A great story of righting a wrong. The added bonus of romance and instalove was sweet and romantic. So glad everything worked out!!

I've read a couple of Nikki Bloom's books,,,, I like her writing,,,,
Thus story begins when Alex Ramsey gets out of the Joliet Correctional Facility from an 8 year stint he did in 5, for good behavior,,,, he is met in the parking lot by his driver, Carl, who he's had for 15 years, along with his housekeeper, Tina for the same amount of years,,,, He goes down to Ramsey Industrial Technology on the 40th floor of the building to get into his mother's office to get a piece of paper that proves he was innocent and his mother's husband, his stepfather, Dante Ross was actually the one that was the guilty obe,,,, but he can't get into her office,,, he goes to Dante's office, which use to be his and barges in while he was in an interview with this amazing looking woman,,,, he couldn't think straight after seeing her,,,,,
Nova Lyons is in Chicago an goes to an interview at the company she has always wanted z job at, Ramsey Industrial Technology,,,, she is perfect for the interview, but between the bus stop and RIT it starts rainjng,,,, she finally gets into the building, gets to the elevator and before the doors close this big, amazing looking, soaked to the bone man gets into the elevator also,,,,, she tries to make small talk with him, but gives up,,,, then he barges into her interview and THEN he sees her,,,,,and it just gets better for her,,,,
I really enjoyed this book,,,, it was short, but good,,,, I would so totally recommend this book to anyone,,,,,

Every single thing Ms. Bloom publishes is filled with so much deliciousness. It is like she just continually crafts gold in book form. While this is a quick read; it is also hard hitting and will leave you wanting more and more from her.
The Billionaire Encounter is a storyline revolving around a wrongfully accused billionaire, Alex, as well as the woman that will claim his heart, Nova. As he storms into his Family business, with justice and vindication on his mind... everything comes to a standstill the first time he actually 'sees' Nova. Not in the elevator, but the office he has just barged his way through. I encourage all romance junkies, like myself, to follow along on Alex's journey to serve justice his way. In this superbly designed book, there are so many twists and turns, but trust that you will most definitely enjoy the ride these two take to get there. I promise.

This is one action packed, hard hitting, fast paced, nailbiting, nerve racking, heart pounding, pulse racing, page turning bombshell that's as riveting as it is captivating. All the twists and turns, unexpected circumstances and unpredictable surprises around every corner make for one remarkable experience. A whirlwind of emotions and events that pulls the heartstrings. I loved this book. Great writing. It has suspense, love, dislike, laughter, funny, and sadness. I really liked the characters, Alex, Nova and disliked Dante and Donald. Despicable men. Greedy and think they are above the law. Alex home from prison at first for revenge but then to prove his innocence with the help of his new friend, lover Nova. I felt sorry for Nova trying to help Alex and getting the worst of the end. Dante, beating her up, trying to rape her. I was surprised to read that she was still standing at the end. Nova is compassionate and given person. She didn't even know Alex's mom but tried to help her and sat with her in the hospital and talked to her to keep her company. I did wish there was more to the end with Alex and Nova getting together. I hope that Nikki will write more about them.

Alex Ramsey was being released after 5 years served at the Joliet Corrections Facility for a crime he didn’t commit. He goes to Ramsey Industrial Technologies, his family’s business, only to find that his mother is no longer running things. Dante had married her and kept her drugged so that he could take over. In the meantime, Alex meets a new-hire, Nova Lyons. Alex is out to get revenge on the one who falsely had him put in prison, and he unexpectedly gets help from Nova. But there will be a price to pay. Is she willing to pay that price to help Alex? Can the two of them make things right?
This was a well-written story and a good read. I liked Alex’s character right from the start. The story line is paced well and really tugs at the emotions, making everything seem so real. Grab a copy and see if Alex gets his revenge and justice is finally served!

I loved the storyline. I had to read it twice, I loved the book that much. I loved the excitement not knowing what was going to happen. I felt so sorry for Alexander going to prison for a crime he didn't commit. When Alexander was released from prison he went to the company his family owned to see his mother, his mother wasn't there so he went to the house he grew up in to see her. Alexander was shocked to see the state of his mother drugged up to the eyeballs. Alexander feared for his mother's life, he wanted to clear his name and rescue his mother from the clutches of his stepfather. In amongst everything he still found romance.

This book contains steamy sex scenes and is for 18+ readers.
I loved this book. Although it is a shorter book, it is so full of well-rounded characters, by the end you feel like they are old friends (or enemies). Alex is filled with anger after spending 5 years in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Dante should have taken the fall. As Alex plots his revenge, he meets Nova. She helps him see that there are more important things in life. Alex is an honorable man. Nova is brave, determined & loyal. Dante is a slimeball. watching him sink deeper into evil is hard. Seeing him get what's coming to him is easy. Oh, did I mention HEA?
You will fall in love with this book. I did.

They have an instant friendship and when she learns about what happened to him she wants to help. What neither counted on was that the men responsible for him going to jail would come after Nova. The risk she put herself in for turned into an even greater risk. Can Alex keep her safe? Will they ever get the truth out?
This is a great story and once I started it I couldn't put it down. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

This is a suspenseful, action packed story about Alex and Nova. Alex's mother ran the family business. While he was in prison for a crime he did not commit, his mother got sick and his step-father stepped in. His step-dad and his right hand man are evil, manipulative, greedy, and think they can get away with anything to remain in control.
Alex met Nova on her first day at the job. There is a lot of chemistry between them and they strike up a friendship. Alex wants revenge. Nova ends up helping him. The story quickly develops. A great plot and characters.

This book had me on edge almost from the start, the action, drama and suspense increasing at an alarming rate. Combine that with a case of instant attraction and you have all the ingredients for one hot story you will not be able to put down till the end. This was a short story that I wish I could give more than five stars. It ticked all the boxes and kept the story line flowing with shock and terror before ending with a bang.

Alex spent 5 yrs in prison for a crime he didn't commit. Now he wants revenge. There are issues with his Mom he needs to take care of. Nova is applying for a job at Alex's stepfathers company. The attraction between Alex and Nova was immediate. They meet at the company and have instant chemistry. After Nova gets the job, Alex asks her help to prove his innocence. He also wants he to help with his Mom's problem. Danger, suspense, distrust, drama and an awesomely written storyline to make this book a definite must read!!!

He's just released from prison and he has revenge on his mind
I loved the feel of this book - it's a good old fashioned romance with a twist and a half, but don't get me wrong it's not an old fashioned read. The bedroom and other scenes are hot and heavy, and the characters are real and up to date. What makes me say that it's a good old fashioned romance? Well because there's no cheating and no gold digging ex causing trouble. Just two people who meet and realise that they are attracted to each other and have to jump through several hoops in order to come out on top.

For me, there was no real connection between the MCs. Nova seemed equally attracted to the villain as to Alex—right up until he tried to take advantage. For Alex, it was almost like “hey, here’s the first woman I’ve seen since five years in prison. I’m suddenly madly in love.” Also, he has some serious rape culture thoughts that turned me off him. Any time an MC says something along the lines of “I would take her right here if I wasn’t so strong” without reference to her inclinations on the matter is icky. The story line and resolution was vague and unbelievable as well. You can pull off a good story with only one or the other, but lacking both is a fatal blow.

Alex had just been released after five years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit. He went to his late fathers firm to see his mother and going up in the lift he met Nova who was going for a job interview. Alex wasn’t allowed into his mother’s office so went to see his stepfather who was interviewing Nova. Alex got no joy so went to his mother’s house there he found her in an nearly empty room drugged up. He got out of there and with Novas help tried to right the wrong. I’m not going to to spoil this only to say It is a short romance with action of one kind or the other

A fast paced well written & sexy page turner
The hero has just been released from prison having been framed by his step father. He wants vengeance & unexpectedly gets help from the most unlikely source, a young girl who has just started work at his late father's firm. Thay have instant steamy attraction & this naive young heroine turns out to be kickass great in assisting the hero to get his firm back & to save his drugged mother from a fate worse than death. It would make a great movie. I received an ARC & this is my honest & voluntary review.

This is a fast moving, page turner that I didn't want to put down. It has a little bit of everything and moves fast. There is intrigue, deceit, loyalty, questionable office politics, heated moments, misguided loyalties, big money and more. Off course there is heat and sexy time with hot, steamy sexy moments. You will laugh and cry, yell and cheer during this story. I would highly recommend this is a great read for 18+ reader.

This was a very fast paced book. There was thrills, spills, betrayal, romance and drama. The plot could have been more developed as far as I am concerned. If Nikki Bloom had slowed down a bit and elaborated on parts that could have had more detail the plot would have been very good. The characters were well played out, you hate the villains and love the rest. I can recommend this book for adult readers as there is a lot of intimacy.

A well written entertaining story that was an emotional rollercoaster. It includes suspense, love, laughter, sadness, betrayal, greed, and drama in this action packed ride of emotion and passion. The characters have steamy instant attraction and are well developed and captured my heart as I continued to turn page after page till the last word was read.

I was so looking forward to reading this book but to me it lacked depth. The story had so much potential. It is about an evil stepfather taking over the company that Alex inherited from his father. When released from prison, he enlisted the help of the newly hired Nova. Together, they have to find a way to save his mother and the company. It was an okay read.

Alex leaving jail after serving 5 years for something he didn't do meets Nova who has just begun working for his family's firm. Some sinister and sometimes far fetched events happen with Alex's stepfather. Nova and Alex seem to fall for each other much too quickly. Nova giving herself to Alex when she hardly knows him with no mention of any contraception either and no apparent nervousness on her part. Storyline on the whole not quite believable. Read an ARC for an honest review.

This is an exciting emotionally deep read! The storyline is well developed and the pace is relatively fast. It is action packed with adventure, fighting, nefarious acts, humour, violent suspense, and witty banter. The characters are strong and a perfect match; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. This is a really enjoyable read, I had fun reading it.

Alex was in prison for a crime he didn't commit and now he is out and going to find out who did. Nova has her whole life planned out and now is working at Ramsey Industrial Techologics. I enjoyed reading about these two characters Alex and Nova . The pages ran smoothly and it had a good storyline. It was a page turner and well written.

This book was different from Nikki's other work like Sincerely Summer. The plot to the story is good, but it seems to be rushed. Nikki does provide a HEA to this story but an extra chapter or two would have been nice instead of it feeling rushed and the ending left you feeling ....there was something missing

After Luke's dad died his life fell apart. To protect his mom he took the blame for something he didn't do and spent 5 years in prison.
Nova had a rather boring life and couldn't wait to start her new job at RIT. What both of didn't know was how much their lives were going to change. This is a great read with with plenty of suspense. I loved it.

Wow, once you pick up this book you'll find it hard to put down. Full of emotion and no shortage of suspense. Lots of drama and betrayal to keep your interest. Alex and Nova will capture your heart as they take you on an emotional roller coaster. Well developed characters and an entertaining read. I read an advance reader copy and voluntarily chose to review.

I loved the insta-love, or at least lust, between Alex and Nova. I think you'll do some rooting of your own when you read this wonderfully written, romance novella! I'm still swooning over Alex!

This was my first book by this author so I was not exactly sure what to expect.
I thought the book was good though and had enough detail to really count as a story, but it was short.
I think the development of the relationship between Alex and Nova was a bit fast and unrealistic, but overall, this is not a bad read if you are looking for something east to get through

After spending time in prison for something he did not do, Alex finally is released. What he finds when he gets home is mind boggling. I do not want to leave any spoilers. Fast paced and lots of drama and surprising twist.
