Well written romance story about a one night stand that turns out to be much more than just that. A nice storyline. Characters who develops nicely through the story. It is written in dual POV which gives the reader more of the thoughts and feelings of the main characters. I like the theme nanny/boss and this one did not disappoint me. It is mix of lust, love, attraction, secrets, drama, action, twists and turns. An emotional roller coaster that is worth the read.

This book was a delicious older man/younger woman - single dad/nanny romance.
Having recently escaped a dangerous long-term relationship, Riley is in absolutely no rush to jump into another romance. Instead she decides to sign up for a dating app and meets Brian who is also not looking for a commitment. Brian actually is the developer of the app and a self-made millionaire, but none of this is revealed in their 6 month app-courtship.
Riley and Brian agree to meet for one earth-shattering night and then they will both go their own ways. They did. It was. They reluctantly parted.
The chemistry and heat between these two is page melting and the author really builds up the intensity and tension when they are together, so when they unexpectedly meet again, their desire overrides their logic and quickly they are all over each other.
Brian hesitates to hire Riley because of their magnetic attraction, but decides to give it a chance since his daughter instantly adores Riley. He offers her the nann position as long as Brian and Riley agree to keep things strictly professional. Ha!
The story really heats up once Riley is hired. The relationship between Carly (Brian's daughter) and Riley is absolutely adorable and heartwarming and Brian and Riley attempting to stay away from each other ramps up the sexual tension until it combusts.
However, all is not perfect for this unlikely match. Their violent pasts collide and come to collect and are determined to destroy Brian and Riley's newfound happiness no matter what the price.
Will Brian and Riley be able to run from their pasts and escape its' clutch forever? When forced to choose between his daughter's safety and Riley's safety, how will Brian make that devastating decision? Is there any chance for a happy ending with a psychotic ex and an MC out for vengeance?

Bryan and Riley met on a dating app and came together for one night only that was the deal. A few months later when Riley showed up on Bryans doorstep for a job interview things got a little messy. Not only in their personal relationship but also both their dangerous pasts have come back to get them. Can they make this work or will they keep running to protect themselves and the ones they love?
I am new to this author. I was drawn in by the writing style and found the book easy to read. It is not a quick book. I was still unable to put it down. I personally found the book relatable on a personal level being a professional nanny and also riding in motorcycle clubs. Bryan and Riley met on a dating app that he designed and it was supposed to be for one night only. They both decided neither were ready for anything more because they both have dark pasts. When Riley's friend Bev talks her into interviewing for the nanny job that her brother has available, guess who the father turns out to be?? Yep, Bryan. The attraction these two have is off the charts and it started months ago via the app with texting only. Will Bryan hire her to watch his 6 year old girl? Will they be able to work together without feelings getting in the way? What will happen when their pasts come full force to the present and just happen to be the same people?? You'll have to read the book to find out. There were a few errors along the way but you can overlook those because it doesn't take away from the story itself. Enjoy.

Riley and Bryan have a past but when she comes to interview for the nanny position he knows he can't turn her away. Their one night together has stayed with him and he never really forgot her. Riley is worried that their past will cause complications if she works for him. Bryan loves his daughter and he wants the best for her and Riley is that person. Can they keep things professional? How long before old feelings tempt them into being together again?
This is a great story once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is scorching hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is Not Your Regular Recipe for a Nanny Story...
Boss, by author Reagan Shaw is a unique nanny genre storyline in that it is edgier than most...and that is a good thing. The main characters, a former gang member, Bryan, his six year old daughter, Carly, and Nanny Riley who was first, Bryan's secret online dating app match and one night hook up. Their chemistry is off the chart hot.
Riley has past that ties into Bryan's past. It all converges violently one night with no one out of danger. Definitely recommending this book for your reading pleasure and enjoyment. I am volunteering to leave a review of this advanced review book.

This is a really great story. Steamy and sensual. Riley and Bryan meet in the virtual world and then decide to take it for a one time spin in the real world. They are both recovering from horrible past relationships and are scared to try to get involved again. Fate has other plans for them. The author dives right into the story from the first page and sets a fast pace of action, and sensual delights. It never slows down and you just have to keep turning the pages. You are in for multiple surprises as the plot twists and turns. You will have fun laughs with young Carly and all her questions and wonderful imagination. This book is a feast for the senses with a very happy ending.

OMG! Reagan totally nailed this little jewel. Man, talk about exciting. A whirlwind of emotions and events that pull those heartstrings and brings it home. All the drama, fear, uncertainty, danger and suspense increases while tension spirals. Reagan weaves a world around you until nothing else exists. Her style and talents really pack a punch that leaves you feeling and wanting more. The characters and scenes are written with such realism it really brings this little gem roaring to life. Reagan did a remarkable job bringing this read together beautifully. Fantastic job Reagan, thanks for sharing this little guy with us.

Riley lives with her best friend who is the chef where she works. Turns out her bestie is also sister to the guy she spends her spare time texting on #dateme app as she hides out from her ex. Other coincidences will blow you away as Riley applies to Bryan for the nanny job he has open to care for his six year old daughter, Carly. Will Bryan be able to find Riley when a motor cycle gang kidnaps them and takes them off three hours into the Chihuahuan desert? Will the pregnant Riley be able to protect Carley in the meantime? Chilling read!

Bryan and Riley meet in an unconventional way, get a second chance a month later, and cannot resist the attraction. And they have much more in common than they ever thought. This was fast paced, well written, and had some interesting twists. This is the first book I've read by Reagan Shaw and won't be the last.

I really enjoyed reading this book. The plot was a little different. The storyline flowed smoothly throughout. I loved all of the characters. I felt they were well-developed and easily relatable. I loved the way these two met. Kind of reminded me of how my husband and I met. Overall, a good read!

A little bit of suspense. I like that the pregnancy didn't take over the whole story. I wish more has come out about maybe her family and more about her education goals, but I liked it and it was different.

Bryan and Riley have been flirting on a dating app for months when they finally meet. They both agree that what happens is to be a one time only thing, not to happen again and not for feelings to develop. So what happens when she shows up at his house to interview for the nanny position for his daughter?!
Of course you know what happens, but there are obstacles in the form of both their pasts that intersect in dangerous ways. Dangerous for Bryan. Dangerous for Riley. And dangerous for Bryan's daughter, the young girl who's fast coming to mean the world to Riley.
I haven't read anything by this author before, but I think after having read Boss, and loved it, I see a lot more of her stories in my future because Boss is a great story. Bryan and Riley are a fabulous couple with loads of chemistry. It's well-paced, entertaining and steamy enough to melt your Kindle.
