This is aimed at those who have not taken a life drawing class and are taking their first class. It teaches readers the etiquette of the life drawing classroom and introduces the basics of observing, measuring, and developing a drawing. A lot of other drawing books overload beginning artists with lots of techniques, but this one keeps it simple. For beginners, simple is best as it allows you to focus on the fundamentals rather than rushing into advanced techniques too soon.
