Unexpected Daddy

Rate this book
"We're both from different worlds, but I've got news for you. You're about to come crashing into mine, Megan. Get ready."

I found out I was a father in the most tragic way.
The ordeal left me bitter and unable to trust anyone. It also left me a single daddy with a botched hockey scholarship and an unfinished college degree.
Which left me no choice but to return to my small hometown and do what I do best—fix cars.
For ten months, the only thing I’ve cared about is my son.
Then Megan moved to town, harboring her own broken past…and the ability to break down every wall I’ve constructed around my heart.
The connection between us sizzles, leaving a scorching, primal desire boiling in my veins I thought I’d never experience again.
If becoming a single daddy was unexpected, then wanting Megan the way I do is about to turn my entire world on its axis.

I write steamy romance stories, create HEAs, and love every damn minute of it. I LOVE love, and I'm a hopeless romantic. Oh, and I have a thing for sexy, sarcastic fictional boyfriends, but don't we all?

Unexpected Daddy:
A Bad Boy Hockey Romance
by Cass Kincaid

A beautifully written story that will have you laughing, crying, screaming and jumping for joy. You won't be able to put it down until you finish it and then you will be wishing you could start all over again.

Craig Connelly thought he had it all a longtime girlfriend, a hockey scholarship with sites on the NHL then out of the blue she leaves him with no real explanation, and no way to reach her. She just disappeared from his life. Four months later he receives a call that changes his life forever.
Megan thought her life was on track fresh out of college she landed her dream journalism job in the big city. Everything was going well until six months into her job when they let her go. Not wanting to ask her parents for help and drowning in student loans her Aunt Nancy offers her to come stay with her in the small town of Cardon Springs. She even helped her find a job at the local paper the Cardon Springs Chronicle. Needing a new start in life and a change of scenery she decides to take a leap of faith and move.
The lives of Craig and Megan are fated to come together especially if Aunt Nancy has a say in the matter ! 😉♥️
I don't want to give away to much of the story because you need to experience it without any spoilers.

Heart wrenching story by Cass Kincaid

Craig Connelly is a hockey hotshot in college, enjoying the glamour of the sport and puck bunnies that are part of the excitement of the game, especially since his ex-girl friend has dumped him without giving a reason. His whole life changes when he learns that Ella, his ex has been in a car accident and he‘s summoned to the hospital. By the time he gets there, he learns she’s passed away but she’s left something there for him, his son. Craig moves back to CO to run his car repair shop and raise his son. Understandably he’s gun shy about women and relationships, but he can’t resist Meghan who has come to town to live with her Aunt Nancy. She has her own baggage to contend with with. As these two start a relationship they find that old scars aren’t quite healed, especially when Craig has to realize that Meghan isn’t Ella. This is a short, sweet romance filled with hot sexual chemistry, laughter, tears and heartache. I was entertained with this storyline, and look forward to more of Cass Kincaid’s entertaining books.

Craig had the rug pulled out from under him when he girlfriend ghosted him. His life was completely transformed when the call came about her car accident and his son had been born premature. So he moves home to be make sure his son is his only focus. Megan moves to Cardon Springs to live with her aunt after her life falls apart. She meets Craig when her car breaks down the moment she arrives. Attractions sparks between them. Will Craig trust in Megan or will he push her away to protect his heart?

Oh my gosh, I loved Craig and Megan. This is a short and sweet romance between two people with a lot of baggage. They just need some time to figure out what they want. The two of them deserve so much more then they have been given. To know that they build a life between them and with Craig's son was just absolute perfection! I cannot wait to see what Ms Kincaid brings us next!

Cute story about finding love when you aren’t looking for it. Loved the interactions between Craig and Megan and really enjoyed his relationship with her aunt. I found the explanation of Craig’s single dad status a unique twist on the typical story. I do believe Craig will pop into my thoughts the next time my car breaks down, and I will be scouring the repair shop in search for a sexy mechanic of my own. My one wish is that we could have spent more time with baby Ellis to properly see the relationship between Craig and his little boy.

Cass has done it again! Another great story with amazing characters. Unexpected Daddy was everything I expected and more. It was a beautiful story about moving on, new beginnings and true love.

When Craig and Megan met they would have never excepted things to turn out the way they do. Neither of them were looking for their happily ever after, but finding love isn’t always “planned”.

An absolute must read!💙
