I was in lust the whole time I was reading. These men are too good to be believed. They are all sexy beyond words. My favorite was Protected by a SEAL by Cat Johnson. Rick an ex-SEAL was hired to protect a beautiful movie star from a stalker. Once they were alone in a safe place, things really got hot. You gotta read this romantic suspense box set.

Isabel is an archeologist working in Alaska. She is also trying to find out who killed her brother, even though everyone claims it was an accident. She is hiking and comes across a man laying in a pool of blood. She gets him back to a little cabin and bandages him up. Alex is owner of Raptor, a military training facility, ex Ranger, and running for Senate. He doesn’t remember what happened to him until he’s rescued and finds out Isabel is the one that had his facility shut down for two months. He has her arrested and then bails her out. When strange things start happening, together they start to investigate. Someone wants Alec out of the way and will stop nothing, even kidnap Isabel to get what they want. 
Action, suspense, and sex. This story will draw you in until the end of the story. I felt like I was right there with them.

Taylor is a forensic accountant for the DEA. She spent most of her childhood in foster care. She’s an introvert, OCD, and very smart. When Dillon, her foster brothers shows up unannounced, she’s scared she’ll lose her job. He has been seen with a drug cartel they have been investigating. Logan is part of the DEA but in a different capacity. He is part of the FAST team. He is attracted to Taylor and asks her out. When they find out someone is trying to kill her, they move her to a safe house while she works on bringing down the drug cartel. The more time Taylor spends with Logan, the more she opens up to him. When she’s taken, FAST BRAVO is closest and can they get to her before they dispose of her?
Plenty of action and suspense. I held my breath several times because it was so intense. Steamy. Opposites really do attract.

Grace is a scientist who has discovered a deadly virus. Her father is a senator and running for President. When she is almost accosted in the parking lot where she works, her father hires the best men to protect her.
Garrett was in the military now he works for HOT. He is assigned as Grace’s bodyguard. Garrett has a nine year old daughter and his ex tries to turn her against him. He has only one night stands and doesn’t have room for anyone but his daughter and his job. Sex is all they can have together.
When people start to break into Grace’s house, they go on the run. There is a leak somewhere because the bad guys keep showing up wherever they are hiding. He’ll do anything to keep her safe even getting captured in her place. They want to make a trade, Garrett for Grace. But the team has their own plans and an enemy is a fairly good guy.
Action packed, edge of your seat, a book you won’t be able to put down. The sex is swoon worthy and the characters make you feel like you’re right there with them.

Risa is a Psychology professor and interviews Ed Dryden, a serial killer. Trent is a FBI agent and Risa’s ex who caught and put Dryden in jail. When Risa finds out her sister is marrying the killer, she rushes to stop it but is too late. Then Dryden escapes and takes Nikki with him and starts killing people. Trent and Risa work together to hunt him down. His ultimate goal is to kill Risa, when he kidnaps her can Trent find her in time?
OMG! This story will have you on the very edge of your seat. So much action, second chance at love and suspense. First time reading this author and can’t figure out how I missed her. If I was a nail biter, I’d have no nails left.

Molly is a FBI agent sent on her first field assignment. She goes to the mountains of Montana looking for a terrorist trading camp. When her drone gets shot down and she is chased by a guy on a four wheeler, she jumps off and rolls off a cliff and lands behind some boulders. Kujo is former Delta Force and was hurt when a bomb exploded near him. He has a bad leg and TBI, so he has lived up in the mountains for three years. When some of his buddies show up and convince him to go work with them at a security company and rescue his service dog before he’s put to sleep. Now he’s getting ready to start a new job when he and Six find Molly pretty banged up. He takes her to his cabin and fixes her up and tries to keep his hands to himself. When it becomes obvious Molly is in danger, Kujo becomes her protector, along with Six. They both look into the training camp but when Molly gets taken, can Kujo get to her in time?
Steamy, action, and nail biting suspense. The ending just sort of ended, there was very little build up to it.

Sierra is an actress with a stalker. Her manager hires a bodyguard who was an ex Navy SEAL. Rick works for GAP a security firm and is a guard at a company. Sierra doesn’t really believe she’s in any danger and fights Rick the whole time. She’s snotty, sarcastic, and self centered. Poor Rick is still attracted to her even though she treats him like crap. When they believe they’ve got the stalker, Sierra goes back to her life without a look back until Rick is shot. 
Really never gives you much information on the stalker. Sexy and suspenseful but not a fan of Sierra. I’m sorry but Rick was just too good for her.

Sylvia is the medical examiner, a Senator’s daughter, and has a secret she has been keeping for years. She hires Buddy, a PI, to help her. They had an affair after a friends wedding several months ago. In this town everyone has secrets and someone is killing prominent people and Sylvia and the police must find him before anymore people die.
Good story. Sexy. Suspenseful. Secrets. I just didn’t care for all the point of views from so many different people. I think if you haven’t read the ones before this one, it’s a little confusing. ( Which I didn’t ).

Mark is a Navy SEAL in Italy getting ready to go on a cruise with his team buddies. He meets a beautiful woman and has a one night stand with her. He tries to find her the next day but she’s nowhere to be found. They board the cruise ship and when they watch some dancers, she’s one of them. Sophia works on the cruise line as an entertainer but is to be married when they reach Brazil. She can’t believe her American lover is on board. After she realizes she doesn’t want to get married, they start meeting in a rescue boat. When it’s discovered that a plan is in place to hold the ship hostage, the guys are in more trouble than they could imagine.
Smoking hot sex. SEALs, a dancer, and action. There was some grammar errors and saying “nekkid” and her “ cave “ was just wrong. Towards the end it went by real fast. But the story was good.

Lily is a software engineer who is currently working at a medical facility. When a co worker is found dead in their office, Lily is the one who found her. Matt is a vice detective and him and his partner is called to the scene due to them investigating drugs being sold on the street. When he sees Lily, he can’t believe it. Just a couple of nights ago he meet her at a bar and things got heavy in his truck until she ran from him. Matt had finally found a woman who paid no attention to the scar on his face. Lily is hiding her own scars and is afraid of being rejected. Now that Matt has found her, he has no plans of letting her get away from him again. But can he keep her out of danger from drug runners?
Excellent story. Suspense, action, and sex. May make you tear up a little. I thought the relationship went a little too fast but that’s just me. I was shocked at the end and I believe you will be too. A real page turner that will have you reading until late into the night.

ViVi is a single mother who’s son doesn’t talk. He was seeing a doctor in Minneapolis, they go to the mall when terrorists attack. She hides him in a cabinet while she goes look for a way out. Jed is a FBI agent on vacation to visit his family over the holidays. He is in the mall when the attack happens. Many are killed and injured he gets ViVi out but she is enraged because he won’t let her get her son Michael. Jed goes back in and brings him out.
When it’s learned that Michael might have heard something, seeing as most of the terrorists were in the toy store with him, they are taken to a safe house. But they find them there and kill a doctor and the two agents protecting them. Jed hides them in his vehicle and takes him to his cabin on his family’s land. When her ex shows up and takes them with him, Jed lets them go thinking they’ll be safer. He realizes he’s falling for her and hopes she’ll forgive him for his stupid mistakes.
Another great story by Ms. Anderson. Her COLD series is full of action, suspense and sex. A tiny bit confusing at first but gets explained.

It was all right.

Most of these authors I've read there books before and have enjoyed. The characters were strong and stubborn as always in these books. I think sometimes the sex scenes were over the top and you loss the suspense of the story being told.

COLD PURSUIT by Toni Anderson book 2 in Cold Justice Series. Gripping plot that has you caught from the first page. An innocence trip to the mall, turns out to be one of terror. Her 8 year old son, how to communicate, if he saw or heard anything, when he doesn't speak. A nightmare when they find out it maybe an inside person. Jeb, with the FBI has taken a liking to Vivi, a fiery redhead and her son, and sparks do fly. Readers will enjoy this plot, characters well defined, as though you know them.

How can two rookies, take down a crime syndicate family. Jessica has the lead in the case of Simon Hernandez. Working for the state attorney office, Going to her car she is threaten. FBI is called in and we meet Zach. Assigned to protect her. The evidence and suspense keeps building as does the romance. Uncovering evidence, how can Luke, a son now is a cop be innocence. When his sister Ana, seems to be ruthless. Suspense comes down to each family member has their own lawyer.. Will they turn on one another.
Great, enjoyable stories to enjoy or all.

Cold Pursuit by Toni Anderson
This time around the author chose a terrorist attack as the plot. Jed is an overworked agent on a forced vacation & just happens to be at the mall shopping when the attack occurs and ends up getting personally attached to single mom, Vivi & her special 8 year old son.

It's a very interesting tangled web of blackmail, deception, secrecy & even a shocking Gateway revelation of the true enemy. In the end this couple realizes they can handle it all with each other to lean on. This story wasn't quite as romantic as previous, (A Cold Dark Place) it's still a great read & it was also great to get an update on Alex & Mallory.

Review for Cruisin' For A SEAL:
After losing Sophie, Marc can't seem to find anyone that would satisfy him. So while he and the boys are on a friendly holiday in Italy preparing for a cruise, Marc runs into Sophia. Sophia doesn't speak English so Marc thinks but they have an amazing night of passion. With a slip of fate, they run into one another on the cruise, she's working and is very fluent in English. Not only that, she's engaged to another man and on her way to meet him for their wedding. But Sophia and Marc fall for one another but will Marc's chance at love bee ripped away from him again with a terrorist threat planning to take command of the cruise?

Full of some amazing stories!

No doubt that all these are five star reads. Every author is talented. But my favorite was by Maryann Jordan Loves Tempting.

Matt you be still my heart! Lily omg! What a little sweetheart! Put these two together and you get sparks. I love all of the characters and love the way everyone interacts. This story had some twists and turns that I didn't see happening and then BAM right in your face there's a plot twist!! Loved it. Highly recommended series!!

Feel the Heat

This was an amazing collection of romantic suspense full length novels with plenty of non stop action. I had expected them to be short stories and was pleasantly surprised that they were were not. Many of the stories dealt with events that were true to life with the terrorist threats that we must face in this day and age. It was great that our hero's and heroines got their happily ever after as well. I highly recommend this collection of stories from these amazing authors.

Every story is well written and the characters are so well developed that you just lose yourself from the first book to last. These stories have something for everyone and the suspense is nonstop and the heat is there in some more than others so go ahead and give this set a whirl.

This is a great way to experience some really good authors, interesting characters and varied settings. I read some authors that I will be going to investigate in greater depth. There was only one story that I had trouble gelling with, but 90% success is a very good result.
Try this if you like romantic suspense, or even if you think you’d like to give it a try.
