This volume is the is the first one that fully deviates entirely from the web novel and is all new content not just rewritten. Since the authors foray into writing you can see a lot of changes taking place from lots of technical details especially about crafting and combat to more of a focus on slice of life and what i guess i would call minor fan service. Instead of details about how his character did something it's more of Oh I just did this, then this, then this, and used this conveniently created thing I happened to prepare at some point even though i never said anything about it. With all of the stuff he is doing and supposedly creating there isn't enough time at all for it to make sense. There tends to be more focus on how the females around him look than in the events taking place around him which is a little sad since the web novel wasn't written entirely that way. The story itself is good and fits nicely into the created world and actually fills in some gaps that weren't fully flushed out in the web novel, I can see the author is working more towards an actual way to wrap the story up than he originally was. Overall it's an entertaining read but in my honest opinion it's a step down from his usual work.

Tiny, adorable, encyclopedic.

While sailing the Southern Seas, Satou has a run-in with a new girl who introduces herself as Rei. She enters a trance state when she sees something and starts describing it with amazing accuracy.

This time, Satou and friends must fight the Skeleton King. I thought a new demon would show up, but it didn’t happen.

Apparently, Rei is the Queen of a Floating Island that sank over 20000 years ago. Stuff happens, Satou wins against the Skeleton King, and we move on to more adventures.

This series of Isekai fantasy is ridiculous, fun and relaxing to read.

The main protagonist of the books is outrageously overpowered to the point that there are never any risks for the party of characters - allowing the slice of life shenanigans to take center stage to the book.

Cooking, eating and crafting are the order of the day with the odd distraction of having to save the world in between.

3.5 out of 5 stars.

But seriously. I love this one. We get to see more of what Satou can do, and the fruits of his crazy crafting labors. I think this is my favorite in the series so far.

I don't know if I can say enough about this series. I re-read all the previous books every time a new book is going to be released. this protagonist situation is a lot of fun and I don't think I can get enough.
