Whether it's bedding a genuine succubus, some female-knight role-playing, or an egg-laying kink, Stunk and his naughty gang go deep down the righteous path of carnal desire! Even Crim, the bashful angel and a novice when it comes to bumping uglies, undergoes a dirty transformation of their own...!
The boys (and Crim who is both a girl and a boy) are back for a new round of sexy reviews.
I just LOVE this series, though I do think it is hilarious that the manga is just ecchi and the anime porn. For real, it is such a difference between the two and I have to say I love it. While I do love the reviews as they are in the manga at times it just feels lacking when you don't see the action. Though yeah, since the anime is pretty much my first porn one (I have seen plenty of ecchi anime in all my years of watching) but they never went this far, it at times is a bit awkward to watch.
Back to the manga, in this one the guy review... let's see which ones were my favourite. Ah yes, the mushroom girls, my initial thought was that they would just be girls with caps on and be done, but dang this shop had all sorts of mushroom type girls. And I loved it. I loved that the old pervy granny knew instantly (well... almost) what our reviewers would like. Next up on my favourite was the Grand Mage Clone arc, yes arc as it spans a couple of chapters. I loved that this mage could clone herself and let people have fun with it, with rules of course. But still, 3 days with a sweet woman who could be anything you want? Sure. However, the ending to this arc and this volume.. I will talk about that later in the review.
Of course there are also other species and stuff being reviewed, including some role playing action.
I was totally agreeing with Meidri when she found out what the guys did at a golem shop. Yep, I would have done the same thing as Meidri. :P While I understand why the guys did it, maybe it wasn't the best idea.
I loved that Crim is growing up.. in the naughty ways. I had a big laugh when we find out that Crim, our little angel, is totally corrupted now and even goes to brothels on their own. Oh Crim! And they even have some plans of their own. Oh my! I just adore this as they were so pure and innocent in the beginning and look where they are now.
The one chapter I didn't like at all, and one I am fearing seeing in the anime, is the one with the egg laying. Eww. Totally not into that.
The ending has me worried, I am just happy with the story being as it is. Reviews, sexy times. But now it feels like we are getting an enemy and suddenly have more plot than all the boobs have already provided ;). Oh well, maybe it will work and I will love it, but I will look towards it with hesitation.
The art is still amazing and I just love the style. It fits perfectly with this ecchi manga.
All in all, I need more of this in my life. The anime is still airing so I get plenty of it, as for the manga I will have to wait until the next English-translated volume comes out. I would definitely recommend this manga (and anime) to everyone if you are looking for a funny and ecchi (or porn in the case of the anime) series.
I have to say, I really enjoyed this one, and so did my wife!
Now that the characters are established, the story ends up going a bit further with them. In fact, we start to see an over arching plot appear and even an antagonist, which I have to say was really refreshing. (the whole review thing was already running a bit stale in the first manga, so added those elements means there is a lot more they can do for the series)
I also loved how some of the jokes from the first book continues into the second one and even helps to build the characters and their personalities. You actually see them growing as people and starting to do things on their own or things that they wouldn't have tried in the first book.
As mentioned, the reviewing monster girl brothels does get a bit tedious, which is why I didn't give a full five star review, but with the added elements coming in I am really looking forward to see what comes later! The artwork also compliments the humour in the book, keeping it in a fantastical feel rather than super realism or your general anime 'look'. In some places the characters tend to actually look more realistic than they would in more realistically drawn manga. (like continual drug use or other elements)
I also liked how the monster girls depicted in this volume were all over the place from the first one. There were some legit surprises that kept me interested and I do hope to see some wilder and interesting monster girls as this series continues. I am also curious as to if our heroes will actually figure out what to do about the antagonist, or will they blunder through things with their usual enthusiasm.
So for those who like monster girls and a fair bit of humour, this is for you. If you are looking for actual eroticly drawn scenes, you won't really find them here. All of it is handled much like it was in the first one, with hints and the odd reference, but nothing direct on screen such as it is. Still, I love this series and look forward to more coming out as time goes on. Well worth the read.
So, the egg-laying chapter was both traumatizing yet immensely fascinating. I don't think I've ever felt those two emotions so close together, but hey there's a first time for everything.
I have to say, I loved both Dracula's and the myconid brothels. The myconid chapter was comedy gold with the hostess but also really interesting in terms of what species prefer which myconid girl. Dracula's brothel was great because I love horror and the girls were really fuckin' cute. Enough said.
Can I just say how much I love and appreciate the worldbuilding? Seriously, it's obvious the creators of this series went to a lot of trouble to explain each brothel, species, and action to make each brothel makes sense and interesting. Love it!
This volume was a lot of fun and I had a blast reading it! If you were on the fence with the first volume, definitely give this one a try before dropping the series. It's worth it!
So, there are certain issues I have with this manga, but honestly found most of it to be interesting.
I came into this as an impulse buy, assuming that it would be another monster girl hentai or something along those lines.
It's erotica, but neatly skirts the issues of depicting actual sexual congress while speaking freely about what people are seeking from a relationship, both sexually and non-sexually, when it comes to comfort and arousal and how the two play with and against each other. It neatly explores a lot of the things around sex, including some fairly lecherous characters that are somehow less annoying than I expected.
Really I think Crimvael really makes the manga for me. As the sort of 'normie' who gets exposed to a lot of the darker side of commonly indulging sexual pleasure, just a desire for something comforting as opposed to just mindless sex is a refreshing perspective in an erotica. And some people really do just want to have a nice date as opposed to just throwing all in on some kind of sexual escapade. There's just such a sense of conflict and power exchange in so many of these things that borders on maniacal it's actually nice to see someone who is looking for a good time for everyone involved. And even the lecherous characters have a few moments of genuine introspection about what they really desire which was kind of nice to see.
This manga does go some dark places but not very many of them are actually on screen. There's a lot of discussions or taking for granted stereotypes which seemed a little unhelpful, but there was also a lot that broke the mold.
All in all, I would dub this interesting if slightly flawed.
No… nieszczególnie. Choć to akurat na plus, że zdrowo do tego podeszli, przechodząc z tym do porządku dziennego, zamiast robić z tego aferę.
A friend of mine stumbled over the anime adaption and remembered that I had mentioned it a while back. So he asked me about my opinion and I checked my log. Said I had read the first volume a year ago. Let's see why I hadn't continued reading it afterwards: Short answer: Because it's not my cup of tea. It's a simple and raunchy manga series to relax (or maybe not exactly "relax" *wink wink*) with a hint of a bigger story after volume 2. And I think it's a fun little guilty pleasure kind of thing. Something in the realm of private talks between close friends. It just doesn't fill a particular niche of me, but it might do it for you. Probably does as it got an anime adaption 😅 So for me it's a 2/5 with a +1 for not being bad or anything, but just not my kind of manga.
The author definently stepped up thenir game on this one! The humor was great and the added aspects of other classic horror novels like Dracula and Frankenstein's monster hit home for me!
The research into the fungal kingdom got me on the end of my seat! Also the waitress egg laying was tantalizing!
