making this a duet or smth but idk if I'll read it 🤷‍♀️
