Dearest Stalker #3

Dearest Stalker: Part 3

Rate this book
What happens when a woman falls in love with her stalker?

I'm not the type of woman who actually inspires passion in any guy, much less one who makes it a habit to watch me because he's obsessed.
I'm a curvy, plain Jane. I like my chips, chocolate, and junk food, and it definitely shows.
I'm an educated geek who would rather have my nose in a computer instead of a fashion magazine.
But none of those things seem to matter to Stalker. He sees something in me that I don't see in myself, and I don't know why.
I'm terrified, yet I'm inexplicably intrigued.
I'm cautious by nature, but something makes me want to know who he is, and why he gives a sh*t about somebody like me.
I know falling for a man I've never seen in the light of day is dangerous.
Does he stalk me because he wants to own me, control me, and make me into the woman he thinks that I am?
Does he want to hurt me, or is he just a lost soul like me?
And why did it feel so good to touch him under the cover of darkness?
Is he my nightmare or my dearest stalker?
Getting to know him might be foolish, but for some reason, I just can't walk away...

Author's note: This is a red-hot, sexy, curvy girl serial romance with an obsessed, alpha male stalker. Read at your own risk. The stories will come out in quick succession so you won't have to wait long for the conclusion.

Omg!! Omg!!! Omg!!!!

Yes yes yes!!!! I freaking love this book!!! I feel like I connect with Katie on the self esteem aspect because I am a little big and I don’t think I look all that great but my husband loves my curves.

I freaking love how this author has released this book, even though it’s tough waiting, it is worth it each and every time we get a new part!! The writing improves with the longer she goes into each part.

I am so wrapped up in this book I shoved aside the book I was reading to dive right in because I just wanted a glimpse of who Katie stalker could be and I wasn’t disappointed.

I whole heartedly wasn’t expecting that and jumped up and down after I kept reading during a particular scene. AHHH!!!! I love this book!!! Y’all need to get every single part of this book because it is worth it!!!

Congrats Lane!!! Such an epic way to release a book!!

Holy Moly! This story! Suspense, romance, and heat come together for a rapid-fire story unlike any stalker book I've ever read. There is a certainly plenty of suspense, but this isn't your run of the mill, creepy stalker. In fact, this is the first time I've ever wanted the "victim" to spend time with her stalker. To explain that further, I'd have to give spoilers, and these books need to be read spoiler free. Yes, you definitely need to start with book one and read in order, and the whole thing is a must read. We do get some answers in this one, which turned out to be what I was hoping for - kind of. But we also get a whopper cliffy that had me scrambling for even one more page. Lane Parker is certainly one to watch and I'll be waiting impatiently for part four of this terrific story.

Loving this story. It just drags you in deeper and deeper. Wanting to know who Kate's stalker is. Wanting to know if her and Ian are going to be happy. Kate finally meets her other step brother Ian and they hit it off. But is he her stalker? Love this series. I do need the next one .I don't think I can wait until the next one comes out to see what happens. Suspense steamy amazing .

Another fabulous instalment of, Dearest Stalker. This story is ongoing, I know once I have read the last part I’ll be devastated it’s over, but by God do I really want part 4 like yesterday.

If you’ve been following this story, you’ll probably have your suspicions on who Mr, sexy stalker is. I know I have my theories, and well nothing has been completely confirmed yet. But if it’s not who I think it is then who else can it be? It’s intense for sure, I mean to have this kind of love and affection, but not knowing who from can be daunting, but at the same time this guy has looked after Kate her whole life so he can’t be a bad guy, right? It’s confusing to say the least.

Kate is finally living a life where she has a job that she loves, a home she is safe in and food on the table. The only thing missing is love. She longs to be held, and although she’s had her world rocked on a couple of occasions, she has never been able to look into her lover’s eyes.

Ian Blackwood has been on his own for so long it’s difficult for him to be around Kate. He doesn’t just want a working relationship with her, he wants HER!!

What will become of Ian and Kate?, will there even be a Ian and Kate?, who’s the real stalker?
O.M.G. I’m holding my breath for the final instalment.

I got this novel thinking it was in the Thriller genre. It is thrilling to say the least. The hook of introducing a stalker character whose identity is not revealed until much later in the series is very intriguing. That device alone made it worth the read for me. I go through about five or six novels a week and to me, the story is everything. All the other elements in a novel are necessary, of course. But in this short book, the story really drives it like a Porsche on a racetrack. It's fascinating.

I am not too fond of the come on kind of language that is used to get the attention of the female main character. I tend to feel that during the scenes where they are actually getting it on it could be a tantalizing element to the dialogue. Some would be turned off to the course implications that go with that kind of come on. All I can say is that is just my opinion. If there were deep feelings for the female, that guy might have been a little more romantic in the pure sense of the word instead of so coarse.

However, I find this novel to be enticing and have also read book 2 and 3 in the series. I think I will leave a final word until book 4 is available and I have had a chance to see how it ends.

OMG this third installment couldn't have come soon enough and as soon as I had it I couldn't put it down. Lane Parker has definitely become my new favorite and she is a master storyteller. The story goes straight to the point from book 2 and Kate still has so many questions as to who her stalker is, although she craves his memory she is also very wary of the fact he is hidden and adamant of showing his true self. At the same time in this book, we become to know the elusive "brother" Ian and the scars that have transformed him into the impenetrable man he is.
Even though the story ended up somewhat telling us something, I am still guessing who the stalker is, as they say, "Don't count your chickens until they hatch" and Lane still has one more book up her sleeve!. 5 STARS Jo&Isalovebooks Blog

Part 3 is the most exciting part so far and it left us with the best cliffhanger so far. I can't wait to see what the author has planned next for Katie and her man. I am not saying stalker because Ian is a big part of Katie's life in this book and almost all the time I was reading this part I was wondering if we were going to ditch the stalker and have Ian as a potential love interest for her.The situation in this book is crazy in some ways and we learn a lot about all the characters. I wish the author could release the next installment within a week of this one as she did with part 1 and 2. I don't want to wait 2 months to find out what happens next. The books are too short and they make me feel like I am on a diet with no sweets in it. If you have read part 1 and 2 you MUST read this. It will get you even more hooked.

Once again the author has given us an amazing continuation to our storyline. Katie now has two inner goals, get to know Ian, her oldest step-brother and determine who her Stalker is.

When Ian opened his front door to Katie at the end of part 2, little does he know she will soon make him her mission. Katie quickly determines that Ian is lonely and is determined to make friends with him. The trouble is Ian hates himself and the world around him. The only thing he is passionate about is his work. He knows Katie is sharp and makes her his assistant. As they work side by side they form a quiet friendship that quickly morphs into more. But that more could bring everything down around them. As Katie’s personal life takes life, the excitement and suspense continues to mount as she gets closer to knowing just who has been stalking her.

This is a fantastic storyline available to us in 4 parts and this reader is anxiously awaiting the conclusion to Katie and her Stalker’s story. 2 Thumbs Up

Part three of this series brings you what you are wanting...the answer. The only problem is, Katie. And I will leave it at that. This story is wonderfully written and will have you hooked from the first word in the first book right up to the end of this story, which will definitely leave you wanting more. But not only do we get the answer to who Stalker is, but we also get more information about the grumpy Ian, the man who owns the company that Katie wants to work for, and also the home of which the guest house she lives. Ben has told her about Ian, what happened to him, but Katie has never met the man and sets out to do just that. What she finds is an extremely handsome man with a few scars that have healed and don't mar the beauty of his face, and someone that his extremely rude, abrupt and intimidatingly gruff.

This is a great read and I hope you will find it one too. I highly recommend this read!!!

Cliffhangers ! I

I'm absolutely love all three parts. It edgy yet tender and sweet . The reveal of the stalker came as a BIG surprise to me . Reason being his actual character was introduced but not present in the first book . Its this angle was a exciting route for me . I kept trying to figure out , who is the stalker? In addition to admiring the clean yet mystical romance that slowly build better her and stalker.
It was wonderful and I can best give my opinion in calling Kate and her stalker (no spoilers giving out here) an Intriguing/suspenseful romance.
Part 4 come on 😏
Thank you Lane Parker / J.S Scott .

Katie finds a new job❣️

Yes! I guessed the identity of the stalker correctly and boy, it will be a good surprise, if you haven’t been able to figure it out!

Katie starts working for her stepbrother Ian on her dream project but as the time progressed, Katie finds herself drawn to him more and more. She tries to contact her stalker to discover his identity but to no avail and she helps Ian overcome some of his past demons😀

A great story and what a cliffhanger! I’m dying to read what happens next😍

As Katie works for Ian, the two of them grow closer. She is memorized by his talent and is so grateful for the chance to learn from him. She has been alone for so long she craves that connection. He actually starts to open up to her and I thought I was going to see a happy ending but this isn't the end, another book I hope will hold the answers but for now it's a big old cliffhanger. And Lane Parker has me wanting to toss my Kindle. I can't wait for the next book!

Wow

Katie finally finds out about Ian Blackwell, and it wasn't very good timing either. It was right after they had gotten romantic and she started putting two and two together. Now the cats out of the bag, now I wait for book four to come out. This is an awesome short story series, believe me you would love it 💖

REVIEW
Katie gets her wish, her dream job, and along with it comes the man she will work with... Ian Blackwood.
She still is thinking about her stalker, and why he won't just open up about who he is...
And now she is falling hard for Mr. Cranky Pants himself.
What is a woman to do?
Well, we won't know much til the next book haha...
I normally don't like cliffhangers but I have read many shorts that get published fairly close to each other so it's not too bad. And the story is well worth the five stars I am giving it.
Again I suggest you read the previous books before this one.

Enjoyed

I love the story. It keep my interest the entire time. I understand the need to have different parts, but I just wished it had been one book and completed their story. I would read stories by land and JS again. Please consider putting everything in one book. Love the story! Can't wait on the next part. So we'll told I'm pulling for them.

Hot and sexy

When the stalker wanted her, he went after her. Not in a negative way, but in an I adore you way. Katie never felt worthy before, but now she does. But the stalker kept his real self a mystery until now. Can they make this relationship work?

Just in case that whole part three didn't give the hint already; this is not a standalone, you can NOT read this before reading the previous two books. This picks up right where book two left off, and since this is really one huge book split into four (hopefully) sections, it would be like opening a book in the middle and reading from there.

Katie is now working with the grumpy Ian, but this is her dream job so she is willing to put up with his grump. Besides the more she gets to know Ian the more she understands why he is the way he is. Still trying to figure out the whole Stalker situation, Katie speaks to him through texts, and has somewhat gotten some headway there, but Katie is still keeping him at a distance and trying to focus on the here and now. Will she get her stalker to finally realize that she doesn't need him to help anymore? What is this sudden fascination that Katie is having for Ian and his broody self?

Really short and quick read, we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel so to speak. We actually get a bit from Stalker's POV giving us a glimpse into what he is thinking. I don't think the twist that we get was a surprise (at least not for me) but this is still very enjoyable. I just wish we were getting the whole thing, this slowly getting the whole story is a bit frustrating as I probably should have read the first two segments again before reading this one, just to refresh on everything. With some drama, and a really nice naughty bit, I give this 4 stars and am looking forward to the finale.
