Sallie's dreams of owning a restaurant come true when she finds the perfect building for her Italian restaurant, Bella Lucia's. But the horrid secrets from the past remain hidden in the building. Stubborn stains won't come out of the floor, knives go missing, people that don't exist are seen, and terrifying voices are heard. Sallie can't shake the feeling of dread when she walks into the kitchen and office areas. Someone is watching her, but Sallie can't see him; she can only feel his icy presence. When events become so terrifying that Sallie fears she won't survive, she makes one last ditch effort for help. Can she save her restaurant, and herself, or will she fall victim to the secrets of Bella Lucia's horrific past?
Interesting story of a deranged killer. Killer was evil in life and in death. Disappointed in end of story. I wanted the evil ghost to disappear and the restaurant would become a success.
This was a decent ghost story but felt rushed, especially at the end. The main ghost was a sadistic serial killer in life and in death. Great concept, just think it could have been so much more of a story.
The fourth in the book collection of haunted houses...I am seeing a theme .each person wants to open a restaurant..except for the camp Lakewood series. This one wasn't bad. Although I did find myself wanting Sallie and Ben to beat the killer ghost in this one.

Another person opening a restaurant in a haunted location. It felt rushed but what can you expect from 53 pages. I saw other reviews for this one being especially gorey but I didn't get that at all really. 3 ⭐️overall... it had so much more potential if it wasn't a short story
