I've had a bad case of wanderlust since college and one text from a friend on New Year's Eve is the perfect motivation to pack my bags and head across the pond to London. When my trip abroad turns into a disaster, hot pub owner Ben Waterstone steps in and saves the day. And after we share an unexpected kiss, he steals my heart too. I'm only planning on staying in London for a month but a brief fling could turn this into a permanent vacation.

About the author

I was first indoctrinated into the romance genre by my babysitter who watched hours upon hours of daytime soap operas. I harbored many inappropriate crushes on fictional characters such as John Black from “Days of Our Lives,” Orry Main from the min-series “North & South,” and Edward Fairfax Rochester from Jane Eyre. I am still in love with Davy Jones from The Monkees.

I currently live in the Southwest with my husband, tiny four-year-old terror, and a tuxedo cat with a limp. When I'm not swooning over book boyfriends or dreaming up romances, I can be found educating the youth of America. Or eating tacos

Resolution: Wanderlust by Rebecca Gallow a five-star read that will make you travel. Once again, the Resolution pact has pulled it out of the bag, it made me want to go to London again, I could only wish that I would find me a Ben, we could have Steak frites and Cider (even though I hate cider, I would drink that nectar down). I can only hope if ever I need the courage, I will be string like Milly.

Wanderlust

Millie is ready to take on the world. For her resolution, she decides to travel and her first stop is London. Her plan is to stay for a month but when everything goes up in smoke, plans can change. When Ben sweeps in to save the day, they didn’t know that their life plans are about to change rather quickly!!!

I enjoyed Milly and Ben’s story, it was quick but gave us enough detail to the point where you’d want more from these characters and see where life takes them but at the same time content with the story we’re currently given. Heading to London on her own couldn’t have been easy but I admire Milly for taking that leap and going on this Wonderlust adventure.

This was a very short book, only 45 pages in fact. So, there wasn’t a lot of time for the story to be developed. Despite this, I did feel as if I got a full story. There were drama, blush moments and a happy ending!
I think the only thing, for me, that was missing was a little bit more of an intro. I was expecting there to be a decision making about her resolution to come to London to tie the theme into the book. However, instead, it starts with her already there and already in dire straits! However, as I said with only 45 pages to work with the author couldn’t put everything in.
I’ve only ever read one other of the Resolution collaboration that the Flirt Club did, so I’m glad I made this my second. I really enjoyed Mille and Ben’s story, and I am looking forward to reading more about them in ‘Wanderlust Wedding’. I thought they worked well together and certainly had chemistry and more of a story to tell.

i read this book as part of an arc program. This book is a part of the Resolutions series written by a variety of authors. In this book, Milly has traveled to London in hopes of curing her wanderlust. When she arrived, she learned the rental she rented was a scam and she has nowhere to stay. Milly goes into a pub in hopes of finding a place and getting her money sorted. Milly meets Ben, the bartender, and when he overhears her problem, he offers her his spare room. Without any other options, Milly goes to Ben's and Ben offers to show her around London. They have a great time flirting and teasing each other. When Milly realizes she will be leaving soon, she pulls away from Ben and sets out on her own. Ben wants Milly to stay and he has strong feelings for her and wants to explore them. Milly has to decide if she wants to stay or continue travelling. I liked this book. I think their attraction was amazing. i felt Ben really cared for MIlly and he was a lot of fun to be with. Good one.

Milly takes a chance to travel after reading a message from a former sorority sister. However it quickly takes a bad turn when she loses all her money and is stranded in London. Ben is the bartender at the place she ends up until she figures out what to do. Ben overhears her troubles and offers his spare room to her. Milly takes Ben up on his offer and they leave after his shift is done. Sparks fly between them and its not long before they sleep together. Can Milly still fulfill her wish and stay with Ben in London? Can Ben convince her to stay with him?


This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. The chemistry between them is blazing hot. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Thoroughly enjoyed this romp by a brave woman who decides it’s time for an immersion into English life.
Milly decides it’s time to take a chance and travel to London as she’s always wanted to go. Of course, things don’t go according to plan. But luckily Milly meets Ben, and he lends a helping hand.
Through their sightseeing, and some electrifying moments, Milly and Ben discover that life offers more than they ever thought and demonstrates that not all who wander are lost.

This is a cute story! I really liked the characters in this fun story. It's a quick read but very enjoyable. Milly takes her sorority sisters New Year's Resolution request to heart and decides to fulfill her regret; not going abroad during college. Her wanderlust fulfillment is to rent a cottage and explore London. However, her plan is derailed after she reaches London. She then meets her savior Ben. This is a very enjoyable, steamy, sexy read!!

Milly’s New Years resolution is to see the world so she buys a one way ticket to London. But she’s scammed out of her rent money and is drowning her sorrows and Ben the bartender comes to her rescue and offers her a place to stay.
Ben is great. He’s sweet and decent.

Thoroughly enjoyable short story. Molly resolves to see the world, but is scammed out of her rental in London and ends up rooming with Ben. They end up hooking up and decide to see where their relationship leads. I would have loved an epilogue for this story I want to know more!

This was a great short story. It is part of a series of short stories that a bunch of different authors are doing. In this we have Milly and Ben. After missing out on going abroad to study Milly decides to finally take the trip. While there she meets Ben. She thinks that she needs this trip but after a little while she finds what she really needs to happy.

What a great short read from Rebecca Gallo. Milly decides to satisfy her wanderlust by traveling abroad while working. Her plans in London don't go quite as planned and she meets the hot pub owner, Ben, who lends a helping hand. This was a fun, sexy read that satisfied the need for a short book. I hope that we might get to see more of Ben and Milly in the future.

Milly has decided her New Year's resolution is to travel to London, however when she arrives she discovers she has been scammed and now has no place to stay. She meets Ben at a local pub. They immediately hit it off. When he discovers her dilemma he offers her his spare room.
This was a great story. These two were fated to meet and be together. Loved their connection. Another good one!

Relatively well written, but missing a better connection between the mc's.
The adult scenes were a bit mild.
There were some editing errors.
Oh, and it actually leads to another book about these same mc's, so it's basically an HFN.
A very short read at about 40 pages, but felt longer due to 'drag'.

A lovely quarter life crisis story. No really it is a fun take on turning lemons into lemonade. Ben is absolutely irresistible. That is all I’m going to say. You need to reed it.

Romance across the pond

Short, sexy & swoon worthy quick read. Milly & Ben's story was dreamy. Ben is a hot, knight in shining armor, rescuing Milly after an unfortunate situation arises on her first trip abroad. The sizzle & electricity they feel makes for an interesting way to get to know one another. HFN. I sincerely hope to hear more of Milly & Ben in the future.

Milly was tired of everyone living their life to the fullest and her chickening out every time she wanted to do something. so she booked a trip to London and after landing and having crazy shit happen to her. she found herself without a place to stay and in a bar getting hit on by the sexy bartender Ben. well he offers her a room and promises to show her around London during her stay. and lots of other activities may happen during her stay. this was another great short read.

Went to read the Wedding series and discovered it was a continuation from this book, which bizarrely I hadn’t read.
This was a great read, short and sweet. Based on the premise of New Years resolution to do something you’ve always wanted.
I loved Ben and Milly and how he didn’t want to quash her wanderlust but embrace it and be part of it.

Milli meets bar owner Ben on her worst day. She’s come to explore London and Ben offers the beautiful damsel in distress his spare room. He plays tour guide and can’t keep his hands etc. off her. They share electric chemistry and that frightens Milli till her alpha backs off a bit and gives her a chance to miss him. Hot story of two people who meet under unusual circumstances.
