Defensive Daddy
“I’d hate to break it to you, sweetheart, but this, you and me, has definitely already begun.”
I’m Cooper Henley. I play defense for one of the top hockey teams in the NHL, and I’m the proud father of a four-month-old boy.
Well, that was me.
Until a shoulder injury took me out of this year’s hockey season, and my girlfriend moved out after refusing my marriage proposal.
Now I’m a single daddy with planned times to see my son, a bruised heart, and a wide open schedule for the winter.

Samantha can't believe how far her life has spun out of control. Her life was going great, so it seemed until her fiance confessed he was cheating. Now she lives in an apartment with her 3 year old trying to swallow down her bitterness and anger. Cooper's life didn't turn out the way he planned. Benched from a shoulder injury and his NHL hockey career on hold, he takes care of his 6 month old son after his ex walked a month after his birth. He meets Samantha and suddenly it all makes sense. Can he get her to take a chance on him?
Cass Kincaid knows how to write the sweetest yet at the same time alpha heroes. Cooper is an epic example of a book boyfriend. He is sex on a stick and loves kids. He is dreamy! Samantha has been knocked down but quickly comes to see how real Cooper is. I loved watching these two people get exactly what they deserve, a partner that will always put them first. I read this in one sitting, as I always do with Ms Kincaid's stories, not wanting to put it down. 5 stars for Defensive Daddy!

Cute novella
Steamy, cute novella. The h annoyed me in the beginning, but she definitely grew on me. I loved the chemistry between the h and H. I wish there was more of the H with his son, but I understand why the focus was on H and little Levi.

What beautiful read. Wanted more. Loved the interaction between Levi and Cooper. Always love reading about a hot and sexy man knowing how to love and care for his lady love.

Two people love had disappointed
Chance moves them next door. Two hearts damaged by the past finding repair in others arms . A hockey players who ticks all the boxes . A gentleman, who loves her son,and gives her what she needs. A sweet fast moving hot love story.

I did not want this book to end. Once again Cass Kincaid did not disappoint. I could not put this book down. Really looking forward to reading your next book.
