I really enjoyed this book! The writing style was captivating, and the way the story unfolded kept me interested. There would be little details, such as the way Trisaliens and Crones communicate, that became more clear the more you read, and it helped keep the story flowing rather than suffering from too much exposition.

My main "complaint" has to do with the ending, which is why I have marked my review as having spoilers. I'll keep it fairly general, but here they are: I was really looking forward to seeing the three Lenail escapees reunite, and to seeing what The Bloodless One and the Eleven were planning on that ship! I want more! I realize that this book was recently released, but I would love a sequel that furthers the story of the Duke and his insane plans.
