Rate this book
Adénikẹ́ is a real life story based on the Power of Faith, Hope and Love against the odds of life’s circumstances. You’re about to read an Intriguing real life story of a young girl whose life’s trajectory completely changed overnight and is still evolving. It’s a story that will take you through her denial, strength, resilience, confusion, pain, tears, brokenness, surrender, and finally her freedom and liberty into true Life. If you ever doubt that you cannot possibly Pass through the trials and Tribulations of life no matter how harsh it may be, Adénikẹ́ will Inspire you to re-think that though. Through reading this book you’ll see her fight for her life, when all she had left in her was nothing but the Hope to fight, you'll see her find herself through a community of Love and most of all you'll see her come into her own. You’ll read about her determination and genuinely see through her experiences; you’ll almost be able to live and be present in this book as much as she was while going through the experiences stated in it. It is my hope that lives will be impacted through this read.

"My journey is different from yours, so you need to take baby steps. I've learnt to realise that on this journey, there is no pressure once you know where your strengths and weaknesses lie. Don't be in a hurry to prove a point or please society".

Adenike gives in-depth tons of advice as she tell readers about her (challenging) life (of an amputee). The language used is simple and conveys the appropriate emotions and lessons.

She does not just tell her story. She gives readers the advice to be gleaned from the story and leaves room for the reader to do same.

I love that the author was very open in telling her story. I did not know what to expect when I picked up the book but I'm glad I read it to the end.

The story is so good that I don't know how to describe it. It's the story of the author from her childhood to the new reality of facing cancer and having one of her legs amputated. Her writing is from the depth of her heart and will make you laugh (her childhood stories), think about life & family differently

Beautiful beautiful story. Such a brave young lady. So inspiring. I love how she highlighted God's love and how it's her anchor.

One thing I took from this conversational book is "Gratitude".

There is always something to be grateful for and God is always in a good mood.
